Hello SanjaKokica,
After several investigations in this regard have concluded that this type of issue come from WP Super cache which is not fully compatible with WordPress 4.6 and that’s why this problem occur. We hope that WP Super cache plugin will be updated it as soon as possible and that problem will be fixed. Notice that this issue appears and on Mobile Theme from Jetpack when the caching plugin is active.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
You can place ads on the mobile theme from the mobile theme settings here: http://screencast.com/t/UirT16eMqF
Unfortuanlty there is no ad spot before the latest articles section on the homepage so it will have to be added in the mobile theme files. You can use a do_shortcode function like so: http://screencast.com/t/RkyB7Dnq
Here is the code needed: <?php echo do_shortcode('[td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_1"]'); ?>
This will render the ad from custom ad 1 in the mobile homepage.
Thank you!
Hello,
We investigated this issue a bit as we have received reports of it since version 4.6 of wordpress. It seems there is a compatibility issue regarding wp super cache and the new version of wordpress. The same thing happens on a default theme and the jetpack mobile theme for example so it;s not theme related nor a problem with the mobile theme. We will have to wait until wp super cache releases an update to fix any incompatibility issues.
Thank you!
Hello stonedsociety,
I have checked your website and I saw that you are using the mobile theme plugin for the mobile version. Please notice that the Div’s method is available only for the default version of the theme, without using the mobile theme and you cannot add the snippet of the code with div’s in mobile theme. Please try to use the following code and place it there, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/2Gtc0vHbxN7o and the result you should see here -> http://screencast.com/t/QVDA3WFKy6Y5
<div class="td-all-devices"><a href="http://www.zamnesia.com/"><img src="http://thestonedsociety.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/zamnesiawide.gif" alt="Zamnesia" /></a></div>
Thanks for your understanding!
The mobile theme will convert the homepege as the guide I posted above shows. it will convert it tyo a grid with 3 featured posts and a list of the latest articles.
I’m not sure how you were using it and not having the homepage converted. It;s a strange issue. Maybe there was a plugin conflict that prevented the mobile theme from being active. The mobile theme was not tested with any plugins so we cannot say for sure which one will conflict with it or not as it’s still version 1.0
Thank you!
Hi, since last update, on mobile is shown desktop version of theme, not mobile. We tried to switch off plugin, than switch it on again, but nothing changde. Also, we did not install any new plugins since it worked properly. Some sugestions?
Our site
Hello alturas,
First of all, please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and then please ensure that you have right installed the mobile theme according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ Also, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
If you need more assistance in this regard, please provide your website URL so we can further inspect it.
Thanks.
Hi,
I would like to display an ad like this: http://imgur.com/a/pD68j within a post here before the related articles: http://imgur.com/a/MNp56
This needs to happen only on mobile theme and across all posts. How can I do this? Thanks!
I Have A Different Problem Now, Dafunda.com Mobile Theme Didn’t Work Correctly. Sometimes, Mobile theme Plugin is active. the other time, it’s look like deactivated.
I’m very confused. I was using the mobile theme plugin for the past month and it still showed the content from my homepage along with recent posts and other widgets.
Are you saying that the intended behavior for the mobile theme is not to display the content from the homepage and merely to show the latest posts?
Hello,
This happens because you use the mobile theme plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you do not want to use this plugin, you can simply disable it.
Thank you!

Hello Sanalsantiye,
I have checked your source page and I saw that you still have some untested plugins in active mode. Please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer and Mobile Theme plugin to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. After this, if your problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect your setup page. Also, please provide the link of this topic so we can easily identify you.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
This happens because you use the mobile theme plugin and did not add content in the mobile editor. You have to create page content for mobile as well if you use the mobile theme. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hello Hack4Life,
The author will need a bit of a css fix as the css got changed a bit in the new update but the author name was not updated for it. So until the next theme version please use this CSS code in the mobile theme’s custom code box:
.td-post-author-name div { display:inline; }
Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.
Hello,
Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
The mobile theme needs content to be added in the mobile editor to create mobile versions of your pages without the use if visual composer.
This is an optional plugin and the theme is responsive without it so if you do not like the plugin, you can simply deactivate it from the plugins section of wp.
Thank you!
Hello kuaza,
I have checked your website and I saw that you are using the Mobile Theme layout. Please notice that this feature will display on the mobile a different homepage compared to the desktop version. For more information about our feature, please consult the documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If is not what you mean, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for your understanding!
Good morning
thanks for the wonderful theme. I would like to remove the author’s name and date of publication from the mobile version of the theme . How can I do ?
Thank you

Hello,
if you do not like the mobile theme and want to use the standard responsive version of the theme you can simply disable the mobile theme plugin. It;s a simple plugin like any other. Access the plugins section of wordpress and press the disable button.
Thank you!
Hello,

Please use this guide for setting up the mobile theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ You can also disable the mobile theme plugin if you wnt to use the responsive version of the theme
Thank you!
Salut RaulCalin,
