Hi,
The background color appears until the images from the articles that have been set as featured images are loaded.
What you could do is force that background color with css, please check that css>
.td-big-grid-post .td-module-thumb {
background: transparent;
}
.td-grid-style-1 .td-module-thumb a:last-child:before {
background: transparent;
}

The first one will remove the gray color and the second one is for the gradient set on post titles.
The css needs to be set in the theme panel > custom code> custom css.
Thank you!

4: How can I remove the secondary menu (main-menu, desktop)
You can see it here on demo: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/category/tagdiv-tech/
But I don’t have any sub-categories at this moment, only main categories, so it display the same categories from the 1st menu.
P.S. It’s visible only when you access category links, on homepage or post, it display only the main menu.

Hi,

You can remove the Single Post Date from the template, select with tagDiv Composer and with a right-click you can delete => https://i.imgur.com/GNzcGmJ.jpg , or selecting the element and with drag & drop place into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page => https://i.imgur.com/vkQVCjn.jpg this change will be apply to all posts that use that template. The same for comments.

Thank you!

Hi,
My suggestion is to check if the single post template has the comments element or not – https://i.imgur.com/1ODVNvJ.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/Nr7qRBn.png, if the element is on the single post template, then please remove it and check if the problem still appears, if is not, then please add it and check the results.
Thank you!

Hello,

1. We recommend WPML plugin for translations: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wpml/
2. You have an error, to solve it please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/error-at-zones-6models-1dom-the-model-does-not-match-the-content-currene/ if you have a child theme; please use the main theme. After you solve it try to change the logo.
3. You can import the cloud template, and access the Cloud Templates -> Shop after you can assign to the product. Please make sure that you have the tagDiv Shop and WooCommerce plugins activated.
4. Depending for what you need, for posts you can use this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/user-reviews/ or this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/reviews-2/
5. Please set the cloud template to be global -> https://i.imgur.com/Ck2hSD6.png
6. You can use some custom code css.
7. Please check this topic https://wordpress.org/support/topic/remove-shop-from-url/

Hi,

I’m trying to remove the social share buttons on my posts as per: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-sharing/

However, in the Newsmag > Theme Panel > Post Settings I don’t have a “sharing ” panel. Has it moved?

Hello,

No, if you have selected the parent category or other subcategory then only posts from that category will be displayed.
A workaround for want you to need is to use the Multiple terms filter and set there the ids of your categories -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/ “– This option allows you to filter the posts by multiple categories. The procedure is similar to the one used on Post ID filter. Add the category IDs separated by commas (ex: 13,23,18). If you want to exclude categories, add a ‘-’ symbol in front of each ID. If you want to display posts from a category and remove the posts included in one of its sub-categories, first add the parent category ID (ex. Fashion category – 341) and after it places the sub-category ID (ex. Daily subcategory id: 342) with a ‘-’ symbol in front. If you decide to use the ‘multiple taxonomies filter,’ the standard Category Filter is ignored.”

Hello,

The image ads are added in demos, so to remove them you need to edit with tagDiv Composer, select the element Ad Box and with right-click, you can delete it => https://www.screencast.com/t/2GfCVx9BCAw7 or with drag & drop place it into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page.
The ad box has 3 sections for ads: using theme panel ads -> https://i.imgur.com/KFa9ibl.png, using images/banners -> https://i.imgur.com/MfAPTaE.png and custom code -> https://i.imgur.com/2rh8SuD.png save it and will appear on the post (you can set a shortcode like a shortcode from adrotate plugin or other plugins)

Thank you!

Hi, folks
after trying some normal debug stuff; a) disable any custom CSS; b) remove Google ads; c) disable some widgets; still having minor CSS issue cannot solve, as not sure if specific to me, or general element from composer plugin.

Specifically, on Chrome Desktop, Windows 11 Pro (all latest versions); latest version of Newsmag theme and composer plugin. No other composer plugins installed; have the default WordPress plugins to allow legacy widgets and post editor.

ISSUE: on home page, the ‘slider’ element, background gradient seems to run full width to the edge of the left column outside the slider element.

I am using simple grid layout as
[ row ]
inside row,
[ 2/3 col ] [ 1/3 col ]
in right col have the widget element and nothing else

You may be able to see the issue here:
NewYorkNetwire.com

and here is home page code elements from composer
[tdc_zone type="tdc_content"][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="2/3"][td_block_slide title_tag="" ms_title_tag="h2" custom_title="FEATURED" limit="2" category_id="4048" header_color="#dd3333"][td_block_4 custom_title="NEW YORK BUSINESS NEWS" limit="2" category_id="4048" offset="2"][td_block_4 custom_title="NEW YORK BUSINESS NEWS" limit="2" category_id="4048" offset="4"][td_block_11 ajax_pagination="load_more" category_id="6" limit="6" offset="6"][td_block_4 custom_title="NEW YORK GOVERNMENT AND POLITICS" limit="2" category_id="10"][td_block_11 category_id="10" offset="2" ajax_pagination="load_more" limit="2"][vc_separator border_width="2"][td_block_8 custom_title="NATIONAL NEWSWIRE STORIES" header_color="#1e73be" limit="8" category_id="5" ajax_pagination="load_more"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/3"][vc_widget_sidebar sidebar_id="td-homepager"][/vc_column][/vc_row][/tdc_zone]

This site was just migrated to v5 from v3. I delete old home page elements completely, but still same ‘page’ — started with fresh layout.

On my iPad it looked just fine; but not on PC desktop.

Thanks for help on this one 🙂

I inadvertently removed tags when I was first building out my site. I’d like to add those back. Ideally I want to tag posts with keywords that go along with the post.

Is there a way to have it list the tags underneath the post title? If not, how do I display all of the tags associated? And where do I add these tags to each post?

