You need to take into account many factors:
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors.

Thanks for your response. I’ve read all the articles I could find on these forums about the admin-ajax issue including the one you’ve mentioned above. I’ve also followed all the guides provided in that article and other articles as well.
As mentioned above, my site works perfectly fine 90% of the time even under very high visitor load.
However, the issue happens on average about 10% of the day when nothing is happening on the site and I have only a handful of visitors.
I can completely understand if the issue happens all the time because I haven’t optimized anything. I can slo understand if the issue happens when my site is under heavy load. But for the issue to happen only a few times during a typical day with not a lot of traffic suggests to me that it may be a bigger issue than just optimization.
If optimization or anything else mentioned in your link/article above was the issue, the site would slow down every time I have high traffic. That isn’t the case. As mentioned before, even under heavy traffic, the site performs very well with only about 55% CPU usage with about 800 concurrent visitors.
Hope that makes logical sense. There must be something else causing that issue.

I’ve checked your website and it seems that you use Mobile theme plugin.
When you create mobile pages with TagDiv Composer with Mobile Theme plugin installed, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
We have 3 options of mobile versions that you can use:

I have replaced the header. Deactivated every single plugin. to try to find it. The amount of issues this theme has is ridiculous. I think that this situation can appear do to the cache plugin. Can you please make a test, clear all cache, disable all plugins except tagDiv plugins and try again. In case that the problem is resolved, enable the plugins one by one until you find the one that is causing the problem. Most of the time is related to cache and optimize plugins.

Hello.
Set up a bunch of plugins as per instructions.
The cache is cleared at 12 at night. But +- 14:00 – 16:00, Ajax loading of articles stops working. If I clear the cache, it starts working.
What could be the problem?
The site is updated frequently. +- 30-40 articles per day. Cleaning is set to 1 time per day.

With a particular traffic on posts the counter cause a serious effort of server. We had to disable it in order to reduce the load.

And if you want you can also try the mobile theme plugin, this will change the mobile layout and the page content will be needed to be set in the mobile editor, but the speed will be better.

Unfortunately, none of this has fixed the issue. I tried the following things:
1. I tried exactly what you wrote above. Since I do not use a cache plugin, that was the only step I didn’t do.
2. I disabled all the plugins except for the tagDiv ones.
Those are the two things I tried and the error has not gone away. Any other ideas of what may be causing this? Here are the plugins I am running (note that disabling them didn’t fix the issue):

today my theme broke down – everly.eu
In header, there are some lines of codes. I contacted siteground to see if it is hosintg and they sad thats caused by tagDiv Cloud Library plugin that is making dozens of thousands of requests to optimize the header. This is what the Siteground support wrote me:

Based on the plugin’s functionality there is a function getimagesize which seems to be not optimized. I would suggest contacting either the website’s developer or the plugin vendor so they could review it further. For now, I have deactivated the plugin, and public access to the website is restored.
Please optimize the plugin prior to it’s activation, otherwise, we might be forced to limit the website for a longer period. The only downside of this is that the header of the website is not properly loaded now.
Anyway, please feel free to contact the plugin vendor for further assistance on the matter.

Hi adamuiowa, the theme panel options are now recommended only if you want to use the same AdSense code in more ad box elements, in this way you can change the code from the theme panel and will change for all ad box where it is set as a source.
If you set the code directly in the ad box, then this will make request to the ad directly without been needed to check first in ad source.
Also, I checked your website and you have some errors in console, those can make the loading of ads to be longer then it should be -> https://i.imgur.com/3xUGa1X.png
Another thing is that the Newspaper v11.4 was not tested with WordPress v5.9, so it can be an interference too. If you want you can make a full backup and update the theme to v11.4.1
Now, there can be other situations, for example if you use some optimize plugin that is set some scripts to load in footer, then the ads will be added after the content.
There are more aspects that need to be checked and I will love to take a look and see if this situation can be solved, but for this you’ll also need to improvise the website speed, right now this is not so good.

You have the same problem with the ads loading? those are loading only after a few seconds? If yes, then we’ll check your website too, but for further problems, please open a new topic and explain the situation you have and provide details and a link to the website, because sometimes the same issue can be from different cause.

The theme is passing the core vitals, but this also deepens on what you have on website what you use and if you optimize it or not. For example please try this live demo https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_pro/ this has been optimize and not have good results.
We recommend to not use the standard pack, adjust correctly the layout, and other a few standard steps.
Indeed, it is possible that there are still some theme elements that can be optimize. The optimization will be made for now on only for the cloud templates.
If you can provide some more details about the core web vitals that you get for your website, I will try to help you and together maybe we can achieve better results.

It has been so long, but NewsPaper theme is not passing core web vitals issues due to theme structure. When we can see that this theme is passing core web vitals. Due to it we are losing ranking very badly.
1) Also, can you please send me the default settings (dimensions) for each Grid so I don’t have to fiddle with the others if I want to use them?
2) I changed the dimensions for Big Grid Flex 2, but now all of the grids have those dimensions! That means I have to change the dimensions every time I load a new grid? When I had the Newspaper Pro pre-built, it automatically optimized the grid every time I loaded it.

And what about images Size? Why HTML document is so high. Even due to using Ewww optimizer. Do you think the theme is causing this? If not, what should I do?
