Sorry but there is no simple solution for that except by using the mobile theme. It will prove more difficult than it sounds and there is no simple solution we can provide via the theme support. sorry. We suggest you hire a developer/freelancer to help with this customization as we cannot offer any custom work at the moment.
Thank you!
Hi,
Sorry but we have not tested this type of ad so I can;t say for sure. Please follow google’s implementation instructions as it may need an extra code added in the mobile theme;s head section as most google ads that are not a standard adsense require.
Thank you!
Hello,
Well since the plugin is not tested I;m not sure if it can translate the mobile menu or not. I cannot provide any specific solution for untested plugins. However you could try to disable the mobile theme plugin and use the theme’s standard responsive version. The mobile theme is more ‘picky’ with plugins. It works with a lot less than the main theme because of it’s custom nature.
Thank you!
Hi TagDiv Team,
First of all,I’d like to thank each of you for creating such a dope theme. Even tho, I’ve done my research thru other topics on the forum I couldn’t find anything that would lead me to add additional categories to mobile menu. Because I don’t wanna keep my header menu crowded, instead I’d like to add a few more categories to the top menu for an easy navigation to my visitors. Since there is no option to create a separate menu for mobile which takes whatever I put on the header menu, I need to ask if you could show me a way to add extra categories to mobile menu which won’t show up on desktop. Also, I realize we can’t add top menu to our mobile menu(it would look super ugly anyways, no need)so I’m in desperate need of your help.
Looking forward to hear from you.
I have an ad in the header of the theme by using Theme panel -> Ads -> Header Ads. On the desktop I see the banner but when I look at my site on my Mobile the ad doesn’t show.
DISABLE ON DESKTOP is turned off
DISABLE ON TABLET PORTRAIT is turned off
DISABLE ON PHONE is turned off
Hi,
I’m not using the mobile theme plugin.
I would like to know if it’s possible to change the post template and main menu on mobile.
My goal is to have on mobile a post template and main menu, and have a different post template and main menu on desktop.
Tks
Hi!
Congratulations for such an awesome tool 😉 BUT!
We are struggling with the mobile menu… maybe we are trying to do something that we can’t!
So, we have our blog in two languages using the Polylang plugin. We manage to create all the posts and everything apart from the mobile menu when looking at it through the phone. So, in the desktop looks perfect but once we look on the phone there’s no way to have it in Spanish… its in English.
We tried to modify the menu display in the WordPress chapter of Appearance and we also tried to select “no menu” on the mobile theme of the Newspaper itself.
Is there a way to have the mobile main menu in two languages?
Thanks in advanced for your help
Hello Vicky,
Please notice that the W3 Total Cache is not tested with our theme, sorry! You should use only the WP Super Cache plugin because this is our tested caching plugin. For more information about settings of WP Super cache, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Please notice that the mobile theme makes some troubles due to WP Super Cache plugin. Also, the WP Super Cache plugin is compatible with the mobile devices, but if you are using the Mobile Theme, please notice that you should make some changes for a better working. This could be a problem from wp super cache and not the browser. If you use the plugin, please use this method to fix the issue:
Use this link and add the customization as marked here: https://github.com/Automattic/wp-super-cache/pull/185/files
Edit wp-cache-phase1.php and add the green code from the right column as it shows there.
If you need more assistance regarding on your images, please provide your website URL so we can take a closer look.
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
1. You could use the plugin recommended in this topic by Chris S – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/getty-images-plugin/ Give it a try and see how it goes.
2. Unfortunately not, the menu is limited to drop-down capabilities on mobile – https://www.screencast.com/t/PjRfeijrZ For the pages, you must enter your content in the mobile editor section – https://www.screencast.com/t/3TUtmys4 in order to be displayed on mobile when using the mobile theme plugin, as explained in the mobile theme guide provided above.
3. Yes the 7 days post sorting is based on page views, it will not work if this setting is disabled.
4. Unfortunately in this regard I have no recommendation, you will have to search for user role manager plugins and try a few of them out.
6. You can set a tagline and a site image like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/OhmMIeSHvb – https://www.screencast.com/t/0SGYXRVW
Thanks
Hi Kanana, can you help me with the exact settings for this to work with W3 total cache?
There is already a usergroup called ‘low’ with mobile user agents do you leave that untouched? And which theme do you select for the new usergroup or do you leave it empty?
Hi,
You can try this code if you want to hide the big grid displayed on mobile, just enter it in Theme panel->Mobile theme->Custom code – https://www.screencast.com/t/EDRafYlMcO
.td_block_big_grid_mob_1 {
display: none;
}
Thanks
Hi,
Okay I get it, that I cannot show Link ads through theme’s ads panel.
I got one more thing, I want to ask i.e., Whenever I try to use W3 Total Cache with NewsPaper theme and choose the option to load Javascript Asynchronously, I noticed that the theme stop showing images. Also, if I use the TagDiv Mobile theme with W3 Total Cache, the mobile theme start showing on browser sometimes and the desktop theme on mobile platforms.
I tried to fix this issue by choosing the defer Javascript option of the w3 Total Cache, but still the issue of images not showing up and wrong theme for different platforms loads up.
