Hi,
I have checked your site on desktop and mobile but could not find any issues. The gap you mentioned is not there. please test again and see if the problem is still present or it was a caching issue and it got cleared since then thus resolving the problem
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello,
I’m not sure where ‘the view full site’ message comes from as our theme has no such button or message. It’s not there at the moment when I check your site. I assume it was the mobile theme of jetpack so please remove this feature as it is known to cause issues with our theme.
Thank you!
Hi,
I have tested this and it worked for me on the first try: http://screencast.com/t/IVPUy9uh On mobile it was the same. Maybe there was a caching issue and since then got cleared. Please test this again and let us know if you still have trouble with it.
Thank you!
Hi guys,
We are having some issues with my mobile page – we could customize everything (for the web) as per normal. However, for the mobile view (tagDiv mobile plugin), we were not able to customize anything). Even the logo (which we changed under headers) is not showing. Also the background color didn’t change at all. The only thing that change were the menus.
We also see “enable thumb nails from Theme panel” which was already enabled by default. We tried “regenerating thumbnail” thought the plugin too.
I am not sure what we are doing wrongly here – any thoughts?
Visit http://beep.sg (on the phone for details).
Don’t think this is a cache issue – (we removed cloudflare, super cache and waited a few hours on incognito)

I noticed the Whatsapp function in mobile no longer adds the image thumbnail from the post, only the title and excerpt. It was working before. I installed Easy Social Share plugin so not sure if it that could be the issue. Any ideas where to look at?
Thanks
buna dimineata,
Multumesc.
:))) follow :
1. Theme panel
2. Theme colors
3. Mobile menu / mobile search
4. Menu Bar – Icons color – select black !
All done !
Hi,
When I post a new article and someone opens it from a laptop browser, the article page seems to appear in a ‘mobile theme format’.
Also my paragraphs are not represented in the published page.
http://animal-welfare.org/famous-vegan-celebrities-woody-harrelson/.
It only happens in new articles, a relative short period after posting. The second screenshot is from the ‘old’ kellogs article, it has the normal appearence. I have tested more than one browser (chrome and firefox) the bug is the same. I have noticed that last week for first time, thought that it was something random, but it’s not.
If you post a new article or update an old one, the ‘bug’ happens.
The bug I noticed is on the desktop version of the site.
When you open the new or updated article.
Only for a sort period of time, say 30 min or more .
But not from the browser you made the changes.
So, I want to remove Google fonts, stop them being loaded in page head, and use default mobile friendly font stack, also works for desktop:
——- PART 2 / FONT SWAP;
remove default Google Fonts in theme and loaded externally ——–
**/theme/includes/td_config.php
/remove google font calls for defalt roboto and open sans
lines 3247-3259 — remove:

*/
td_global::$default_google_fonts_list = array (
'438' => array(
'css_style_id' => 'google_font_open_sans',
'url' => td_global::$http_or_https . '://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:300,400,600,700'

'url' => td_global::$http_or_https . '://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto:400,300,700,700italic,400italic,300italic'
),
);

as above, same font stack, or choose a serif stack for replacing Roboto.
this isn’t best choice, but option:
font-family: Rockwell, Georgia, Times, "Times New Roman", serif;

REMINDER: these haxx need to be done EVERY theme update; keep record and backup of your files in sub-folder on your work PC/Mac to easily redo this as needed for future versions of Newsmag (if you want… or not, won’t matter to me either way … just sayin….) 🙂
hi, i’m using the latest version of themeforest and wp. When i am surfing with mobile in my website, mobile theme does not work randomly.
any suggestions?

Some of my posts (Not everyone) are displayed as mobile on desktop mode!
Like this:
http://www.giochi-da-tavolo.it/migliori-giochi-di-societa/
This is a real problem that could affect any other site using Newspaper…
How can solve this issue??
Thanks!!
Well, apparently this is not just an issue with mobile theme.
Even if I disable the mobile theme and access the page on iPhone 6s on portrait mode, it still shows that gap. Doesn’t happen in landscape mode
Hi,
I’m using the Newspaper theme (latest version)
I have activated the mobile theme on my site (www.beingfilipino.com) and noticed that when the sticky menu is activated (always, mobile or any other option), the page is re-sized (in terms of width). So here is what happens-
1. Mobile theme is activated and sticky menu is enabled always
2. I’m testing this on iPhone 6s in portrait mode
3. Load the site, the page loads and everything is fine. The content is displayed to the full width of the screen.
4. The issue starts when scrolling
5. I scroll down and then scroll up. When scrolling up, somehow the width of the container is changed due to the sticky menu.
6. if you scroll up to the very top, you’ll notice that the actual header menu is cut off on the right, meaning it has some white space at the end and the page content also doesn’t use the full width available.
here’s what i mean

