Hi,
It seems you have a different mobile theme active on your website at the moment
– https://www.screencast.com/t/AmBL0ALgSggU
– https://www.screencast.com/t/9bS4asvBTzt
This is probably conflicting with the Newspaper mobile theme. You should only have one mobile theme active. Try deactivating the current one, and then activate the theme’s mobile plugin.
Thanks
Hi,
There is no option to insert ads in the category pages or the other pages you mention. All the theme’s add capabilities can be found in the documentation
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-ads-adsense/
This could only be achieved by using a plugin that can provide these options or by editing the theme files.
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, this comes with predefined layouts for the homepage, posts etc. You can use the mobile editor to insert content in pages, in order to be displayed when using the mobile theme
– https://www.screencast.com/t/OcJtl6Kd141
The front page will display a grid containing featured posts, and a Latest articles section
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
Page editors cannot be used on mobile pages. Please note that this plugin is optional, you can choose not to activate it and then the same content from desktop will be displayed on mobile. The theme is fully responsive and will adapt for all devices with the best results.
More information about the mobile theme here

Thanks
Hello,
The sidebar on mobile is moved under the content by default. If you want to remove sidebars, please use this code in the theme panel -> custom css box:
@media(max-width:767px){
.td-main-sidebar{
display:none!important;
}
}
Thank you!
Hello,
First of all, thank you for having responded to me
I have entered the css code
but it does not work
Mobile slider is always crushed
Hello,
This is the way the slider is implemented on mobile devices. It has the same behavior on our demo page: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ios-slider/
I will add this to our list for future updates and see if we can change the responsive nature of the thumb, Until then you can adjust the slider image height on mobile devices using this css:
@media (max-width: 500px){
.iosSlider-col-3 .td_module_slide .td-module-thumb, .iosSlider-col-3 .td_module_slide .entry-thumb {
height: 120%;
}
You can add the code in the theme panel-> custom css box.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please try the code provided below, it should make the images inside the gallery not clickable. If you have the mobile theme activated enter the code in Theme panel->Mobile theme Custom Css section. If you do not have this plugin active, you need to enter it in Theme panel->Custom code->Advanced Css in the Phones section.
Please let me know if this is working for you.
.td-slide-galery-figure {
pointer-events: none;
}
Thanks
Hello,
The top 3 posts of the mobile theme homepage are poss marked as featured. If you remove every post from the featured category, then the top grid on the mobile homepage will not show up anymore.
Thank you!
Hi,

Its possible disable sidebar at mobile. Not using mobile plugin?
You can add AMP right now; we’ve been doing it since it was in BETA end of 2015, with TagDiv themes. Use the AMP plugin from Automattic, as it’s from the same people who make WordPress, and developed for pro clients on WP like TIME.com etc.
PWAs are primarily to serve data in separate app, which is not really part of normal ‘website’ theming. Generally you should decide if you want to serve an AMP version of the website or a PWA. But unless you have special use case, for “most” people the AMP version and a quick, clean “responsive” website, or mobile friendly sub-theme as with NP works very well.
See: https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2016/08/a-beginners-guide-to-progressive-web-apps/
Google will rank your site better ON MOBILE with AMP, as it provides option for mobile users with compatible devices (but not all) to see different version of site streamlined for the mobile environment. It doesn’t get seen by desktop users and the viewer must be using AMP compatible device/browser.
Responsive works with everything. Mobile sub theme works with all mobile browsers (aside perhaps from some micro browsers).
A PWA — in theory — can give you a multi-level platform to serve a mobile app outside of browser, then fall back to AMP, then to mobile sub theme, then main responsive theme.
Presumably this will take some planning and research to implement.
But you can get AMP setup in an hour. So, I’d start there 🙂
This is how the site should look like in responsive devices
But what I am seeing form mobile is as follows
did you checked it with any mobile device.
Hello,
I also have the same problem and my client is contesting me
Mobile big slider: image is crushed – it’s not responsive
Can you help me solve the problem?
thank you so much!

How can i remove the featured area from home mobile theme?
slider height on mobile is showing wrong, the height is to low, i disable all plugins, i added a new row and a new slider same effect. On homepage : cadarmarius.ro
https://www.screencast.com/t/iwodaQTQ8 How can i fix that, or can i invisible that source name for mobile ? wants to show just desktop, if we dont fix it.
Hi,
I have inspected your website and it seems that the mobile theme is not working properly. It is not being displayed constantly, only randomly. Make sure you are using the latest version of the mobile plugin provided in the theme package. If you are not sure, deactivate and delete it, and install that one.
Please try the suggestions provided above and test if the mobile version is displayed at all times. Also check any custom code entered in theme panel, or added to the theme files that could interfere with the functionality.
Thanks
Hi,
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, this has the possibility to use have a different menu on mobile devices. When you activate this plugin, a mobile section will be available in the theme panel. There you can set the menu that will be displayed on mobile
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Gj7aBDPeVeE2
– https://www.screencast.com/t/MogvqB9Qm
Here you can find more information about the mobile theme provided in the theme package
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks
Hi,
If it is activated it should display at all times on mobile devices. Please provide a link to your website so we can take a look. You could try as a test to deactivate all your plugins except the ones provided in the theme package then clear any caching installed, to rule out a plugin conflict. Then test to see if the website displays as intended on mobile.
Thanks
Hi,
I want to add more menus on the mobile page with webpage links.
Is it possible to make mobile menu different from PC main menu?
or are there any ways I can hide all the added mobile menus from PC page?
My site is : http://blog.newswire.co.kr
Thanks,

I have noticed a weird behavior on my website, the mobile theme is activated but there are times it is not working and instead, the desktop version is the one that shows. Happens much often and I don’t know how to resolve this.
I like the mobile theme interface and how fast it loads rather than the version of the desktop which loads to about 70% and stops there for like 10 seconds before completing the load.
Please help
Hi Catalin.
As I understand, the mobile theme is only available for the Newspaper theme, but not for the Newsmag one (the one we’re using). Anyway, the custom CSS code, is used to customize the mobile view, and the problem is that the images are no clickable anymore (links to the post url are removed). Could you please indicate us how to put back these links? Thank you.
Hi,
It seems that maybe you have the mobile theme plugin activated, and it is not functioning properly for some reason. That is why there are two versions of styles displayed. If the plugin is active, there should be only version displayed on mobile devices, the mobile version. The mobile theme does not have the lightbox feature also.
You could simply deactivate the mobile theme from the plugins section, this is an optional plugin. The theme is fully responsive and will adapt by default for best results on all devices. Then you will always have the same content and style from desktop displayed, and the lightbox feature.
Thanks
Hi,
One way would be to edit the footer file from the mobile theme folder
– https://www.screencast.com/t/QVemYoHfCo
And comment or remove the code that handles the logo and description in the footer, when using the mobile theme plugin
– https://www.screencast.com/t/LCx8QoXy
– https://www.screencast.com/t/mAzuadGi
Another way would be to simply hide them with some Css like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/PFUdCIt1P
This is the code, if you decide to use it it must be entered in Theme panel->Mobile theme->Custom Css section
.td-mobile-footer-wrap {
display:none;
}
If this is not what you wanted or the code is not working properly for you, please let me know.
Thanks
