I tested it on your site and reproduced it Saijo.

Unfortunately, I think the “Slide Out Menu” option is disabled on the demo site, as I can’t get it to work.

Granted, I’m using an iPhone, so it’s easy to mix up the “Menu swipe” with the “Go Back One Page” swipe, but I tried multiple times on the demo site and can’t get the menu to slide out…

Thanks adgower.
Unfortunately I’m not a CSS expert 🙂
Anyway, I would like to hear from dev team about the solution.

Thanks in advance.

Slide on mobile ( tested on Android ) slides out the menu but then the user has to scroll all the way to the top … :(, clicking on the menu icon works properly and slides out the menu and auto scrolls tot he top.

can we get the same effect for the slide action ?

Hi i try to improve my web speed but is more harder than i think first. I use GT Metrix, Pingdom and Google Pagespeed, is this one (google) i have 54/100 for mobile ( so bad ) and 84/100 ( not bad).

So how i can do to improve this?? Also my page size is soooo big 3,5 MB. I optimize all the images but i dont what can i do to reduce this??

Pingdom details:

Haven’t tackled that yet. I just turned off and removed the revolution slider code and plugin, to solve that for the time being. (sigh)

If you’re not using it, turn off the plugin and that should solve it.

If you’re using the slider, then, the only real way to fix that is to combine the CSS files into *one* CSS file (I actually also manually minified my main style.css for instance).

Not doing anything more until stable v3 theme (e.g., ahem … 3.01 or 3.02 ?), since I don’t want to redo anything again at this point until v3 is stable for the stuff we use.

I also manually removed reference to google fonts from the functions.php on one site, and did search/replace in the style.css to replace all Google fonts with web-safe fonts, just to see what happened. Solved couple of PageSpeed Insights hold-ups.

Anyway…”80″ for mobile right now is actually the minimum to not suck, frankly, and 95 is right there (you’ll notice it will vary from 92-96 depending on the page content, placement of the moon, and whether your cat is asleep…).

Glad all my little tidbits are helping somebody. You’ll be seeing less and less of me around here, but very glad it’s been useful !

Wonderful update! Just checking it out!

So far I have found two issues… The Head menu is no longer “Sticky” and it stopped working on mobile phones

may have to make the change the z level to ensure it is on top.

You could try looking in the style.css located in the theme folder

CSS

You could try setting the background image to a separate logo LINK

I did. My logo looks good on PC, but it includes some text and graphics, so when theme resize it, it doesn’t look good on mobile. I want to make simpler version.

Did you follow the suggest size requirements/suggestions for the logo? I have no problem on mobile and desktop screens.

Theme Panel -> Header -> Logo

Logo

Hi. Could you please suggest me how to insert a different logo for mobile users? Currently your theme resizing the main logo and inserting it to the right side on mobile screen. My logo doesn’t look good on mobile screen so I want to make it more neat.

Thanks

You should just disable the header ad, as I believe that is what is against their policy.

Someone clarify if I am wrong.

You can easily select disable on mobile, on the latest update (V3)

Thanks,
Alex

Hi. If I insert a responsive adsense ad to the header, on mobile devices it supposed to show as 320×50, but instead it is showing as square (300×250) – this is against their policy.
Can you please point me out what should I change in order to show 320×50 ad on mobile devices?

Thanks in advance!

thanks for your awesome support on here @christopher

“Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content”
It’s the only error I have left on PageSpeed Insights. Currently at 80/100 mobile and 95/100 desktop.

“Your page has 2 blocking script resources and 3 blocking CSS resources. This causes a delay in rendering your page.”
All those are related to Slider Revolution, not the theme. That’s why I’m curios how you can get rid of them. Can you get these removed by adding stuff to .htaccess? Or some server setting?

Best tip on slider, is optimize the heck out of the images used.

Also be aware that the mobile ratings have all gone down as they are even penalizing for the “tap area” for things like breadcrumbs now … our business site just dropped many points due to the breadcrumbs being “too small” on an information page. Sheesh. This is what I’m working on now. The mobile stuff I think Google is going a little overboard on, and also “assuming” everybody is going to only view a website in vertical mode vs landscape and not rating it both ways. They also assume everybody has the smallest phone from 3 years ago, vs the larger phones everybody is getting now, or the higher resolution of retina, etc. If you’re suddenly “under 80” again — on mobile — it’s not just you. My shtml/ssi based site which was fine, is now not due to this kind of shenanigans.
(sorry, rant over …)