Hi,
The Newsmag theme is not so complex, the menu, header and footer template can be removed from the theme panel, or on specific pages using hooks in the child theme. Also, the Newsmag theme has only a boxed version.
The pages can be built using the tagDiv Composer, also theer are some page template – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-page-templates/
For post templates can use the theme panel templates and you can also assign them as an individual on each posthttps://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-post-templates/
Thank you!

Hello,

1. The “Errors at columns elements: 3(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)” most of the time the problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme or a plugin conflict, therefore after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page/cloud template, the next time when you try to edit it, you’ll get that error.
If is only for one page or a cloud template (it can be on the header or footer, you can change them for tests and see if the problem persists), this is from some settings/shortcodes set on it and it can be fixed using the page revision.

2. From what I understand, you had a demo and then installed another, in this case, all the content that came with the first demo is deleted (posts, pages, categories…) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
“VERY IMPORTANT! If you choose to install a pre-built website with content, do not edit the content and use it as your site content! The pre-built website content will get removed when uninstalling the theme or switching pre-built websites. If you want to keep the content as your own, please create a copy of the page and use the copy as your content.”

3. If this situation only occurs when you are not connected, it is most likely related to the cache plugin, it still delivers the cache before you change the demo on the site

Thank you!

Hello @camdt !

Please check the filter in the element’s settings from the TagDiv Composer. Remove it and add the image again. You need to choose also post format: standard: https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/

Hello!

Remove it and add the image again. You need to choose also post format: standard: https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.

Sandboxing (Experimental)
Try out a more flexible AMP by generating pages that use AMP components without requiring AMP validity! By selecting a sandboxing level, you are indicating the minimum degree of sanitization. For example, if you selected the loose level but have a page without any POST form and no custom scripts, it will still be served as valid AMP—the same as if you had selected the strict level.

Enable sandboxing experiment

Paired URL Structure
When using the Transitional or Reader template modes, your site is in a “Paired AMP” configuration. Your site’s canonical URLs are non-AMP, and the separate AMP versions of your pages have AMP-specific URLs. The structure of a paired AMP URL is not important, whether using a query parameter or path suffix. The use of a query parameter is the most compatible across various sites and it has the benefit of not resulting in a 404 if the AMP plugin is deactivated. Note: Changing the paired URL structure can cause AMP pages to temporarily disappear from search results until your site is re-indexed. If you’re migrating from another AMP plugin with a different paired URL structure, then you may want to change this setting. Otherwise we recommend leaving it as is. Learn more

There are one or more entities that are already using the “amp” URL slug. For this reason, you cannot currently use the path suffix or legacy reader paired URL structures. See below for the source of the slug conflict(s):

Tag: AMP (ID: 9265)
Query parameter: ?amp=1 (default)
Path suffix: /amp/ (unavailable due to slug conflict per above)
Legacy transitional: ?amp
Legacy reader: /amp/ & ?amp (unavailable due to slug conflict per above)

Redirect mobile visitors to AMP

Enable Developer Tools
Enable AMP developer tools to surface validation errors when editing posts and viewing the site.

This is a per-user setting. It presumes you have some experience coding with HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP. Once enabled you will have access to Validated URLs and Error Index in the admin menu, the Validate URL item in the admin bar, and the AMP Validation sidebar in the editor.

Use native HTML image tag
The native HTML can now be used instead of the AMP-specific <amp-img> tag. AMP no longer requires the latter because lazy-loading is now a feature of the Web platform. Using native images can further improve page performance, although not all AMP components have been updated to work with them (see example). If you have CSS that is specifically targeting <amp-img> tags, you will need to update them to target instead (which can be done by default since such tags are automatically rewritten in CSS selectors when conversions are done).

Delete plugin data at uninstall
When you uninstall the plugin you have the choice of whether its data should also be deleted. Examples of plugin data include the settings, validated URLs, and transients used to store image dimensions and parsed stylesheets.

Hello.

I am at this stage wondering if you have some ad manager except one under theme panel.
I am here referring to some ad manager that could quickly add/remove adds by categories, post ids and so on.

If not maybe you know some compatible plugin to help manage this aspect.

Anyways feature like this would be cool if you ask me especially if you can connect it to sales page and offer end user to select exact space he can buy and after purchase he would be able to upload his ads and wait on approval.

Just quick idea, might as well do it for my site.

Hello,

The tdc_dirty_content and _wpb_vc_js_status are some post meta -> https://i.imgur.com/3BU1HN8.png those are for the post view count you will have to activate the Ajax counter as you can see here: https://i.imgur.com/SQpaCUj.png
If you do not need the view post count and you do not have it on your website then you can remove those.
tdc_content is used for the content -> https://i.imgur.com/CbeSbnL.png this is not indicated to be removed.

Related to block 7, I don’t think I understood exactly what you want to display if this is an article or a CPT? We also recommend using flex blocks, they have options to be set to your liking.

Thank you!

Hi,

You can remove the Single Post Author Box using Edit with tagDiv Composer with a right-click you can delete => https://i.imgur.com/BnhhxVh.png , or selecting the element and with drag & drop place into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page => https://i.imgur.com/vkQVCjn.jpg the same for comments.

Thank you!

Hello,

I recommend you use a Single Post Template from tagDiv Cloud Library, and you can design it with tagDiv Composer.
To display the related articles or more from the author, you can use Flex Block and filter it https://www.screencast.com/t/SEmxo13Fo2X -> https://i.imgur.com/YIg3nPP.png
if you want to keep those templates the only way to remove the “more from author” tab is to use a custom CSS like this one:

.single .td-related-right{
display: none;
}

Set the code in Theme Panel ->Custom code -> Custom CSS
I hope this helps you!

Thank you!