Then I decided to delete the mobile theme and to do that again, but the image issue was still there.
Right now, I am not using any Caching plugin and any other plugin or code to load javascript asynchronously/ defer.
I noticed some warnings when I ran Google Pagespeed Insights and would like to learn some tips to fix these warnings.
I know I can also use WP Super Cache, but it is not that efficient and don’t have that many features as compared to W3 Total Cache.
If you are about to run a Google Pagespeed Insights, then please check the render blocking javascript and css for the desktop and ignore for the mobile platform as I am using mobile theme which is preoptimized.
Thanks!
I’m sorry.
There are parts of the website that are not seen on the mobile. The plugins that I have active are the following:
– Accelerated Mobile Pages
– AMP
– Asesor de Cookies
– Contact Form 7
– Jetpack by WordPress.com
– Simple Social Icons
– Speed Booster Pack
– tagDiv Mobile Theme
– WP Super Cache
– WPBakery Visual Composer (Versión 4.12.1)
– Yoast SEO
I’ve followed all the steps and still do not know what to do.
Hello Mudit,
Unfortunately, the Speed Booster has not been tested with Mobile Theme and you should edit the plugin core file in order to achieve as you wish, sorry! Please keep in mind that the Speed Booster was created to optimize the Desktop version and also, the mobile version by default. The Mobile Theme is an optional plugin and it was not tested with speed booster. If you want to display more levels in our theme and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide additional customizations at the moment, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
The plugins that come bundled with the theme including the mobile theme, are located in the plugins folder – https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/ and you should find them in the downloaded theme folder – https://www.screencast.com/t/7IbgttUf – https://www.screencast.com/t/7IbgttUf
Thanks
Thanks a lot for your clarify, but there’re something I don’t understand it clearly so I’d like to ask you again a little bit more in each topics.
1. Is it really that hopeless? Aren’t there have such things like code or plugin that could solve it easier? Just make a first picture of each article into a featured image or something like that. It’d be much appreciate if you know a proper way to do it. Because I’m kind a fear to search for a code or plugin by myself without having someone who’s reliable recommend it to me.
(I have a huge amount of old articles added recently, it’s impossible to set all of these one by one. But if I’m not do something, these articles would show on my website with blank. And that would be horrible)
2. So the mobile theme menu will not show what inside mega menu right? Here’s the website menu – http://www.screencast.com/t/T2IByVUh1tx and the mobile menu – http://www.screencast.com/t/tF66hKFlcUP0 so my case here have to switch back to the non-mobile theme to show it properly, is that correct? And also the page that I’ve made – http://www.screencast.com/t/igogX9zLUC it will not show anything in mobile theme too?
– http://www.screencast.com/t/wWQejqNpycSL
3. So the 7 days sort order is forced to show post views on the article right? (At first I disable it because I thought it just on/off the number shown on article, but still counting in background)
4. Did you have any recommend plugin too?
5. This one is fine.
6. It is this – http://www.screencast.com/t/Te2VK1Hn the picture that would appear if someone share my homepage. And also the sub-head in no.2, where can I add them?
Many thanks.
Hello,
If you want to disable the footer of the mobile theme you can add this code in the mobile theme custom css section:
.td-mobile-footer-wrap{
display:none;
}
For the H1 tags I assume you are referring to the post titles:
.td-post-title .entry-title{
font-size: 25px;
text-align:center;
}
}
also aligned center.
The h2:
.td-post-content h2{
font-size:25px;
}
center the views and comment count:
.td-post-title .td-module-meta-info{
display: table;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
}
Sorry but the menu cannot be moved or made a dropdown.
Thank you!
Hello hunsour,
Unfortunately, the Mobile Theme is not actually tested with Newsmag, sorry! At the moment, it is only available for Newspaper and not only for Newsmag. Notice that our developers are working hard in this regard and in near future update, maybe this feature will be implemented in Newsmag theme, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!

hi.
my tag div mobile theme stopped working tonight. it opens as a white space.
how can i fix this ?
The og and meta tags are missing from the mobile theme. There is a pc theme. how to do?
I use plugin ‘tagDiv Mobile Theme’
The pc theme has head information. But there is no mobile theme. Like og or meta tags
And the Google AdSense script is also missing from the mobile theme. Help me
Please explain easily. I think it would be better to use images. Because I do not know English. T.T
I’m using a translator! Thanks and I’m sorry
How can i disable the grid from mobile theme? I don’t use the featured option, hence it is displaying three latest posts repeatedly.
1. The thumbs in my TagDiv Image Galleries only show the top half of the images (screenshot below). How can I change the height of them? I need thumbs which have more height than width or are at least a square.
2. Im using the Big Grid 1 on my homepage –> same as your News Magazine demo. Is it possible to increase the height of the 4 small elements for mobiles (mobile theme/view)? I need them to be squares. I`ve already changed it for desktops.
Thanks
Just got Newspaper 7 and am uploading the theme. Went to install the mobile plugin and it’s not in the plugin folder like the documentation said it would be. Did they move it?
