This is how the Big Grid block was designed for mobile device, unfortunately there is no option to change it display only with custom modifications(css) and it is not so easy, sorry!

Thanks for feedback. One more followup.
If we have a header banner next to the logo, I can go to my mobile and see that one.
If I have two side by side banners UNDER the navigation (using the code above), where on mobile will those turn up?
If I put in 10 side banner ads, where will those show up on mobile?
Ideally, the 3 banners by the navigation show up at top of mobile…then content, then the 10 side banners followed by footer banner, etc.
Is that correct? Is there a mobile test site where I can see where all the banners on a single homepage or post page show up?

Suddenly I have seen that the Author avatar image is not in center aligned in mobile views. By default it was in center but now it has changes to the left.
Can anyone help me to fix it.

I have both (1)320×100 adsense code and (2) responsive adsense code
How do you configure the theme options to display a 320×100 (not responsive) adsense ad on mobile devices as the first thing on the page (below the nav bar and above the title of the post) so it would be:
NAV BAR (hamburger nav / logo / search icon)
320×100 adsense ad

And then at the same time use a responsive adsense unit for the header on tablet/desktop versions of the site? Right now I have the responsive adsense unit in theme panel > ads > header and know I can disable it on mobile by switching off “Mobile”. Theme docs say I shouldnt use this, but perhaps it makes sense in this situation?

Average size for a complex theme is actually about 550KB these days as it combines multiple sizes, shapes, options, layouts, mobile/responsive, etc.
Visual composer is also a bit big.
However the actual footprint is much smaller for web browser via gzip and also with caching in the cloud (e.g., Chrome will cache your data if enough hits come from Chrome users, etc.).
You can also manually “minify” the main CSS file using the tips/tricks from my sticky post on site optimization.
But yes, it’s a bit big for all those features people have asked for (demanded?) — so, there is a lot going on, but it’s better than loading 10 diff. CSS files as it’s actually more efficient for one “packet” …
and some data is actually inlined automatically to help with pagespeed/rating.
There was a post exchange a while back for v4 where I’d asked about what we could “take out” if not using bbpress, woocommerce, multisite, or other things to “trim it” and that would be a good tutorial for Radu or somebody to tackle in a
“what can I take out of the main CSS file”
“what can I take out of the main includes-functions file”
as those are the two big payloads other than visual composer.

Hi,
Newspaper has an fixed grid layout, responsive as it is fluid and styled for desktop/tables/mobile screens. If you add your banners in the sidebar they should be displayed fine on mobile device. If your banner are outside the content, you need custom modifications, as the theme doesn’t have an option to add them like this. We would have gladly made it for you but for the moment we cannot offer custom work, sorry.

I have Woocommerce (WC) installed and I’ve been testing product, cart and checkout modifications for the last two days. So far I have come across a few decent plugins and I haven’t had to alter the core theme or WC code.
However, now that I’m testing its functionality on mobile (my iPhone 5S so far), I’ve found that “add to cart” isn’t working on the device.
When I tap “add to cart” the page refreshes and but nothing else happens… I remain on the product page, even though I chose the WC setting to redirect to the Cart after adding a product. A brief online search led me to believe that this could be happening due to the different product types, however, both simple and variable products present with this issue.
When I click refresh, I see the message “are you sure you want to submit this form again.” Does this imply that the “add to cart” function was never completed?
Further, I deactivated all plugins except WC and Visual Composer (thinking that maybe a 3rd party plugin was interfering with functionality)… however, the problem persists even with this stripped down version of the site.
Some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That got rid of the line. Thank you! However, I have a small issue with the header text now: the h1 title has moved to near the top of the header. Is there a way to add some padding to the top of the title for mobile display only (ipod)? (the text on my laptop screen is still fine).

When we view the theme on a mobile phone, the top header banner shows up just fine. We plan on having 14 side banner ads that run throughout the websites (on on the right column).
Where do we modify the code so that we can choose to include these ads in the mobile version?
Lastly, can we choose to have them show up after a post verses before a post on mobile? Not sure where to modify that code to include side banner ads or how to show where they show up within the mobile layout.

We are using the ‘default header style’ so that we can put a 728×90 ad to the right of the logo. Works great for mobile as well since the header banner shows up there too. However, we also need to put two banners in the main column under the navigation (see screencap below).
Two questions:
1. Where do we put the ad code so that the two ads under the navigation show up all the time on pages accept when you scroll down and get just the menu?
2. These ‘under nav ads’ also need to show up on mobile devices
When I access my site by mobile, the pages deviated to left a little. Where can I justify it?

The more article box was not designed to be displayed on mobile device. It is hidden via css – http://screencast.com/t/Gc2fcp1g
If you want to enable it you will have to edit the style.css to remove this code – http://screencast.com/t/UsMckM1mR
Or you can overwrite it using more specific target – http://screencast.com/t/jckIue23X50x just paste this custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css and it should appear:

I have the more articles box enabled in the theme panel, however it does not show on the mobile site when I access it from my phone. I just want to confirm is it disabled as a whole in mobile. Is there any way to force it to appear it on mobile?

I removed the background color and also used background-repeat on the image (which helped on large screens), but the same issue exists on the iPod. Is there some kind of gradient overlay on the header that doesn’t stretch on mobile devices?

Sorry about that, I provided the right solution but with wrong details. The modification I indicated above disable the sticky menu for desktop, but that remain active for mobile devices.

To deactivate the code from mobile devices you will need a script which detects the screen’s width and deactivate the code according by device’s size. This is a complex task and if you don’t know how to do it yourself my advice is to look for a freelancer from sites like http://studio.envato.com/ to do it for you as we cannot offer any custom work at this moment, sorry.