I tried to change some of the css properties to show max-width, but didn’t help.
Could you help me pls???
Hi, folks
I’m “re-tuning” the NM 3.1 – having moved from v2 (finally!). Working great with the beta TD Composer so far, but barely touched that.
I’m looking to completely remove these loading from theme:
http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans%3A300%2C400%2C600%2C700&ver=4.6
http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto%3A400%2C300%2C700%2C700italic%2C400italic%2C300italic&ver=4.6
and instead use the new default font stack used by WordPress 4.6x in place of Open Sans.
This new font stack is a little better than the one I have been using (noted in my epic optimization tutorial thread near the end) as it is tuned for modern mobile devices much better than my desktop focused version:
font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Segoe UI", Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, "Helvetica Neue", sans-serif;
(REF: https://make.wordpress.org/core/2016/07/07/native-fonts-in-4-6/ )
This would make a nice “default” setup for Newsmag, “unless Google fonts chosen,” vs default having Google fonts chosen.
In any case, if you can help me out by pointing me at the correct files to tweak to make this change would be awesome. Things have moved around a bit, so the old search/replace in style.css not quite same method now 🙂
I have no problem hacking a core file to remove Google font calls, as I’m prepared to do that each theme update for my other tweaks.
THANKS!
Actually not solved after all, the original problem is still happening. How do I stop the mobile version of the site being hidden behind a “view full site” option?
The mobile version of my website http://www.concrete-online.co.uk/ is not loading correctly. It shows a mess of a page with barely any graphics on it, and you have to click “view full site” at the bottom of the page to see the actual website. How do I make it so that the actual site shows up straight away? Thank you.
HI, I don’t want to use the mobile theme though as i don’t have any recent posts to display. I just want a menu on the normal website for mobile?
Hi Bogdan,
Thanks for your quick reply and guidance. I have followed your suggestions and was successful yesterday in updating the theme for correct mobile theme display for my site. The mobile site version is working fine now.
Best Regards,
Haj
Hi
Please provide your site url so we can have a closer look at thi issue and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Meanwhile make sure that you have a menu set for mobile devices: http://screencast.com/t/v2J3etMMV More details about theme how to create a menu can be found here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/main-menu/
Thanks!
Hi,
My menu doest not seem to appear on mobile, it just shows a search bar? Any ideas?
Hello,
In order to upload just the fix for the mobile theme you will have to download the theme package and replace the “mobile” folder from the main theme folder: http://screencast.com/t/3CySFBUoC
Thank you!
Hi
I assume that you want to move post’s title to the top of slide block. To achieve that try this css in theme panel > custom code> custom css: http://screencast.com/t/uTJjm4qD6g
.td-theme-slider .slide-meta {
top: 16px;
}
To reduce slide’s height you can use this css:
@media(min-width: 768px){
.td-theme-slider.iosSlider-col-3 {
height: 500px!important;
}
}
To reduce the font size on mobile try this code: http://screencast.com/t/OP5LVsoJ
@media(max-width: 768px){.td-theme-slider.iosSlider-col-2 .td-module-title a, .td-theme-slider.iosSlider-col-3 .td-module-title a {
font-size: 15px!important;
line-height: 17px!important;
}
}
I hope this helps.
Thanks!
Hi,
Thanks for letting us know! I have added it on our list and it will be fixed in a future theme update.
Please try this custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css for a quick fix – http://screencast.com/t/KEYpJ1Um
#td-mobile-nav .td-menu-socials {
height: auto;
}
Thanks!
Is it enough to replace the mobile Theme Plugin?
Which version is running without the problems? 7.3
Best,
Marvin
HI
Unfortunately unique article option is not available on mobile theme for the moment, sorry. The mobile theme displays three posts from Featured category then a list with latest articles. If Featured category does not contains any posts you will have unique article on mobile pages. For the moment this is the only solution.
Thanks!
