Hello !

Since you are using the Mobile theme this issue should not be available. Again, this looks like it is going through your CDN. Can you exclude mobile theme from CDN ? Mobile theme was designed to use as few resources as possible just to make sure that it will offer the fastest user experience.

Thank you !

Feels like all my problems are in the mobile view really. I went through and disabled almost everything to make the desktop view fine (but I have to turn some of the things I turned off back on still), but the mobile site just has stuff that doesnt load or loads incorrectly, or doesnt respond

Im having a few issues and I honestly don’t know when they started. Im messing about with settings to try to sort but it feels like putting my finger in a leaky dam.

I haven’t actually made any major changes, everything was just in a holding with plugins/themes being kept up to date but as we became more active again problems that had appeared were more obvious. Right now my issues are:

– 2nd level menu navs dont seem to work, scrolling across or highlighting subsections
– the search option on a browser just doesnt do anything except load the page again with the /?
– the mobile theme/amp is the biggest issue with some previously ok in page plugins no longer loading depending on what amp/mobile setting combination I use but the ones that make it display mean the smartlists do not load or work. Mostly smartlist 4 is most used but it shows the first item on a mobile site and you hit next and it just reloads the page

Im at a loss to figure out where to start because this was running great not so long ago and just seems to have gotten into a state of, I have no idea what has happened.

Did finally find this – hiding in CSS settings of rows and columns, some that only conditionally appear when looking in mobile. Very frustrating to locate – need some helper functions to locate broken references like this!

I see a lot of space between the header and the first paragraph >> https://nimb.ws/Z7UQcv
This can only be seen in the TDC.

On the smartphone the distance is smaller >> https://nimb.ws/5NtUAi

Where does this difference come from? It’s pretty stupid to work like this because you can never rely on the spacing.

(I work with mobile template)

Hello!

On mobile view (Mobile Pages, not responsive or mobile theme), I am receiving a warning about passive listeners:
Does not use passive listeners to improve scrolling performance

Is there any workaround to fix this?

Thanks!

Hello!

Please check our documentation from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
Please note that Mobile Theme and AMP version have only few settings which you can find in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile theme.

Thank you!

Hello,

I think it was a misunderstanding, I didn’t say you have to make a web page but just select how to view the page on mobile => https://www.screencast.com/t/rPDL2cQ10 -> https://www.screencast.com/t/MFE1kB96ecgj

Hope this helps better!

Thank you!

Hello !

I’m sorry for the misunderstanding !

You will need to insert Adsense Auto Ads in Theme panel – Ads – Header ads, that will implement the AUTO ads automatically in your website.

For AMP you will need AMP Auto ads from google and insert them in Theme panel – Mobile Theme – AMP Ads.

I hope this was more helpful !

Thank you !

Hi I followed everything on the guide already. I tested both Mobile+Amp and AMP both options and its still the same. the Amp template replaced my single cloud template on my post. I had to turn off amp on my post to remove that.

any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Hello!

The biggest pro of using mobile pages instead of responsive version is that you have a lot of choices which elements to add to the page and also you can assign the design specifically for mobile. It could be the best idea for the page speed because you will haven’t double content like in responsive version and it contain less elements automatically which can improve a bit your page speed.
Our developers are working to improve the page speed, so we hope in short time we will deliver the improvement in the future updates.

Thank you!

Hi Anamaria,

Many thanks for your reply and the given information.

I had come that far myself with tagDiv but I can’t seem to solve it this way either. I did some testing with a mobile site but came to the conclusion that I don’t want to use a mobile page as it looks better the way I currently have it.

I did make some pages on mobile but deleted those and now on mobile i still can’t seem to get rid of the ‘Classic’.

Any other ideas? Thanks a lot in advance!

Hello!

Please check which option you selected in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile theme -> Mobile settings. Also please read carefully all information about AMP plugin here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/

Hello,

I imported the scuba mobile page and for me looks fine => https://www.screencast.com/t/PcibSsiC7
Please make a test only with tagDiv plugins and see if the problem persists with the mobile page.
Also, send us a link to your website if you don’t have the success to investigate the issue.

Thank you!

I have read quite a bit about the different types of page builds.
Is there an overview of the pros and cons of:
Responsive Design. So for Pages in TDC set everything individually. >> https://prnt.sc/10a4dc9
vs.
Mobile Page > https://nimb.ws/KBe3sO

Which is better for page loading speed?

I don’t mean Mobile Theme Plugin.

hi i am using a custom single template for desktop and responsive for mobile. when i activated amp, the amp template is showing up instead of my custom single template. for example screenshot here: https://imgur.com/Tnukc3N. This template should only appear in amp mode but even without /?amp in the url it is showing that amp template.

Hello,

The changes need to be made on the zone for margin-top on the mobile menu sticky zone => https://www.screencast.com/t/5VwkZInfF
Also, if you unsuccessful you can use this custom CSS which can help you => https://www.screencast.com/t/x1zATgHgu

.td-header-mobile-sticky-wrap {
    top: -2px;
}

Set the code in Theme Panel -> Custom Code -> Advanced CSS -> Phones => https://www.screencast.com/t/rfJpxYOUT3vS

Hope this helps you better!

Thank you!
