Hi Marius,
I’ve made the same thoughts as @jf77 and ask how I can manage that. For example: an advertiser wants a leaderboard banner on desktop and pad devices but not on mobile phone. At the same time another client wants a small leaderboard banner on top (header ad 320×50 px) only on mobile phones.
In other words, I want to sell a small leaderboard banner (header ad) for mobile phones always additional and/or individually. That’s why makes an additional slot for mobile phones sense.

I have done everything as it says. Add code “add_filter( ‘jpeg_quality’, create_function( ”, ‘return 50;’ ) );” and run reg.thumb plugin. After that I run g. pagespeed, but the score was the same as previous mobile:52 / desktop:67 and I still get the message about optimazing images. It looks that they still weren’t optimized.

But then I tried another thing. I changed my expire headers in .httaccess with your expire headers you have posted in this post: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/what-is-your-googlespeed-value/ and WOW!!! after I run g. pagespeed test I saw complitely diferent score: mobile:72 / desktop:82 — THAT IS FANTASTIC FOR ME!!! (I am on shared hosting for 5$ a month) — and when I test my page speed with google I have everything enabled and all ads on the site, so that new score is fantastic for me!!!

Yikes! Well, I guess the search is still on for that. Still, most people wanting to build an app for iTunes, etc., are doing so for commercial reasons and not a blog. So, it would cost more than that to pay somebody to build the code. Sooo….. I guess not awful. $199 I could see for something … $849, I’d have to really have a commercial thing happening where I was expecting to sell stuff.

Note that SOME folks will do conversions, but will take a “cut’ of each sale.

I think it’s simpler to use Adobe’s commercial tools? They also charge a fee but take care of the whole process. I only skimmed that so not sure all the specifics.

Seems a hot topic right now online …
