Hello, does the live search work for anyone since 3.8.33.8.2 update ?
I disabled W3 Total Cache and still does not work..
What’s more annoying is that there are inconsistencies in developers’ changelog, i see one version in my theme panel and other version in the changelog file from the freshly downloaded zip.. 🙁

THis might or might not help… but:
Try logging out, and clearing your cache in your web browser (I did that this morning); restart browser, log back in, then try download from your account “downloads” screen?
You may be connecting from a shared/pool IP address which pools all users, and ThemeForest might be counting all those who have downloaded from what they think is one location.
This has worked for me on other sites. I have dedicated IP here, so I don’t run into that anymore, but have in past.

I am trying to download the new update of this theme. Unfortunately, when I go to my Downloads page in ThemeForest, it says:
The support article says, a user can’t download more than 20 times in a day or more than 50 times in a life time. I haven’t downloaded the file in last 24 hours, neither 50 times in my life time!!!
I’ve contacted Envato support, but they haven’t replied yet. It would be great if tagDiv manages to send me the update. Please please let me know.

I updated to Newspaper 3.8.1 , deleted the wpbakery folder and updated the VC plugin via FTP.
All my predefined templates are broken – which is not that bis issue. I recreated them. But the copy-function in visual composer is not working anymore. When I now click on the copy-icon on any module (image, row, text) nothing happens.
Maybe you can check this and consider a fix for one of the next updates.

The WPBakery Visual Composer plugin has some kind of update which can’t be done because it’s not available on wordpress.org What should I do?
Can you add this feature for all in future updates ?? That will be really help full because I am student and It will be difficult for me.

Thank you for pointing me to “Homepage – with article list” template, I wasn’t aware of that and although it helps a bit, it still is not a real solution becuse the problems with custom built pages persist.
Before, I also said that I use WP v3.8.1 because it is compatible with latest available version of qTranslate. However, I encountered another problems with pagebuilder there (once I added some text block and tried to edit it, I wasn’t able to save/cancel/close it) so I was forced to update the WP to its latest 3.9.1 version.
Luckily enough, qTransalate works on the frontend in WP 3.9.1, except for custom built pages as I said a few times. In the backend, I am not able to switch between post editors for different language versions but that is not a major problem because <!--:en--> or [:en] tags still work as expected.
So to put it simply, my problem is this:
When I make custom page with slider, block or widgetized sidebar that show posts, the theme also shows there posts which are not available for currently selected language.
I also tried not to use my custom built page with slider and instead, use template called “Homepage – bg + with article list” (so that I can have the upper slider, even if it is not exactly the layout I desire), but that doesn’t show the top slider at all!
I assume that it will take some time to fix these, so my question is: what and where should I change to make custom built pages filter out the content that is not available for the currently selected language? If not all custom pages, at least the slider module please.

please make sure to backup everything before update.
to update from 3.6 to 3.8.1:
you can download the version 3.8.1 and copy the files on your account.

to update thru patches :
you need to take each patch from each version and upload manually from the next version after 3.6 until 3.8.1.

About the pagination, if you want a pagination you need to use the template with pagination like this one: http://screencast.com/t/SxPaTThgU each template have a diagram to see how the template work.
The problem with the visual composer could be from incompatibility or something, on pages a have this message:
The qTranslate Editor has disabled itself because it hasn’t been tested with your WordPress version yet. This is done to prevent WordPress from malfunctioning. You can reenable it by clicking here (may cause data loss! Use at own risk!). To remove this message permanently, please update qTranslate to the corresponding version.
Is qTranslate compatible with latest WP version? or could be in conflict with page builder.

I bought your theme while in version 3.5 and immediately updated it to 3.6. Now I see that there is newer versions.
My question is: can i updated directly to version 3.8.1 or i have to go through all the updates? If the latter is the case where do I find the corresponding patches?
