I finally found the main issue after many experimentations.
It’s related to the new DISQUS comment plugin version, when coupled with the comments above featured articles. https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/move-comments-above-similar-articles/
I moved the comment section and it worked great for a while, but when I updated the Disqus plugin, I had blank pages on new posts and pages…
It’s weird because it works on older posts. The only way to make it work on the new posts/pages is to delete the comment section I set up in loop-single.php. I can however create a post, then add the new comment section in loop-single.php and it will work as it’s already posted (if that makes sense?).
It’s clearly a problem with Disqus because if I preview a post, it’s giving me the standard comment system, not Disqus. Though it gives me Disqus comment system in preview for older posts…
I might need to get an older version of Disqus now.
Do you know if we can change some codes to make it work with the comment section above featured images w/ the updated version of Disqus, as it brings better security feature, I’d like to keep it.

Might be due to uploading the wrong zip file — meaning, there is zip with just the theme, and there is zip with all the docs, psd file, etc. — using the ‘big’ file it won’t work. But I don’t think it gives that error.

Typically turning off all plugins when activating theme, but making sure you clear all caches, and CDN elements before activation makes the difference. I personally also usually do the ‘preview’ of a theme before activation, just to see if it’s borked or not.

Often uploading manually via FTP, is good option, too, to ensure the right files get up there and completed.

That might not help, just food for thought 🙂

The question remains on the tree-structure of the forum.

In the setting of wordpress and bbpress settings I set the “flag” – to show the tree structure of responses replicas reviews.

Unfortunately, for some unknown reason – a tree system may not be displayed. Help solve the problem.

See the codex; you can have more than one WordPress install use the same database, you simply assign a different “prefix” in your wp-config.php file. You need one child theme folder PER WordPress/theme install.

I really thankful for your explanation, But the issue is bit peculiar.

When i select one category, issue seems resolved. But when i select two categories, then this happens.

I have some other issues as well. When i set points review, it breaks the theme.

So, technically all themes are compatible with Buddypress – and that compatibility is managed by Buddypress folk. As long as the site works with WP 3.9 and is not a horrible mess, it should work just fine.

However worth noting this theme is primarily setup for a “newspaper” site and not a social network portal (hence the name); two totally different things.

Best bet .. try it! 🙂

Brilliant Lucian, that worked perfectly. Is there a way of tweaking and adding the following:

Adding a frame or other styling to the Modal light box feature?

Is there a way of turning on the Modal box by default – to on?

Also, I notice that after I disabled plugin, emptied cache, and turned on Modal for each individual image that some of the images are displaying errors when you click on them – like: “The Image Number #1 cannot be loaded” here: http://www.viewpointsandreviews.com/langtry-manor-review/

I think there are some commercial widgets to do that; I have been looking at them this past week as we’re installing WooCommerce tomorrow (Sat.) on one site.

I’d look first at the sometimes pricey, sometimes free, extensions on the Woo website, and also on codecanyon for anything with good review, sometimes cheaper. There are lots of widgets for things like adding shopping cart to various places, adding content elements to various places, etc.

SOrry I don’t have specific recommendation at the moment … installing my copy tomorrow 🙂 First time I’ve used WooCommerce.

When you choose the page template with slider, you don’t need to also add another slider. So, you might change the page template for blank, and then you’d only have the one slider as you’d defined it 🙂

What META info are you missing?

To create meta data for the home page, you need to enter that on the “page” used for the home page. Highly recommended is the YOAST SEO plugin which lets you set the description, and all other meta data for your home page and also show preview of the SERPS snippet 🙂
