Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to minify the style.css file and we cannot recommend any plugins with this functionality because is not tested with our theme. For minifying this file, we are using CloudFlare for our demo and works fine. You should do it yourself through the code because this involves doing such additional customization which is not covered by our license. Normally, the Envato policy allows using a theme only on one install. You can, however, use the theme on a sub-domain if you plan on creating a testing site, but if we are talking about totally different sites with different content, then only one theme per install is legally allowed. In your case, you should buy another license because it’s another project!

I am not aware of any category limit. We have reports of people who have over 1000 categories. There is no setting to limit or allow a certain number of categories in our theme so we cannot say for sure if you need extra settings in order to use 500 categories. Sorry for not having a precise answer on this one.

It is the visual composer plugin. Once I deactivated it, the social icons came back. Please use the wpbakery page builder provided in the theme package, not ‘visual composer’. Please use wpbakery page builder version 5.4.5 provided free of charge in the theme package.

Please check your WordPress version and if you are not using the latest version of it you should update it and then, update them via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case.
