Hello Anamaria, I really don’t know what is happening. Now I see the good page and I do the same as before. I have an other issue, I used a template for the homepage (pc) but when i go in tagdiv to the mobile version I see something else than the one on te mobile phone?? What I am doing wrong??

Hi, at the moment I had to switch my mobile theme off—> no mobile page, because differently my website looked like the mobile on desktop too.
beyond that could you please answer these questions?
– On my android mobile the website is pretty simple with the grid at the top and the latest article after, can I change this by putting the latest articles on top?
– The footer, that I imported from my desktop template, looks different, how can I customize it? I add some text copying from my desktop version on the mobile theme panel, but the links didn’t work

My suggestion for you would be to create PRO Templates and create the sidebar within the template. You can see an example here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa7GenCHcBU&t=2s
This will make your job easier because you will edit everything from one go. If you still want to use some widgets from Appearance – Widgets you can by using the Widget sidebar element from Composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/lmwLTaeaJBa

I’m having this same issue, now, on my 404 and search pages (unstyled content similar to what starship77777 showed in his picture). I’ve posted about this for other pages before, but it keeps happening various places on my two sites where I use Newspaper since the 10.4 update, and I keep playing whack-a-mole with it and it’s wasting time!
I’ve tried using a new 404 template. In the past I’ve tried uninstalling, then re-installing TD Composer and Cloud Library. In one case, it helped, in one it didn’t. I had to rebuild my events template, then that corrected the issue, but so far haven’t been able to fix this for 404 and search places on one blog.

I wouldn’t count on a quick update any time soon. We’ve been waiting for this for months and they’ve made a few small changes. Oh yes, the template requires some serious changes, new thinking. Which doesn’t mean it’s bad because the theme is good, but also the fact that it lacks some nice features. It is a pity that TagDiv is not working on compatibility with other plugins, I understand that they promote eg Yoast, because only here they recommend it, this is of course just an example.
You’re right Google raises the bar and turns us on our heads 🙂 We have to learn or pay to follow him. It’s good that there are many interesting plugins that do a lot for us. I myself use this theme on several pages and use different optimization settings.

I’m experiencing issues with some or all of my theme panel settings disappearing. Approx once per week the template for my single post page changes from my designed template to a ‘standard default’ one.
Today I woke up and discovered all of my template settings across the website had returned to the default option. All of the image thumbnails had returned to the default meaning some of the ones I require were off while others I don’t use were back on. The custom css code and font settings I had added to the theme panel had also disappeared.
Is this a cache issue? My site is hosted on Cloudways which has a Varnish cache on the server. I’m also using WP Rocket and Cloudflare.
Any help would be appreciated.
I have a extremely strange issue. On my pages thee was asettings at the bottom of the page showing the option to override the sidebar options. Now it is currently not there. Does anyone have how this can happen or at least get it back?

Hi,
All of the templates have the same “active & hover style” (style 3 background). When the homepage is selected, the style is correct BUT when any other menu item is selected, or 404 page, search from menu page, or tag page is selected, the style is broken.
The menu style on the home page, author page, and single post page are correct.

I need to add a sidebar to the single.php template even for pages with Tagdiv Composer content. I need to add it at the template level.
I also need to wrap all of the content in that template in a couple divs.
Normally, I would just edit single.php to accomplish what I want, but it appears that when tagdiv composer content is on the page, that doesn’t work.

I need to edit the template file on pages with tagdiv composer content.
Specifically, I need to add a couple outer divs and add a sidebar to the page. BUT I need to do it in the template file itself, NOT within tagdiv composer.
What file do I need to edit to do this?
I have used Newspaper for years and want to make it work for a new website, https://betterlifehub.com.
I have the top part of the home page working great using the Newsmagazine template, but I want to eliminate the bottom third which includes “Latest Articles” and the Social Counter. (The footer is fine.) When I roll over it using the TagDiv editor, those sections do not light up. Neither can I find them when I “edit page” in WordPress and look for the relevant code. Please help me fix this. Thanks very much for your awesome theme.

I recommend you to use “column text” or “text with title” elements from TagDiv Composer and insert some texts which can help you. These elements have a button called “edit content” and if you click on that button, the wp editor will open and you can add some texts. These will be recognize by SEO.
In order to edit a page with Tagdiv Composer you need to use a cloud/PRO template.

2. The Posts Loops settings are divided into 4 tabs: General, Layout, Style, and CSS. The Posts loop is a special block and doesn’t have filtering options, you can only sort it =>https://www.screencast.com/t/geckLSYd5sa, so if you have set the Posts Loop on the homepage, then will display all post of all categories, if you have set the Posts Loop set on the category template, then will display the posts only from that category.

I set the background to white for the single posts template. That way I only have the background picture for the overflow part of the post of desktops.
But then I ran into a new problem.
This page does not have the background picture at all:

If I understood correctly you want to have different ads on each category page, but on all categories, the same advertisement remains. this problem is because you use a global template for all categories, all you have to do is assign an individual template to each category, meaning you can use the same template but change its name to each category

Do you provide a service that would upgrade our theme from Newspaper 9 to 10.x and preserve our current look and feel, custom content types, templates, etc?
I attempted this myself using a dev site and was met with a whole lotta broken code and pages that were misconfigured. We currently use a child theme backed by 9 and we really need to upgrade so that we can take advantage of WordPress 5.7.
