Hello,

This is because you use the mobile theme. The author box was created using visual composer. The mobile theme does not use visual composer. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you!

Hi

Glad you have manged to sort this out in the end and you have successfully moved the scripts to page’s bottom.
I’ve checked your site again with google page speed tool and the render blocking resources are reported only for mobile devices, even if they are loaded in footer: http://screencast.com/t/yYwtOR38Chttp://screencast.com/t/EjNAHbMBXWG2
Google is very restrictive when it comes about mobile page speed and some things may be interpreted different then for desktop. The Speed Booster plugin does its job and moves those scripts at page’s bottom but it can’t change how google generate the reports. We know about this situation and indeed it’s very strange but we can’t do much about it. The theme and plugins control only page’s html, not google’s algorithm in page speed regard.

Thanks!

Hello bazzer7rose,

I have inspected your website and I noticed that you are using some untested plugins which can interfere with the theme code and which can cause a lot of unknown issues. Please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, I have checked your console tab and you have some warnings and errors which might be generated by your untested plugins. As a default state, the theme works like a charm and until now we haven’t encountered any issue with the search module to mobile mode.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,
The mobile theme plugin can be activated as any other plugin by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
We removed the insall now button because lots of people installed the mobile theme plugin without knowing what it does. We had to make sure people understood the theme is responsive without the mobile theme and that users read the guide before using the plugin
Thank you!

Hi tagdiv,

I’m in trouble of issue with WP Super Cache and theme Newspaper.
My case is:
– I delete all cache
– I go to a post from a desktop. Cache generates.
– I go to a post from a mobile, my website renders desktop view. => system should generate mobile cache instead, and render mobile view.

I have follow this post and CHECKED on mobile supports. https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Any suggestion for me? My website is http://quabongvang.vn/

Thanks,
Thai

Hello Leofitz,

Unfortunately, I cannot compare both websites because on this website here -> http://newstest.meta-morphos.es/ you are using the Mobile Theme and on the mobile mode has the totally different layout. Also, please try to get rid of it all the custom implementation and try the theme like at default settings. The Revolution Slider is fully optimized for mobile mode. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them and leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. If you want to display more levels in the theme and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

Hello itourisme,

Please notice that the Mega Menu feature is not working for Mobile devices, but only for desktop mode. In that way has been designed our theme and this is the normal behaviour for it. If you refer to something else, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello ijammedia,

Thanks for reaching us! Please keep in mind that our Mobile Theme has a special template when you are using the Smart List which has some different behaviour than the normal theme. This is not an issue, but this is just a theme behaviour with mobile theme activated. So, if you are unhappy with this behaviour, you can disable the mobile plugin and the theme will be switched to the normal theme.

Thanks for your understanding!

Once the menu changes to mobile menu my search seems to be disabled on the right side. It starts at ipad size and goes all the way down to iphone, no search. Is there something I need to do within the theme? My website is http://www.americansecuritytoday.com

I’ve been working with the Newspaper theme with a Magazine-front page. I added a Revolution slider at the top with a stock ticker widget (http://tdhedge.meta-morphos.es/). I added a few lines of CSS to adjust the margins of the slider, but otherwise used settings available within the Visual Composer and Theme Panel. The home page displays fine on my desktop monitor, but it’s jumbled when I view it on a mobile phone. It in fact crashes the Safari mobile browser 50% of the time.

To troubleshoot the problem I installed a new WP with new a demo install of Newspaper and tried to make only the most minimal adjustments to arrive at a similar design result. This included the Revolution slider but not the stock ticker widget in the right column.

The second build (http://newstest.meta-morphos.es/) has a slightly better result, but still doesn’t appear to be smoothly responsive. Could someone view my test pages and provide some suggestions for a fix?

The primary change from stock version of the Newspaper theme was a Revolution slider at 200px high, which replaced the built-in slider on the Magazine home page.

Is there an ideal combination of settings on the Revo slider, that make it most friendly to the adjustments required when the site is viewed in responsive mobile phone mode?

Thank you

Hey Catalin,

This solution worked great for the desktop version, but for mobile (without using the Mobile Theme) these second level categories still show. What files do I need to edit in order to exclude them there too?

Hi Support,

When using Smart Lists with the mobile theme we’ve found a little UX quirk. On a desktop, as you paginate through the smart list using Smart List Style 1 it works great. But using the mobile theme as you paginate through a list it does a page refresh each time then jumps up to the top of the page. Obviously, this means the user has to scroll down to the content each time they paginate. Is there any way it can be fixed at the exact point where the user paginates. It works perfectly on Desktop so it must be an issue with the mobile theme.

As yet I haven’t tried disabling the mobile theme to see if it fixes the issue. I guess the pagination on desktop uses JS/jQuery to perform the AJAX pagination?

Any feedback greatly appreciated.

Cheers, Sas

HI

Mobile theme is an optional plugin mean to serve a simpler version of the page on mobile devices. For more detail about the plugin please check this link: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Hi,

Do you use also the Mobile Theme plugin? In this case you can try to remove or comment this code – http://screencast.com/t/C4h36vO3
If you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin and you use the default mobile version you could use custom css to hide it – http://screencast.com/t/h8i2WwAy

@media(max-width: 767px) {
.td-header-wrap .td-header-menu-wrap-full {
display: none;
}
}

Thanks!

HI

I’ve replied you in other topic and also if you check the threads pointed by @Edward you will noticed that we mentioned our theme was never tested with opera mini, no matter if you’re using mobile theme or not, we can’t guarantee that the theme will work fin with that browser.
Thanks!

HI

Your code is added in page’s source even on mobile devices, please check this screen: http://screencast.com/t/RpR1CN0d however the theme can’t control its functionality. The theme only insert your code in page source and that’s it, no other action are made.

Thanks!

Salut imatei,

In caz afirmativ, solicita-le sa il goleasca.

Hello kibiribi,

I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using Mobile Theme. Also, I guess that you have added some Blocks in your Mobile Editor from Visual Composer, right? -> http://screencast.com/t/28COlyfKaVGo and that’s why to appear that shortcodes for your side. If you want to have to the mobile mode the same style with the desktop you simply disable the mobile theme because it will be switched to the general responsive mode. For more information about Mobile Theme, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thanks for your understanding!
