Hello again and thanks for your great support. I am not using – tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin , I am just using the site responsive view. It looks pretty good in a phone or tablet. The problem that I am running into is that the home page looks fine but when I click on any of the pages in my phone they look terrible. I have attached a screenshot – https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/53945479?key=fbdbdef712ec8e599d3e9e8672f92366

What do I need to do ?

Hello,

I see that you now disable the mobile theme plugin. Now to set the logo, please edit with tagDiv Composer, select the viewport on phone, select the header logo and change it => https://i.imgur.com/cR7F0v4.png

Thank you!

Thanks for your reply. I’ve checked the logo settings in the mobile theme panel, but the category isn’t displaying as expected. So, what is the reason?

Hello,

I just checked now, and you have disabled the mobile theme from homepage. Do you want to use it? If yes, then please check the logo from Theme Panel -> Mobile theme -> header to have your logo on the posts, categories, etc. -> https://i.imgur.com/YStg9po.png

Thank you!

Hello!

Use the shortcode called Ad box and configure your ad into the shortcode’s options.
You can hide it on desktop and tablet viewport and make it visible only on mobile: https://app.screencast.com/ocBb9hWOVZRPs?conversation=hTxKinRUQnBBLCqE2JpJlM
Also, you can build a mobile page, copy homepage content, and add your ads with the help of the Ad box too. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages

Thank you!

Hello,

You can use only mobile theme without AMP, or create a mobile page.
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use; for this , you need to convert the header and footer -> https://www.screencast.com/t/HrjOBNayd to edit with tagdiv Composer.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

Thank you!

I’m using the Newspaper theme and I’d like to display ads on the homepage, but only for mobile devices (phones). I want to make sure these ads are not shown on desktop.

I’m using the built-in tagDiv Composer (visual editor), but I can’t figure out how to set this up properly.

Could someone please help me with the best way to do this?

What’s the best way to make it look “cleaner” on mobile? The design I am working on doesn’t particularly look good when I select the mobile view.

I just want a simple list of articles showing up when accessing via mobile rather than a condensed version of the main site.

Hi Anamaria.

Thanks a lot for getting back on this. That did the trick!

I noticed that the subscribe button was still available on the mobile + mobile sticky header. After removing the button on both headers the code is no longer in the source!

It’s recommended to not use < a href=”tds-switching-plans-wizard/ > in the code to prevent the behaviour I reported. Similar tickets here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/search/tds-switching-plans-wizard/

This button should only link imo to domain.com/tds-switching-plans-wizard. Can this be fixed in a future theme version please?

Thanks a lot.

Hello,

Please make sure you have deleted the button from the desktop header, sticky header, mobile header, and sticky mobile header as well. After that, use the option to remove the URL https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9689846?hl=en -> https://seotesting.com/google-search-console/url-not-found-404-errors/

Thank you!

Hello,

You have a header template from Cloud Library, then you need to edit with tagDiv Composer https://www.screencast.com/t/Y5j6ArY8Ug, select the logo and set there the image, make sure that is set to show and delete the logo text or SVG code-> https://imgur.com/ve11Fwt -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/
For mobile please edit with tagDiv Composer, select the viewport on phone, select the header logo and change it => https://i.imgur.com/cR7F0v4.png
Also, if the logo is in a modal popup, you need to edit that page to change the logo.

Thank you!

When I enable the tagDiv Mobile Theme, changes I’ve made don’t appear correctly on mobile devices. If I disable the mobile theme, the changes do show up, but there are some errors — for example, on single article pages. The only way to make it work is by scrolling down and selecting “exit mobile version,” but this isn’t acceptable for users. I need the mobile version to work properly without requiring any manual action.

Hello everyone,

There hasn’t been anything to ask for a while, but since the last update, I’ve been missing the ad title for the ad boxes. In Germany, however, advertising must be clearly marked. The “Ad” title is missing in all browsers, including the mobile version. How can I make it visible again?

Secondly:
Tag div galleries are displayed distorted. I use WP Rocket – if I completely disable caching for the post, the gallery displays correctly. However, only in the desktop version. If the images are enlarged, they display correctly.

What do I need to configure or exclude in WP Rocket so that this doesn’t happen again?

Regards
Thomas

Hi!

How do I force the AMP versions to load on mobile devices on the Newspaper theme? As it is, the mobile theme comes up even though I have the AMP plugin activated. Thanks!

First, read carefully and try to understand because I wrote plenty of emails to tagDiv, so don’t have much time to repeat and repeat one thing all the time.
Can you tell me how to enable AJAX Live Search without the help of the tagDiv Cloud Library?
From the last 2 versions of the Newspaper theme, you have disabled (invisible) the “Live Search” ON Button from the Theme Panel.
AJAX Live Search works on mobile and wants to be enabled on desktop.
tagDiv Cloud Library: delete the plugin and reinstall it many times without success.
The main thing is I do not use any kind of Cloud Templates, so maybe I don’t need “tagDiv Cloud Library plugin”.
I don’t use a page for a homepage.
I don’t use the child theme.
Only activated tagdiv plugins with no luck because from the last 2 versions of the Newspaper theme, you have disabled (invisible) the “Live Search” ON Button from the Theme Panel.
tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Mobile Theme, and tagDiv Standard Pack are already installed and activated with no luck for “AJAX Live Search”.
If you want to visit my site: SOFTFULLY.COM

I think I changed the default Admin ID 1 in WordPress a few days ago. That might be why the old ID 1 needs to be updated in the database for the tagDiv Cloud Library plugin to work.

My main purpose is to enable AJAX Live Search on the Desktop without the help of the tagDiv Cloud Library plugin.
You have to guide me to enable “AJAX Live Search” manually from theme or plugin files in any way because I have been struggling past 2 months.

Hi,
I tried every tip on here but on the mobile theme plugin the menu structure and search button don’t work. I cached all I can cache, I deleted all mobile pages, I disabled all plugins, but nothing works, the logo also changes color. I did all the tips your support said. Website http://www.theanimalreader.com
Please help, I’ve been trying all day.
Thank you

Hello,
I would like to know how I can resolve these accessibility issues in PageSpeed:
– The background and foreground colors don’t have an adequate contrast ratio.
– Low-contrast text is difficult or impossible for many users to read. Using recognizable link text improves the experience for users with low vision.

Additionally, I also have a CLS issue associated with this message: Media element with no specific size: Aperturas con negras para jugadores de estilo posicional 1

Hello,

@demeter

Please let me know how you upload the logo and what template you use. I recommend using a header template.

Hello,

Please disable the AMP and tagdiv mobile theme plugins. AMP is deprecated as of January 2023-> https://developer.bigcommerce.com/docs/storefront/wordpress/platform-integration/enabling-amp so we don’t longer recommend it.
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
