Hello I am still having a problem with the Masonry Grid on the mobile phone display. When I try it on an iPhone 5s on Safari and Google Chrome everything loads beautifully until the Masonry Grid where it displays off to the left in a thin column.
If you are going to test it I would appreciate you test it with my website which is http://www.rockshot.co.uk
I have tried the theme without plugins (leaving the Visual Composer). But it still does the same thing.
I am running Visual Composer 4.7.4 but I see that version 4.8 is available from the plug-in author but not through you?
I have had this problem for two weeks now and no fix in yet. I have not done any code adjustments or added css.
Can you please help?
Thanks
S
I mostly use Template 7 but I love Template 8 – but 8 seems to corrupt on mobile -the demo looks perfect on mobile – but when I use it on my site it creates a small strip of the body text to the left third of the screen (smartphone) – the large image is on the right hand two thirds. Tablet and desktop all fine. Would love to know if there’s a fix for this.
No cache no cdn no lazy load
Best wishes
Pat
Hi
I’ve checked your site and the new mobile icon is displayed fine: http://screencast.com/t/NiVkA7Zfk7k If you’re referring at the delay, that is caused because first time it’s loaded the main css from the style.css, than the custom css. To avoid that delay you can insert the code directly in style.css file: http://screencast.com/t/S753z26v43f
Thanks!
No. Take a closer look here. On mobile.
Hi
Sorry about that,
Replace the previous css with this one, it should work fine:
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-icon-mobile:before {
content: '\2630'!important;
font-size: 40px;
}
}
Thanks!
That icon work when I resize the browser, but on mobile not working. Not icon at all.I have the code in custom css.
.td-icon-mobile:before {
content: '\2630';
font-size: 40px;
}
Alin, I tried but not able to figure out.
Please visit http://www.viralbae.com and try to create post with vc element.
Note: Only the second tab in vc elements not working( example: design options). This is applicable for mobile only.
Thanks!
Hi, earlier i posted this https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/newsmag-home-page-need-help/ because i needed some help to build my home page, now i have built it but the problem is that the “navbar”(Six Dots which you click and then category appears, hope it’s called navbar, if not then you know what i mean) for mobile is just below the logo and it can’t be tapped without tapping the logo which redirects to the homepage and it also looks very awkward , so how can i correct it so those 6 dots which you click and the menus appear in cellphones are separate from the logo, meaning there’s ample space between them. Here you can check the tapping error which i am talking about.
check this screen shot http://postimg.org/image/rp9yoqodj/ or the link below.
2. Another thing i noticed that after i had built my homepage and selecting it from settings > readings, i am no longer able to change the header style in newsmag. i mean it does change it but the website remains the same and no difference appears..
Thanks!
The page looks great on a web browser and a mobile device.
The problem is when you are logged into your Facebook account and then launch the story. So, do the following from your mobile phone:
1. Open Facebook App
2. Go to this page “Coronado Island” (https://www.facebook.com/coronadoisland)
3. Open the story of girl with candy bars
If you are looking at that story from the Facebook App on a mobile device, the photos don’t display.
That is the problem.
Hi
I’ve test this on my site and the trademark character is displayed fine on mobile devices: http://screencast.com/t/5pPyxwON I suspect that you have this issue because of a different css which applies on that character. Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again. If the problem persist please provide a link so I can inspect it closer.
Thanks!
Hi, thinking to have footer menu assigned to mobile main menu so it is opened as mobile menu. Now it is only main menu as mobile menu.
Hi,
Not sure what you mean, the subfooter menu is displayed on mobiles – http://screencast.com/t/DM0l12ZnbWb8
Thanks!
Hello,
There is no setting to increase site width. Our theme works with a grid layout and increasing the width of the site will impact the blocks and other elements on your website creating undesired effects. It can be done with CSS but that means you have to style all the elements to fit the new wider layout.
(The mobile version of the site is already at full width: http://screencast.com/t/HGrc026b)
We hope in a future update we can implement a setting for width to our theme.
Thank you!
Hi,
You cannot load another submenu for mobile devices. A solution is to add the submenu as usually for the menu item that it is megamenu and hide it only for tablets and desktop. So for mobile it will look the same – http://screencast.com/t/a6XrmiMi
The result in this point is – http://screencast.com/t/x1QZJm2Ahb so you can use media queries to hide the subitems on for tablets and desktop – http://screencast.com/t/BfK7I47VU
Result on mobile – http://screencast.com/t/wYEpuZKBNcTj
@media(min-width: 768px) {
.menu-item-3994 .sub-menu > .td-normal-menu {
display: none;
}
}
Thanks!
Hi
The theme doesn’t have a block with a two columns on mobile devices. I’ve found a solution by modifying the block’s 7 layout: http://screencast.com/t/cDzrKOTe but I test this layout only on standard mobile format and I don’t know how will work on different mobile version.
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td_block_7 .td-block-span6 {
width: 50%!important;
}
.td_block_7 .item-details {
margin-left: 0;
margin-top: 85px;
}
}
Hope this help.
Thanks!
Hi
You can change the mobile icon using this css in theme panel > custom css: http://screencast.com/t/Byv6tGVpklgv
.td-icon-mobile:before {
content: '\2630';
font-size: 35px;
}
You can increase or decrease the font size value if you want a different size for the icon.
Thanks!
Help! We post a lot of our stories on our FB page here: https://www.facebook.com/coronadoisland
If you are on mobile and you click thru to the stories, the images are NOT loading. Why? They load fine when they are on mobile safari or other browsers, but if you are clicking from Facebook, the images are blank.
Is this a settings issue or FB issue?
Is it possible to have footer menu also seen on mobile version?
Thanks

How to increase the width of home page / reduce the white space in the both sides of the page?
Site – yarlcnn[.]lk
Sure. WordPress doesn’t have an option like that. You could likely setup some custom CSS with a javascript sniffer to swap out a different stylesheet without the mobile elements, much like the commonly used js which was used by many to swap out stylesheets to load different size fonts/sizes dynamically awhile ago.
Yes, you could setup a “custom” “page” template which loads an alternate stylesheet without the @media queries for mobile, so that there are no mobile styles at all. Just create new template for a page like “custompage” and then use normal WordPress practice for the custom page templates for that.
See the WordPress codex on how to build a custom page template to load automatically for a specific page, such either by name or page ID. For posts it’s trickier.
Much simpler to use a browser like Chrome where you can specify to “request desktop” version.
You might also be able to use built-in WordPress “if/then” logic to do something like “if post ID XXX, load style2.css, else load style.css” — but then you’d have another if/then query on every page; might work if it’s not a permanent thing. See WordPress codex on how to construct an if/then statement in your header.php template to do that. Then just clone the default stylesheet and remove all the @media queries for mobile.
Hello,
I’d like to change the way grids appear on mobile phones – to be more precisely, I’d like to make all the images the same specified height.
Is there a simple way to achieve that? I managed to do so by adding CSS styles, but noticed that by doing so some of the images get distorted. Any advise would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Still the font size in mobile dint change.
Hi Alin,
Is there any way where I can load different Sub menu in PC and Mobile??.So that this problem can be solved
Thanks,
