A new WordPress update has appeared.
Update or not? I know of some cases, not this theme, but problems with other themes, plugins etc … that when updating were some errors. What to do now?
I think a more recent post stated that they would be including that in a very soon upcoming version; I think the priority at the moment has been
a) PHP 7.2 test/update code
b) updates/enhancements to the TD Composer plugin
c) bug fixes from the major update to recent version of Newspaper
d) additional prep for big changes coming to WP in WP5.
I believe AMP support is in the mix, according to some of the TagDiv theme folk support posts on the topic. 🙂
Keeping in mind that AMP support doesn’t fix existing content/html issues (e.g., inline HTML), https issues, or push for upcoming http/2 support as a metric on the usability/best practices audit in Chrome. Using the AMP plugin *now* is a good learning curve on basic fixes needed for baseline AMP compliance, regardless of solutions used.
( I don’t work here. Just a webdev dinosaur ! (rrr!) )
I also noticed this for over 1,000 posts in my Google Webmaster Tools. It shows ‘Errors – Missing: updated’, all recently detected in February (I have posts from 2013 on).
Please see screenshots. Is this fixed, and if so do you know the next step?

The file you mention is not supported to me modified in a child theme, only specific files from the booster folder can be modified in the child theme

You will have to make modifications directly in the main file and make a backup of it. Keep track of update change logs to see if this file is modified after an update. If not, restore the backup. That would be a solution.

Seems the title over image element does not have corresponding font settings in the theme panel multi-purpose fonts. Please have a little more patience, there will be changes made in the coming update. Each element will have options to style the font as you wish.

I am currently trying to override few theme files, one of which is td_block.php(available in: includes>wp_booster>td_block.php).
I have added the file in my child theme in same path but it was giving me an error(Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class td_block) because there is no class_exists filter in the parent theme and WordPress was trying to declare a class which was already declared in the child theme. For now, I have added a class_exists filter in the parent theme and it’s working.
The issue is, though it is working now(because of the filter I added in the parent theme), it will break the moment we replace the parent theme with any update. can you help us how we can solve this issue in the long run?

At the moment, the theme does not have any such an option for Newsletter but in future, we will release a theme update and we will include there this functionality.

Blocks may not look properly when using those layouts. Those are mainly for multi-purpose elements. You could maybe stretch the row and create more space, either to a predefined value or full width

The parameters seem top be configured properly, a thing to note is that the theme currently supports PHP versions up to 7.1, higher versions can cause issues. We will provide support for 7.2 in the coming theme update.
That could be the cause of the error. If changing the PHP version does not solve the problem you could try the solutions from these topics

You should update the theme via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case, according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
I’m trying to update the theme (from 7.6 to 8.6) via Envato Market plugin but when I click on ‘Update Available’ nothing happens.
You will have to delete the whole code that is marked. But you will have to do this every time the theme is updated unless you are using a child theme.

@Bogdan B, all the plugins and theme are updated and installed via FTP and on the second attempt via WordPress themes and plugins installer. Yet, i still get the same error in the theme panel > Multi Purpose.

I only have a the few plugins that either come with wordpess, the template package, or from jetpack.
as I mentioned there is no active cache on this site, and no cdn.
was working fine until the update to 8.6
Was causes the + sign to appear? under normal circumstances?
It has to be coming from the template in some way as none of the basic plugins have the functionality to hide or show social media button with a + or – sign.
note: disabled all plugins, issue remains.

The theme is compatible with Visual composer as it is provided in the theme package. You can choose from Visual composer or tagDiv composer.
Visual composer will still be provided in the theme package, although the tagDiv composer is considered the main page builder since it’s introduction.
A thing to note is that the tagDiv composer will receive a considerable amount of options and settings in the coming updates. These will not be available in Visual composer.

You cannot do that, blocks are predefined. Block 15 you mention will always display 3 modules in a 2 column layout, 5 when in a full row

PHP 7.2 support will be available in the pending theme update, last minute preparations are made at this moment. The update will be released as soon as everything is completed.
Then enable it and leave it enabled (if you did not already), there will be no problem. Clear the cache after enabling it. The views will be updated through ajax

I would like to know something about newspaper theme page building option for my site named imhnews.com.
In the new updated theme ,I cannot find any option for removing the page title option.I want to create the page without the page title.I had that before but now I couldn’t find that ,where I would find them .
Do I still need to have the wp mail SMTP plugin for sending and receiving mail ?
