If it doesn’t work this way, it’s likely that something is interfering. My suggestion would be to run a test using only the theme plugins enabled.

Sorry, unfortunayelu it’s a bit hard to understand teh problem you are facing!

Pages and Categories are completely separate
Giving a Page and a Category the same name does NOT link them
– a Category archive automatically shows posts
– a Page will be blank unless:
– you manually add content, or
– you use a template / shortcode / block that queries posts

I believe you are referring to the Featured Image option. This feature is still available in our theme https://i.imgur.com/YIRxJG5.png; however, it may be harder to locate because you are currently using the Gutenberg editor instead of the Classic Editor- https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/
If you prefer working with the Classic Editor, you can install the Classic Editor plugin, which will replace Gutenberg and make this option easier to find.

Unfortunately, the 404 page on Newsmag can not be edited, as on the Newsapper theme, where everything is editable with the theme builder. Another alternative if you want a custom page for your 404 is to edit the 404.php page in a child theme.
