Hello guys.
I noticed that by making the window of a post smaller, the font size has an anomalous “middle” way.
I modified both the desktop version and the mobile version with the tagdiv composer, which in fact respond to my requests.
But if I try to make the window smaller from desktop to floating, there is a middle ground that I don’t know how to change (must be a version of the original theme).
How can I change it?
I have attached an image to make myself understood. I want to enlarge the font of the central “shrunk” version, but it is neither desktop nor mobile! (Maybe is “tablets” versions??)

In the mobile theme there are the top-social-buttons and after that buttons there is the possibilty to insert an ad. That I have done including the description -Werbung/Advertisement-. But this ad block receives most of the invalid clicks in my blog. According to the guidlines of AdSense there should be enough space between links (social media buttons) and the ad. So I want to increase the space between the ad and the top social media buttons.
Doing it with CSS within the themepanel always increases the CLS, can please tell me where I have to do it in the style.css of the mobile theme? It just should be done by increasing the margin, but I don’t know where.
Greetings Kathrin
Hi,
Thanks for your fast response.
I have since discovered that it is not the footer of the mobile theme, but the footer of the APM template. Where can I adjust this APM template then?
Hi Vlad
yes I would like to remove those buttons that appear at the beginning of a post in the mobile version

I have put the Amp ads in header-amp file in composer plugin. I have put the AMP auto code in AMP Ads in mobile theme option in theme panel. I have click the AMP on option in adsense dashboard.
I have wait for 3 hours and the ads still not showing.
Hi, It’s not working. My Instagram widget is added in Footer 1 through Custom HTML. It is not working when I choose to Hide it.
Instagram widget is from a social plugin, not a newspaper Insta widget. So I am using shortcode like [instafeed] in custom HTML > added in widgets. Then I added the widget in footer from Homepage TagDiv editor. Then I tried Hidden in Mobile view, but it is not working. please help.
Hi Bettina,
Thanks for your reply. I had done as you discribed, but mobile view was not showing and not selectable in the manager. BUT… aperently you scared the apechips out of my WP, because after reading your answer all was working fine at once 😉
So I followed your lead as described and it works fine now. Thanks a lot Bettina!
Hello @mines2market!
If you mean you need a button called “Load More” for your pagination, then you can achieve this by editing that page with TagDiv Composer, and you will find in “Posts Loop” element settings like in this screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/E8rOlD4jHMp
I’m sorry that you are facing issues using Newspaper Theme. The page loading speed for both mobile and desktop depends on many factors and you can’t compare an empty theme like Twenty Twenty with a fully functional, features loaded theme like Newspaper that helps you create a website in a few hours.
We are building a long term collaboration with our customers. You can see on our demos what page loading speed score can a website loaded with content can have. However, page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view.
Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website.
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not, if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.
We can’t not provide a solution for you here, right now as we do not know what are the conditions on your website. You can make the following tests:
1. Activate tagdiv Composer and Standard Pack, install a standard demo and check the page loading speed, then disable the Standard Pack and activate the cloud template and install a pro demo. You’ll see that the speed will improve significantly. Also, you should consider creating the mobile optimized pages for each of your pages to improve the speed on the small screen devices.
2. Test your website in a page speed test la GTMetrix or Google Pagespeed Insights and check the loading time on the ads, fonts and tracking scripts – if there is something there that slows your website down, take action.
Our developers are constantly working on improving Newspaper Theme performance. If you need our help, please send us an email at bogdan@tagdiv.com, we’ll evaluate your client’s website and see if there is something we can do to assist you.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello!
If you will edit the page with TagDiv Composer, select Website Manager and choose mobile menu, check this: https://www.screencast.com/t/RHIf9iWQUg ; There you can select which menu you want to be on mobile.
Note that if you have Mobile theme plugin activated, then you can not change the menu of it. In this case, you need to uninstall the plugin and try again.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
After trying other functions.php code to try and get it to work, I found a simple workaround solution.
Instead of linking to the custom post type category pages in the mobile menu, I simply linked to its default archive URL.
Example: https://www.theaegisalliance.com/indie/
Example: https://www.theaegisalliance.com/tweets/
While this doesn’t completely solve the issue, it’s still much better than nothing.
If by the responsive version you mean AMP, I just don’t use it because of its limitations. While I’m able to use a custom blacklist sanitizer override plugin to allow things otherwise not allowed in AMP, it still restricts me from using rotating ads in AMP, such as our shop ad that shows a new ad image every 6 seconds.

Hello!
You can not modify them by TagDiv Composer because you have not a mobile header/footer created for the mobile page.
Please create a header/footer for the mobile page, or you can convert the header/footer from desktop like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/dDe4WoCd ; then after convert you can modify them with TagDiv Composer.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately, there is not a general option to disable the mobile theme plugin for all pages. This can be done only manually on each page.
The option was implemented only in Gutenberg editor, therefore will not work with the classic editor.
What you can do is to try to enable the Gutenberg editor until you disable the mobile theme for pages.
Thank you for understanding!
Hello!
I suggest you to use the responsive version, then the custom taxonomies will be display without problems.
If you want to use the mobile theme plugins, then please use a custom post type as in our guide from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-post-type-support/
If you want to use another way to get your CPT, then unfortunately, this will require custom work which is not covered by the support team.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
This situation appears when you are using the mobile theme plugin and the cache plugin that you have do not has options for separate mobile theme plugin, therefore, do not know when to deliver the mobile version and when to deliver the desktop version.
We tested with our theme the WP Super Cache and with the settings from our guide this is working correctly -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hello!
Edit this page: https://regioonline.nl/sport/ with TagDiv Composer plugin, click on Website Manager, select Mobile Menu like in this screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/AKvdaOA2k
After this you can see you are on mobile viewport, so you can change the logo by clicking your logo and you will see on the left side these settings which is only for mobile: https://www.screencast.com/t/lJ2lLXI63n9
Set here the logo and it should display for mobile version also.
Hope that helps you!
Let me know about your results!
Thank you!
Hello !
Please provide a link to your website. I understand that you want to remove the buttons only from Mobile Devices right ?
Thank you !
I want to disable a insatgram widget only in Mobile View. How can I do it? It should disable only in mobile view.
Hi, I still want to know if the Article bottom ad shows after the contents of a ‘page’ or does it only work with ‘post’.
And, I would like to know if I change the adsense size for mobile to 320×100 on the theme panel for the header, will they be able to show 320×50 ad size as well, or is it fixed to 320×100.
Thanks
Hello,
For desktop it is possible to create a seperate menu for a template. However, when this page is shown on a mobile, then the menu is the global mobile menu of the site, not that of the page template. Is it possible to assign a different mobile menu to a template, or e.g. take care that system chooses the menu of the template, also when viewed on a mobile?
Many thanks,
Adrian
Hello!
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you want the same design on mobile, you need to deactivate Mobile Theme plugin.
Thank you!
