wp booster error: td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: td_remote_cache is not set.
wp booster error: Missing parameter: ‘file’

Also…
as noted in couple of my optimization threads the only way to remove ‘render blocking’ resources for mobile is to actually move the style.css to footer, de-enqueue it from header, and then manually insert the critical CSS in the header.php file manually (use a critical css generator to do this task). This is how I do it.

That is the broad stroke, but something you can explore on your own time. 🙂

I am a great fun of Newspaper theme. I love the theme and would recommend it to anyone who wants a theme so perfect. Though I have concerns, my website does not work as expected on Opera Mini Browser. For any user this will be ok, but for me, 80% of my traffic is on mobile and the largest part of that comes through Opera Mini.

I have been trying to find a reason for the High Bounce Rate only to discover that the website does not display content on Opera Mini browser. Please I don’t want to look for another theme. Someone kindly look at this and give me a viable option on how to resolve the problem.

Thank you in advance

Hello itourisme,

If you are using the mobile theme you will have to set your main menu as you like from the panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/Sth6v2EunKYc Otherwise, if you are using the general responsive mobile version, please notice that you will have to do one more change, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/3EEpNn2jJMX

Thanks for your message!

Hi,

We know about these issue with Wp Super Cache plugin, there is a plugin issue and we already reported it to the plugin’s author. Please check this topic for more details – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-problems-3/

Thanks!

Hello,

This is because you use the mobile theme. The author box was created using visual composer. The mobile theme does not use visual composer. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you!

Hi

Glad you have manged to sort this out in the end and you have successfully moved the scripts to page’s bottom.
I’ve checked your site again with google page speed tool and the render blocking resources are reported only for mobile devices, even if they are loaded in footer: http://screencast.com/t/yYwtOR38Chttp://screencast.com/t/EjNAHbMBXWG2
Google is very restrictive when it comes about mobile page speed and some things may be interpreted different then for desktop. The Speed Booster plugin does its job and moves those scripts at page’s bottom but it can’t change how google generate the reports. We know about this situation and indeed it’s very strange but we can’t do much about it. The theme and plugins control only page’s html, not google’s algorithm in page speed regard.

Thanks!

I’ve already done this but the rev slider is not in the folder you specified. In the plugin folder I only have: Js-composer, social counter, mobile plugin and speed-booster… Nothing else
Thanks

Salut RaulCalin,

Hello bazzer7rose,

I have inspected your website and I noticed that you are using some untested plugins which can interfere with the theme code and which can cause a lot of unknown issues. Please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, I have checked your console tab and you have some warnings and errors which might be generated by your untested plugins. As a default state, the theme works like a charm and until now we haven’t encountered any issue with the search module to mobile mode.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,
The mobile theme plugin can be activated as any other plugin by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
We removed the insall now button because lots of people installed the mobile theme plugin without knowing what it does. We had to make sure people understood the theme is responsive without the mobile theme and that users read the guide before using the plugin
Thank you!

Hi tagdiv,

I’m in trouble of issue with WP Super Cache and theme Newspaper.
My case is:
– I delete all cache
– I go to a post from a desktop. Cache generates.
– I go to a post from a mobile, my website renders desktop view. => system should generate mobile cache instead, and render mobile view.

I have follow this post and CHECKED on mobile supports. https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Any suggestion for me? My website is http://quabongvang.vn/

Thanks,
Thai

Hello Leofitz,

Unfortunately, I cannot compare both websites because on this website here -> http://newstest.meta-morphos.es/ you are using the Mobile Theme and on the mobile mode has the totally different layout. Also, please try to get rid of it all the custom implementation and try the theme like at default settings. The Revolution Slider is fully optimized for mobile mode. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them and leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. If you want to display more levels in the theme and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi Catalin,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I understand that the Mega Menu is not working on mobile, but it seems to me like there is no separation between the source of the desktop and mobile menu, meaning while I have now successfully hidden the second level categories in the desktop menu, they are still displaying in the mobile menu.

Is it possible to separate the two and specify one menu for the desktop version (the Mega Menu) and one menu for the mobile version?

or

Can I somehow hide the second level categories in the mobile menu?

Thanks!
Peter

Hello itourisme,

Please notice that the Mega Menu feature is not working for Mobile devices, but only for desktop mode. In that way has been designed our theme and this is the normal behaviour for it. If you refer to something else, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello ijammedia,

Thanks for reaching us! Please keep in mind that our Mobile Theme has a special template when you are using the Smart List which has some different behaviour than the normal theme. This is not an issue, but this is just a theme behaviour with mobile theme activated. So, if you are unhappy with this behaviour, you can disable the mobile plugin and the theme will be switched to the normal theme.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi @stigr,
Is not a bug and it has never been. I visit your site on mobile and works well (as it should).
Clear your cache from the mobile browser & try again

On mobile, when hitting the Facebook Icon in my footer, I end up in Google Search, why?

Is it a bug?

I have set my url correctly in the social settings, because it works fine when on desktop!

I end up on my Facebook Page, when clicking the Facebook Social Icon, in the footer of my page, when testing from desktop.

This is my site: http://www.goneviral.no
