I have followed the directions to install envato API and have it configured properly. However, where it shows upgrade available, efforts to click there produce no results. I can’t find a solution to update/upgrade this product.

Hi,

This is regarding the use of child themes.
1. Supposed if I have done some minor CSS edit in the child theme, can I still update both the parent theme AND the child theme? Or do I just update the parent theme only?

2. If I update both, will my custom CSS be affected?

3. And to clarify, for updating, I have to deactivate the previous theme, activate another random theme, delete this previous theme, then upload and install the latest theme, then activate? Same goes for child theme?

After updating my Newspaper theme, the navigation bar which contains the categories has completely disappeared. I’ve tried playing around with the settings and changing the Header Style but the navigation bar wont show.

Any fix for this bug?

It seems like my Newsmag theme didn’t update automatically like I thought (although it keeps saying that). Now I’m stuck on Version 3.3. Can I easily update it to Version 4.2. without problems? How can I do that the best manually?

Is anyone else having this issue with the new update? My social counters widget has disappeared from the sidebar. It’s not on the front end or the back end. Just gone.

Today I’ve updated theme to 8.5 but my search button on main menu has broken. I’m using header style 10. I couldn’t fix this.

I am trying to save settings after only one change but it doesnt work. And yes, I updated 8.5 and still it doesnt work.

After the 8.5 theme update and WordPress 4.9.1 update, my site images aren’t displaying on Chrome Version 62.0.3202.94 on Mac 10.11.6. Firefox and Safari are displaying fine. http://www.financialthing.com is my site.

Hello guys

I have just noticed that I am using Newpaper 8.0 and spot that 8.5 is already available with a lot of enhancements, bug fixes and a few new features.

Now, I do not have a child theme (I know its my fault), but I have the CSS, Adsense and other files backed up for safety purposes and for convenience. My question is, if i update the theme, will i lose my current website’s setup? (like the way blocks and other content are placed and the information within them) and any CSS, settings and the so included Adsense codes etc? (Javascript and others)

I will be making a child theme soon, but before I do that, i just wanted to clarify this.

Do I have to just download and install it into my wordpress or will I lose the current features of my website?

Hello tagdiv, the recent update is Awesome!! Though some problem are there with the Tagdiv composer. Everything works fine except the text editor. When I click the text editor it keeps loading and not showing the Editor. Also all the elements inside the text area disappears when I click edit Content button.
2) I.m currently using Convert plus plugin to gain subscribers. It is not loading when the mobile theme active. I mean only in the Mobile device. Is there any way to keep a plugin work even when the mobile theme is active. In general a way to make a necessary plugin work in Mobile Theme.

I noticed after updated to v8.5 that category pages have uppercase titles. I didn’t have this before, so I checked the theme panel and tried setting different values for the Page Title, but whatever I do (also size, weight, etc), it doesn’t seem to generate the custom css in the html, so it seems css generation isn’t picking up all the settings from the Theme Panel…
