Hello Thomas,

1)Please keep in mind that the Mobile Theme has not been tested with Woocommerce, bb press, Buddy Press.l This concept intends to display only the Big Grid (posts from Featured category), some text which must be written in Mobile Editor and the Latest Articles module in the bottom of the page. If you are unhappy with the mobile version you can turn off the plugin and the theme will be switched to the general mobile responsiveness version. This is not a bug in the theme, this is just the theme behaviour with the mobile plugin. It has been designed to have very basic structure, clear and very easy to use.
2)Please notice that the posts from your Big Grid at the top of your homepage in mobile theme come from your Featured category, for more information about this, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
3)The mega menu not working in mobile theme, sorry! If you want to develop more levels in our theme and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,
Unfortunately the 2 plugins for woocommerce were discontinued and we have not tested them with the mobile theme. As you probably seen the 2 plugins are no longer available in the theme package. There seemed to be no general interest in these 2 plugins so the dev. team decided to discontinue their development.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

It seems we’re having a misunderstanding. I don’t have any problem with theme but I just want to make it always show the desktop version of it. I would like to make the theme look same when viewing from desktop browser and from mobile browser. I don’t want it to be responsive (to look different on desktop and mobile phones).

Hi there,

I am encountering problems in Google Mobile-Friendly test.I am getting two errors:
1. Content wider than screen
2. Links too close together.

I haven’t change anything from the default Newspaper mobile theme.Please look into the issue and suggest me a resolution.

Hello,

1) You can change the black header color from the mobile theme colors option here:
http://screencast.com/t/8aB3AuhalQ If you do not use the mobile theme plugin, but rather the responsive version of the theme the colors need to be set from the theme colors tab as there will not be a mobile theme tab in the theme panel.
2) The mobile theme does not use blocks so there are no block titles on the mobile theme. Please use this code to target the titles on mobile:
@media (max-width:767px){
.block-title span{
font-size:12px!important;
}}

Thank you!

Hi,

I just installed woocommerce and woo addons from tagDiv. Then mobile version of my webpage on newspaper show only this message:

wp booster error:
td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: tdx_options is not set.
/var/www/clients/client2/web3/web/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_api.php

wp booster error:
Missing parameter: 'file'
/var/www/clients/client2/web3/web/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_autoload_classes.php

Desktop version works fine.

Observations:
* started to work once I deactivated tagDiv Mobile Theme
* also started to work once I deactivated tagDiv Woo Label and tagDiv Woo Invoice together

Ok thanks for the reply.

I found some strange issues on mobile:

1/ In the list shop section, the products images show on computer but not on mobile:
http://www.virtualmagie.com/boutique
or http://www.virtualmagie.com/categorie-produit/tours/

2/ In quick edit, on 3 articles, I used the featured element checkbox and clean the cache.
But on mobile on the homepage, it is still the 3 last articles published which are on top.

3/ In the menu, I don’t have the sub elements for the articles.
In the URL you give me, we clearly see that it is seems to work for you (see the image).
So I assume, it is a bug.

Your capture !

Hello richardmerry,

First of all, please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and the mobile theme works as properly. Yes, the Google Analytics code should work in mobile theme (the code have to be added only in the main theme). So, if you have some trouble with it, please provide your website URL so we can further inspect the problem. Also, if you URL is private, please send us an email at conbtact@tagdiov.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect your setup page. Provide the link of this topic so we can easily identify you.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,
Unfortuantly the mobile theme footer cannot be changed from the theme settings.
You can use thios css though to hide the footer and only leave the sub-footer showing:
.td-mobile-footer-wrap{
display:none!important;
}

Thank you!

Hello yupingwu,

Please notice that the layout of the mobile homepage is set it by default, like this -> Big Grid to the top of your page which displays the posts from your Featured category, a simple text which should be added from Mobile editor and the Latest Articles in the bottom of the page. This is the structure of the homepage if you are using the Mobile Theme -> for more information about this concept, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ Please notice that the Mobile Theme has been designed to have a very basic structure to be so useful, clear and very fast.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello Thomas,

Please keep in mind that this is mobile theme concept. If you want to come back to the general default mobile you will have to turn off the mobile plugin and the theme will be switched to the general responsiveness mobile version. For more information about our mobile theme, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thanks.

Hi, I am using Newspaper without the Mobile theme.

I’ve noticed that the Top Menu (where is the Signin/Join option) is not shown, so users can not register and log in.

How can I make the Top Menu visible for all devices?

All the best,
Angel

Hi, I’ve noticed that the Mobile Theme is not showing the content of my pages (only the Title but the content is blank). You can see this:
https://projectmanagers.org/work-with-us/
https://projectmanagers.org/volunteers/
https://projectmanagers.org/chapters/

And this problem also happens also with the checkout cart pages!!:

How can I fix this?

Do you need to add the google analytics code to the main newspaper theme and the mobile theme plugin, or does mobile analytics work with just the analytics in the main newspaper theme?

Hi, I’ve removed the footer on my standard theme, and just left showing the subfooter.

But in my mobile theme still shows an ugly logo image and “about us” text that I have not configured.

How can I remove the footer in my mobile theme?

According to the document, if I want my content to show on mobile devices, I have to either turn off the mobile theme, or to build the page that fits the format of mobile theme. I would still like to use mobile theme, but I don’t know how to build my page to fis the format. Please help me out!

Since the mobile version doesn’t show the theme background at all, I’d wish that there is a way to prevent loading it in the first place. Is that possible?

Overruling CSS with { background-image: none; } won’t help, since it will be loaded/transferred in the first place, right?

Thanks!

Hi, I’ve solved this by using the following CSS (in both standard Theme and Mobile Theme):

body {
margin-right: 30px;
background-color: white;
}

Hello

Are there options in the theme settings to add a logo for tablet/mobile sizes?

When my screen width is decreased it throws off the layout of my nav area. (since I am using the same size logo as the desktop version)

Thank you.

Hello crazydiver,

Unfortunately, the mobile theme has not been designed to recognize all the Visual Composer shortcode because this concept has been thought to have very basic structure, clear, fast and use for using.

Thanks for your understanding!
