3) Your problem originates from the WP recent posts widget on your page. Try to re-add this widget to your page because it is causing problems in the mobile version. you have a custom class set to it. Try to remove it and any css customization applied to it.
4) Use this custom css if you do not want to change the theme accent color:

I am just wondering then you have planned to release an update for the theme?
The main problems for me is:
– The fixed navigation on mobile is not staying fixed after the new iPhone update.
– There are problems with the BIG grids on Safari. I am using “BIG grid 6” and there are white lines showing after each images when hovering the grid.
Then I also wonder if you are planning any solution for retina displays? On newsmag the smaller thumbnails are very blurry on retina devices. This could maybe be solved by a responsive image solution or something similar.

Yes is fine if you resize browser like you did. But if you look that on mobile phone it is not fine. Icon is black, or no icon at all.
Regarding the flush calls, since that’s in TGM I don’t know if that counts. Doesn’t seem to me that code is run on every front end page load to throw W3TC off. But you tell me?
Right now I’m using W3TC with just the reverse proxy, browser, and database cache modules active. That’s with a very lightly applied Varnish cache (doesn’t do much for WP without page caching activated), apache, nginx, and APC running. It’s actually a smaller server at the moment, but handled some better loads yesterday. Using SSDs. I’m going to upgrade it in the next week or so, which will help.
My main concern with speed for mobile (more than half my traffic is mobile) and a caching plugin that doesn’t hold stale pages. WPSC tends to not update the front page cache for half an hour after a new post is published. I’ve used it with Newspaper.

This should be a very simple thing to do but currently I can’t find anywhere in the Newspaper Theme Panel where you can change the colour of the text on the main menu header. I can change the search icon and the menu icon (on mobile) from black to white but not the text itself.
Any suggestions?

I see now what you mean and i do not think visual composer was meant to work from a mobile device. We tried adding elements with VC from a galaxy S4, S3, S2, or from other mobile phones we have but we could not add a single element to the page. Furthermore using visual composer on posts is not tested with our theme and is known to cause issues.

It seems emulators are not always right. I only saw the error when i set it to simulate an iphone (on a mobile device the error was there) I also saw that the margin gets a bit cut off as well. Please use this custom CSS to adjust the line-height and the margins:

I’ve checked your site ( http://westbridgfordwire.com/) and i saw the problem on mobile. These errors comes from another plugin when you are using and also you have some errors in console – http://screencast.com/t/e2kcSwW86q
Please disable all the active plugins except Visual Composer and try it again.
