I did it 2-3 times as you told me, but when I return to the page, the old template appears. I cleared cookies and cache but the result is the same.

Hello Zdenko!

You can increase the PHP, WordPress and the theme version.
Make sure you use the same global header on the homepage as in the single template and not a default header that can not be edited with the tagdiv Composer.

We have 3 options available for mobile versions that you can use:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.

Thank you!

Hello,

You have the mobile theme plugin activated; please disable it.
Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activate and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activate.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

Thank you!

Hello,

You need to create a custom post type to see there all the submitted contact forms.
Please check this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-form-contact-page/
Unfortunately, the email template is standard and cannot be customised.

Hello,

In the theme panel, those options refer to disabling the image ads from displaying on specific devices (https://i.imgur.com/tDcrsfC.png). This is for the Adsense ads, to set a size (https://i.imgur.com/uBOz7Xq.png), but the options to not show on a specific viewport do not apply.
But I recommend using a cloud template instead of the standard templates for posts, categories, etc.
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/

Hello,

I recommend using the single post template, and there you can achieve that. There is an issue with the sticky sidebar for posts that use standard template, which will be fixed in the next update.
For standard templates you can enable the sticky sidebar from Newspaper -> Theme Panel -> Template Settings -> Smart Sidebar

Sorry – a filter on this end was blocking the site. Got it now. That’s sorted the home pages. How do I achieve the same on past pages like this one:

https://www.bitemagazine.com.au/the-role-of-curcumin-in-oral-health/

I’ve tried turning sticky sidebar on and off in the template settings but not having any luck.

Hello,

You can use the flex blocks and set on them what category of posts you want to show, and then this block will display the same posts for all categories; if you set the special filter for the current category, which dynamically displays the posts from that category within each category https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
The Posts Loop automatically filters the posts depending on the cloud template you set (for example, on the category page, there will be posted posts from that category) https://forum.tagdiv.com/posts-loop/

Hi,

The tagDiv Composer is our page builder and it can be used for building pages and cloud templates, but not for creating posts. For this, you’ll need to use Gutenberg or a classic editor.
Using tagDiv Composer, you can build/edit the single post template (the layout of the posts).
Here is a video that will show you how to use the builder to create a website from scratch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg to do this you’ll need to have the posts already.
Also, on our channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOT1RiNysIPCTPSnVZskwtQ, you can find more videos that can help you and documentation https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/ and you can ask us here on the forum or email if you have any questions.

Hello,

I have a few questions regarding your template:

1. I created a form to submit jobs and followed the wizard subscription process to test it, as it seems it needs to be completed. However, despite my efforts, the form cannot be submitted. I followed your tutorial, but nothing is working as expected. Upon checking my log, I encountered the following error on the submit page: Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected identifier 'il'. I am unable to determine what this error is related to. Can you provide any insights?

2. I have several subscribers from my previous website, and I would like to grant them subscriptions. Do you have a process in place for this?

3. It appears that credits cannot be assigned as a subscription. Could you provide the file that needs to be modified? This would help me save time in customizing the system.

4. Regarding the locker feature, could you please let me know which PHP files activate it? This would also save me a significant amount of time.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
V.

I just did a test of the site, with an online program to see its display on different browsers and operating systems. And I confirm that in some cases the home page is displayed in the incorrect way, exactly like this:

View post on imgur.com

This to me is a serious problem, because users who read our magazine, do not display the site correctly.

Is this a problem with the template installed, or with your program? Is it possible to solve it somehow?

Thank you very much

Hi,
I’m trying to create a page that lists all users of my community in a similar way as what was done for the dentist preset template.

I do not manage to use the flex loop filter to display the list of users.

Ideally, I would like to extend the user custom post so that they be tagged with skills and other criterias (just like for doctors/dentists, somehow..)

Is there an easy way to get this done ?

Thank you very much

Emma

Hello
is it possible to use tagdiv composer in post content? I mean without editing the template for every post.
I’m almost certain I used tagdiv composer to edit content of articles instead of wordpress editor.

In Pages list I see “Edit with TDComposer”. I do not see this option for posts.

Am I wrong?

Anamaria

Hello,

You can apply the filter only on the Flex Block and Big Grid Flex -> https://imgur.com/Nnt3zGX
The Posts Loops settings are divided into 5 tabs: General, Layout, Style, ADS and CSS. The Posts loop is a special block and doesn’t have filtering options.
Also, one of the pagination options of the Posts Loop has the option for normal numbers, and the flex blocks do not have this option.
The Posts Loop automatically filters the posts depending on the cloud template you set (for example, on the category page, there will be posted posts from that category).

Thank you!

Hello,

Please let me know what template you use, a cloud or standard template.
Do you have created a mobile page? You must convert the header and footer -> https://www.screencast.com/t/HrjOBNayd to be able to edit with tagdiv Composer. Please check this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY

Hi. Thanks for reaching out.

I need these changes:
– Article block on loop template, for every single article, should be wrapped in one a href link (current: link is article title, article image and if there is category name that is also a link). This is for SEO purposes mostly. Also I would lke to make this work across the whole website, not only on loop templates but they are priority for now as i have them on category and tag pages.
– I need to add a prefix to an Article name and that prefix should dynamicaly show the category name that article belongs to, before the title itself, and wrapped in span html tag (should be non clickable). This can be made on a single article template but i havent found a solution to work on the category/tag/home page blocks so I probably need to deal with php templates for this custom modifications

Thats the tasks 🙂
Thanks

Hello,

Please don’t use the AMP plugin because it is deprecated. You need to use the composer, select the viewport for the phone and try there to fix the header.

I have a question regarding the additional mobile page feature available in your Newspaper theme. Specifically, I would like to understand the impact of creating a separate mobile page for template on my website’s performance.

If I create a mobile-specific page, will it result in faster loading times for my website on mobile devices?
Alternatively, does this feature primarily serve to display different content on mobile devices without affecting performance?

Understanding these aspects will help me optimize my site effectively. I appreciate your guidance on this matter.

Thank you for your assistance!
