1) When I use the pre made ad spots the ads don’t disappear with the adblock on. On the other hand with the custom ad spots the ads disappear. Why is that? Is it possible to make the pre made ad spots to disappear too?
2) I added the plugin stachethemes_event_calendar and to make is work with speed booster I added it in the allowed list as you told me at the themeforest comments. That made my child theme stop working. Why is this? Could I fix this?
Figured out the problem on my end and I wonder how many others may experience this too.
It is the Avast Online Security extension on Chrome. On Firefox, it is the Tracking Protection in your Privacy settings. On Firefox, it would not show Google Ads until the Tracking Protection was disabled (look at the privacy shield to the left of where you type in your domain name) but it did show Disqus. Chrome, with Avast, did not show Google Ads nor Disqus.

Maybe your code requires a bit of extra implementation like maybe a script that goes in the theme functions.php or header.php in the head section. Please check with amazon for wordpress implementation on the ads. Please do not use a larger size than 696 pixels for content ads. The main content with sidebar is 696 pixels wide and any ad that is bigger fill not display properly. Right now all your ads fall back to another size provided by adsense. Please use the theme ad spots and select your preferred ad sizes: https://www.screencast.com/t/ChB4CSDb2Qm

I suppose that you are referring to Google Adsense Link Units -> https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/15817?hl=en. Our theme does not recognize these parameters and if you want to achieve that format of Ads, you can try to use AdRotate plugin. The theme only works using Google Adsense ad codes: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads/ ⊠for another type of ads you can either use wp text widget or a plugin like Simple Ads Manager or AdRotate to render the code then use themeâs ad spots. There are no official tested ad plugins as we have our own ad system. Adrotate works with our theme even though itâs not tested by us but by our users.

You will have to choose another size for your content ad. The size you chose is larger than the container so it falls back to the next size. The content width if you use a sidebar is 696 px. If you select a width larger than 696 px it will not work .

Thanks for your support. Unfortunately EDD works fine with other templates/themes but not Newspaper. I respect that you do not provide customization but I’m hoping for a fix as other themes provide.
I have bought your theme numerous times and really don’t want to switch to another.
Can I simply go to archive.php and make a change to M1? All my images are being cropped but if I use a shortcode and add a page http://www.top10px.com/downloads the images are perfect. Only when I follow a link to a category do they all get cropped.

If you want to hide an ad for a certain post you should use the post ID and a custom CSS for this ad, like the code below:

Notice that the .td-g-rec class is only for a Google Adsense AD and .td-a-rec for other ads.

I am trying to use either the block called HomePagePost, which i cannot get to show for love nor money.
And
The block called Slide. Now this works, however if i select a category that has 3 posts for example. All the headlines are posted on top of one another making it illegible and all the categories show on the slide too.

In other themes it works, Just not yours. I tried clearing the cache and several other things I saw on the website and nothing worked. I had just purchased it 01/02/2017 so it is up to date. Please let me know what to do?

I updated WordPress 4.7 and Newspaper 7.6 at same day. After that every end of the day my web site becomes blank pages. Only some ads can be seen after 00.00 AM.
I can fix it myself but it always gets me tired of it.
When I change theme from Newspaper to another a theme and again change from the another theme to Newspaper , my web site is going to alright.

Is it not possible to post multiple ad codes into one adspot (ie. sidebar, custom 1, etc.)? If, for example, I wanted to display five banners on the side, would I have to do each one separately using the custom codes?
I can’t get more than one ad to show per adspot. This is not good for me because we have more than 10 ads that run down the right rail of the page, so we would run out of custom adspots. Also, we’d like two ads to run inline (one right above the other) and it seems only one ad can run there at a time as well.

I updated to the newer version of newsmag theme 3.3 and the above solution of putting ads through short code has stopped working.
I had put the two custom ads through shortcodes in loop-single-2.php for showing ads at the bottom but after the upgrade it is not working. Is there another way to put the code now?

I have checked again and indeed, the ad on the bottom of the sidebar still not working. It is strange because the ad on the top of the sidebar is working fine. Please try to check your Ad code and change the ad with another one and check the results. Probably, the Google Adsense is broken and that’s why it is not displayed. Also, please contact the Google Adsense, tell the problem because they should be able to provide a more accurate response because as you can see, the theme displays the Adsense. Also, you can try to clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results.

I’m not sure how exactly the pop ads are supposed to work. You should use this method of implementation in the ad spots but we have not tested them so I cannot provide a precise answer if they will work properly or not: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/
You should ask the code provider if any other implementation is required like a code in the site’s head tag for instance. The code provider should be able to provide this info.
