Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have an option like that and you would need additional customization for that.
If you don’t know how to do it I suggest you get someone to do it for you.
I’ll also add this on our feature request list and consider it for future updates if more people will ask for it.

The last theme update(4.6.2) include last version of Visual Composer(4.4.2) you can find it in the ../plugins folder from the theme files that you download from themeforest: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/ so if you want to update you don’t have to buy it or register it. We provide updates on a regular basis, after we test the plugin for theme compatibility the plugin is included in the latest theme update: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-update-visual-composer-2/

Please make sure that you update the theme properly you can check version that you have in Theme Panel: http://screencast.com/t/UVDafFra as I’m not sure why this is happens and I cannot recreate(now it is happens even with less posts). Also if your theme is updated please try again without any plugins active, leave only Visual Composer active, clear cache and check again.

The problem is still there. But I havnt updatet the Visual composer from the version that is in the Newspaper theme since it cost money. Do I have to?

New update foe VC? Hmm… I must be done something wrong, but didn’t find update. Theme’s version 4.3.5, but last is 4.4.2

This is to remind you that if you’ve edited your stylesheet or other core files without using a child theme you will lose your changes. The styling options you’ve set in the WordPress Theme Customize or in the Theme Panel – those options will not be effected by updating your theme.
Anyway we recommend FTP method for theme updates.

After updating Newspaper theme to version 4.6.2 and then the plugin Visual Composer to version 4.4.2, there is no changes in the available elements that I can use. I mean, when I want to add an element, they are the same that in the previous version, I cannot see new elements such as post or portfolio grid.
I have followed the steps that you detail in the forum to update the plugin (deactivate, delete and install the new one), and, in fact, the plugin version has changed (to 4.4.2.), but the elements are the same.

Hey Guys, yesterday i’d installed newspaper in my wordpress but i change my hosting so i download the last version of newspaper release today, but wordpress dont allow me to install it, after upload newspaper.zip i get message “are you sure you want to do this?”
Very weird issue. The only reason I suspect it is caused by the theme is because if I change the theme, I don’t have the problem.
Ever since I updated to the 1.6 version, all my wordpress pages show completely blank. Nothing, nada. So I first thought it was the permalinks or the .htaccess, so I reset both. Then I thought it was the speed booster plugin, or wprocket, but disabling this didn’t help.
As a last resort I tried the 2015 wordpress theme. When I switch, my pages show fine.
I am running a child theme with one custom function in it, but even if I activate newsmag parent, still blank pages.
Visually I see a blank page, but if I show source, I can see some code there.

I just updated to Newspaper 4.6.2 after activating the child theme of the previous install (3.9.1). Everything seems okay on the visitor side, but I noticed some problems with the theme panel. Specifically, the Categories and Custom Typography options do not show any dropdown choices. The arrow on the right toggles to open the panel, but then it is just a small white line instead of the full array of choices. For example, I would frequently open a new category to adjust the display view and to hide the category on a post. Now, I cannot do that.
What am I missing?

i just downloaded the update from themeforest, but when I overwrite my 444 Version with this it shows me now in the theme-details in wp, that I hav 4.6.1 installed – but on the website it says it should be 4.6.2! Can you please check the file on themeforest.
2nd Problem. On http://www.stoerrischeresel.com I have a revolution slider included – unfortunately the drop-down menu is shown behind the slider. How can I fix this?

struggling for this to work in newsmag I found two alternatives I would like to share:
1. Do the same as this,
but add one item to the array named ‘installed_post_types’ with the post-types needed:
‘installed_post_types’=>’post,page’
This approach has the disadvantage of touching the theme source code.
2. This is kind of tricky: create a child-theme and a new folder named ‘override’ or whatever. Copy td_block_mega_menu.php to that folder (Note that this file is internal and is not overriden by the general child theme method described in the documentation). In that copy, change render method to add ‘installed_post_types’ to the array before performing the query as in the previous paragraph.
Now, in your functions.php create a hook for ‘after_setup_theme’. This will be get called after parent newsmag/newspaper theme is finished.
Then you will have to change the api file for the megamenu block, invoking td_api_block::update_key (‘td_block_mega_menu’,’file’,FULLPATHTOMYNEWFILE);
Now when a megamenu is to be created, the overriden file is chosen instead of the core one.
This method is valid for updating some api blocks and files without touching parent theme.
P.D. Forgot to mention, first of all you should add category taxonomy to pages, using a plugin or in child-theme with register_taxonomy_for_object_type

I have managed to recreated this and seems that we have a problem with the unique articles feature as it generates the same issue on my tests also.
For the moment I have added this on our issue list and we will investigate it and hopefully we can will fix this until the next update.

Unfortunately that is the only layout available at the moment for the big grid block and to get more or change it you would need custom changes to it and it would not be an easy job.
We had other request of like this regarding the big grid and we will consider this and add more layouts but this will only happen in future updates.
You could achieve something similar though using block 14 at full width of the page: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/block-14/
