Hi, I just upgraded to 7.1.1 from version 6.7 and noticed the logo is floating towards the left instead of being centered. This only happens on the main page (http://makeupforlife.net or http://makeupforlife.net/page/x) but not at other pages (http://makeupforlife.net/press), posts (http://makeupforlife.net/2016/06/glossier-quartz-haloscope-review-swatches.html) or categories (http://makeupforlife.net/makeup-tutorial).
I have included screencaps below as well. Please let me know what I can do to fix it. Thanks!

Hi there,
as you can see from my web site (please see http://www.ntr24.tv/), the sidebar contains mostly advertising banners. It is fine on a desktop PC but, if you open the web site on a smartphone, all the sidebar content is placed at site bottom and, unfortunately, our advertisers don’t like to see their ad banners placed at the site tail. Is there a way to display these banners in a different way, for example between the other posts and a litle bit more “up” in the site on mobile devices?

1. There is no ideal size for featured image. Basically image’s size should be at least by thumb’s size where will be used. You will have to asses the containers and thumbs you plan on using on your site and the post templates as well. If you use post templates that use the full size images like: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-2015-awards-all-of-the-best-and-worst-moments-from-the-show/ then a full hd image is required. If not, you need to inspect every element especially on the homepage. If you use big grids, your images must be at least the size of the big grid container otherwise they will not fit inside and not display properly. I was reading many threads on this forum and many tagdiv clients asked for WPML compatibility.
It is just not acceptable that you dont even try to get certified by WMPL (https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/go-global-program/).
You could get even more copies sold if you offer this compatibility. WPML is for me more important than any other plugin and ignoring it is not the way your development team should go.
Before copy pasting standard reply that you dont support and so on, please take 1 minute to think again and review the possibility to move your theme to next level.
And yes, I could pay even more for your theme if this is supported…

Trying to add Custom Ad 1 to the top of category pages and Custom Ad 2 to bottom of pages. Code for loop.php is helpful but links to screen shots referenced in Lucian’s first post above are not working. Is there another place to find them? Was able to use the “$adcounter = 0;” or “$adcounter == 2)” terms to add an ad after 10 articles. Wondering how to make an ad appear at the very top of the page (below nav bar and above breadcrumbs) as this is typically where we insert Super Leaderboard ads.

First of all, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
This theme behaviour regarding on hover on mobile it seems to come from your untested plugins which interact with the theme and which might cause a lot of unknown issues. Also, the problem which you have mentioned regarding on zoom in might come by some ads which are not correctly set (if you are not using the AdSense code and if you are using other ads and these are not added with div method might appear some behaviour like this) -> for more information about this method you should consult this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/

This problem could be caused by the way you implemented ads. If your ads are non adsense then please use this method to implement them properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/
You can also try to disable all plugins except visual composer. clear cache and reset cdn files.

Is there any workaround for the time being? Any plugin to implement page level ads. We understand there are other issues to address but on the flip side we are also giving away potential revenue!

Today I thought it was a good idea to install a new demo template. But after this everything is going wrong.
The menus in the theme panel is for 50% broken. If I select for example “theme colors” and select some menus, the all collapse with “-1”.
I can’t edit anything in the theme menu.
If I go to ads, the menus are working, but the last couple of menu’s in the ads section is broken, same result “-1”.
Also when I save another footer, half an hour later it takes the demo settings again. So my settings saved is no 100% action. Saved the footer for the fourth time and now it works.
Another weird notice was after installing the demo layout it was auto posting blog posts from the theme demo. Also after deleting these posts they were installed again, and again and again, till I switch to the wordpress standard theme and switch back. Finally the autoposting is stopped.
But I think there is something not good in the theme. Before switching to the travel layout I have problems.
Latest theme version installed, system status everything green and working.
After searching for hours I can’t find anything wrong.

1. Does the theme support custom sidebars for posts – so for each new post I can decide what goes in the sidebar for that specific post?
2. Does the theme support custom header/footer ads? By that I mean to show the header/footer ad on certain pages/posts, but not others?

I have inspected your site and saw the white spaces. These are actually empty adsense ads you placed inside your post content. Please remove the ads or replace them with other working ads as they are not delivered by google.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option that offers you a way to add two ads, one of them to the left and the other to the right but only if you add this option through code. Please try to consult this topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-place-ad-codes-in-left-and-right-hand-side-gutter-space/ because there you will find a method when you can achieve as you wish. If you refer to something else, please provide more details but notice that if you are not aware of the steps which you needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!

Ok got it, so i would like to achieve two things:
1.Change the default category the mobile theme uses from featured to something else say latest.
which file would i need to work on to change this?
2.incorporate Double clicks for publishers ad units.
Now i tested the theme with google adsense code and it worked perfectly mainly because its a one part ad tag code. But double clicks for publishers uses a two part code that is one set of code is placed in the header.php file of the theme and the other code in the ad slot. but when i try this with the mobile theme it does not work.
How can i accomplish this?

I suppose that you are referring to Google Adsense Link Units -> https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/15817?hl=en. Our theme does not recognize these parameters and if you want to achieve that format of Ads, you can try to use AdRotate plugin. The theme only works using google Adsense ad codes: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads/ … for another type of ads you can either use wp text widget or a plugin like Simple Ads Manager or AdRotate to render the code then use theme’s ad spots. There are no official tested ad plugins as we have our own ad system. Adrotate works with our theme even though it’s not tested by us but by our users.

I have few long post and have inserted a page break between different points within them. Currently the navigation are appearing to be numbered with less visibility. I am looking to change this to a button clearly visible.
Any leads on the code change or plugin that might do this trick is highly appreciated. Hi,
I recently purchased this Newspaper7 theme and installed on WPEngine page. The theme loads fine, but when it is trying to get the default content, it gives the issue of tagDiv Importer error and does not load the default content.
Note: It only happens for default template, other templates work fine. Can you let me know where or what to do to resolve this issue?

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option for it that offers you a way to change the desired ad size from the panel, sorry! Please notice that the mobile theme is displaying just only the ad code with your have added in certain spot ad for the mobile theme from Theme panel. So, if you are using the Adsense, please notice that if you want that you ad to be in square mode, you will have to add the style inline with the specific width and height, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/RxEcoxuB and the result you should see here -> http://screencast.com/t/krlWOg6nC

Thank you for detailed instruction. I succeeded to set up sidebar at page using VC but unfortunately there is no result at categories. I set up everything properly (sidebar mode, custom sidbars etc.) at Newspaper theme panel. Please take a look at enclosed screens:
I also noticed problem with building widgets. Sometimes it can’t be saved and after adding elements and save they are “clear” without content.
I turn off plugins one by one (most important apart from some small extensions like icons pack) and deleted caches. Also with no result for displaying sidebar.
List o my plugins (additional): Cookie Notice, CodeStyling Localization, Collapse-O-Matic, Disqus Comment System, Mango Buttons, Login No Captcha reCAPTCHA, Pretty Link Lite, Reviewer, Scroll to Anchor, TablePress with extensions, Use Any Font, WP SVG Icons, Yoast SEO
I would be gratefull for other suggestions 🙂
