Hello,
I am facing issues after the recent updates to render Ads on desktop version.
I am using Ads from two different Google AdSense publisher IDs to make sure that the issue is not with our Google Adsense account. I can exclude this reason also because the Adsense are showing correctly in mobile view.
Listing below few informations and screenshots useful to debug the issue and help us to resolve it:
– Newspaper theme Version: 12.5.1 installed
– deactivated, eliminated, reinstalled and reactivated all the plugins from scratch
https://imgur.com/a/2EHuzlD
– made sure that DISABLE on desktop in NOT enabled
https://imgur.com/a/wbgUrXL
– followed your latest guidance for the implementation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/
as you can see from the screenshot https://imgur.com/a/6PzL89X, the Adsense code is implemented in the Single Post Content Ads tab (something is rendering, but nothing is showing. It’s visible when Inspecting the page from browser https://imgur.com/a/LPbR5WC)
– let me also flag that the INLINE Ads doesn’t show inline, but it’s placed just right after the Top Article Ads
– the same issue is showing also on the pages (Header and Sidebar ADS). I followed your guidance by implementing AdBox elements and pasting the Adsense code in there, but despite the Adsense seems there, nothing is showing. https://imgur.com/a/DvYgXvg
Please, help us resolve this issue. Before it was very easy setting up the advertisements by just placing the code from Theme Panel > Ads and now everything is messed up.
If you need to inspect my website, this is the URL: https://italiapragaoneway.eu/
Thanks for your kind support.
Best,
Fabrizio Martini
Subject: Request for Updating API Key for My Newspaper Theme on freefast.in
Dear TagDiv Support Team,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to seek assistance with an issue I have encountered with my Newspaper theme. A few days ago, I purchased the Newspaper theme and received the API key 59631d11**********8d368. However, I am facing a problem when trying to install the theme on my website, freefast.in.
The issue I am experiencing is that, despite using the new API key 59631d11**********8d368, the My License section on my website still displays the API key associated with my old Newspaper theme. This has been causing some confusion and difficulties in managing my theme’s license.
I kindly request your support in updating the API key for my domain, freefast.in, to the new one (API key 59631d11**********8d368). This update would greatly help in ensuring the smooth operation and proper licensing of the Newspaper theme on my website.
Thank you in advance for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to your assistance and a quick resolution to this issue.
Hello @elly!
Check which footer is assigned for your mobile version: https://prnt.sc/kZ4DldPHTMWc
Please note that you will assign a footer for your mobile version; it will change in the desktop version as well (same footer). If you need a different footer, then you should build a mobile page: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
Thank you!
I can’t update my theme with the new license key
Hello @rickyrt !
This is not AMP, but the mobile theme which has the same layout.
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use the mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
Thank you!
Hi Bettina,
I’m having a problem similar to the one reported here by this user.
The share link for some posts points to the url of some tag on the site, but not to the post itself. This occurs on all share buttons, on all social networks.
By my testing, this only occurs with posts that have been updated. When originally published, the problem does not happen.
It is worth mentioning that I use Yoast in my installation, but this does not interfere because I did a compatibility test with all other plugins disabled and the problem only appears with Newspaper activated with only the TagDiv Cloud Library plugin activated. When the Newspaper is activated only with the TagDiv Composer the problem ceases to exist.
Hope they can help us.
Hello @elly!
I recommend you to use the other 2 mobile versions available in our theme: 1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

Thank you!
Hello @rickyrt !
Our developers tried to improve it more and more, optimize it as much as they could in every update, and also bring in new features.
Make sure you use the right font, also check if you do not use some global font in the TagDiv Composer. Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
Thank you!

Hello!
Yes, Ken. It should work well. Update the theme and plugins to the latest update.
@rickyrt I’m glad. That issue is from the cache plugin that you use.
Thank you!
Hi,
How do we update the meta descriptions for category pages and author bio pages?
Thanks!
After attempting to fix this issue my instance of tagDiv now appears to be corrupt. TD Composer is behaving strangely.
I can no longer attempt to update the Theme to the new 12.5.1 as it requests FTP access. My site’s FTP is locked to specific FTP and is not accessible from external locations.
The td_composer folder now insists on being ‘_td_composer’ and is impossible to change back to ‘td_composer’.
Please assist me in resolving these issues.
Hi,
I updated my site yesterday to 12.5. This resulted in tagDiv displaying code instead of the correct formatting. I have tried to revert to 12.4 but the issues remains.
Homepage displays: [td_block_big_grid_1 meta_info_vert=”content-vert-bottom” image_zoom=”yes” show_author2=”none” show_date2=”none” modules_category=”above” overlay_general=”eyJ0eXBlIjoiZ3JhZGllbnQiLCJjb2xvcjEiOiJyZ2JhKDAsMCwwLDApIiwiY29sb3IyIjoicmdiYSg…
I am unable to manually recreate the page as it will not add new elements – spinning busy icon instead and can’t save the page.
Is there a fix?
Hi,
Do you have any plans to make full size news posts slide automatically, as at the top our home page? Or have I missed a setting?
https://www.musicinstrumentnews.co.uk
Also, did I read that you are bringing in some galleries in a future update? It would be good to have this as the manual gallery is a bit clunky on the page. Eg. https://www.musicinstrumentnews.co.uk/namm/
Thank you

Hello @metapicksjp!
The guide is here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/7-days-post-sorting/
We have some issues with the post views, and we hope to fix them as soon as possible in the next update. We’re sorry for this inconvenience!
Thank you so much for your understanding!
Hi
Since I updated the version 12.5, even if I change the Sort order item to popular (last 7days), no posts are displayed.
Hello Tagdiv Support,
What we are trying to do is use the TagDiv Comment element(shortcode) in the Single Post Template….. However, we are using a Paywall plugin (Leaky Paywall) and we want to limit commenting to Logged in Paywall users. So, in general terms…with a twentysomething theme it would be something like :
PHP code :
if (leaky_paywall_has_user_paid()) {
comments_template(”, true);
} else {
echo ‘<h3>You must Subscribe to view and leave a comment.</h3>’;
}
Is there something like this we can add to the Single Post Template with the Tagdiv comment shortcode? If so, where would we do that? And would it be overwritten with Theme updates?
Thanks for your time 🙂
Tim
What we do is just put note at bottom of post

Yes I have tried the CSS mobile tab in TagDiv. The H align says center, even though the text is left justified. Within the desktop tab, if I change the same H align, the text will change based on what’s chosen. However, in the mobile tab, it doesn’t matter what I change it to, it stays as left justified.
Why do I have to create custom code for a problem with the program? I do not know how to create custom code, and it’s not right to ask me to learn to code because the TagDiv program has a glitch. Please let me know what code to input to override the glitch, or please update TagDiv to fix this problem with h align not working on mobile. 🙂 Please let me know?
Thanks Bettina!
