Hi,

That is how it is supposed to display, that module will show the excerpt and the read more button on desktop only, just like in the demo of that module
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/module-19-layout/
I believe this is for design purposes, the module wouldn’t look nice with the excerpt visible
http://prntscr.com/md8qav

Consider setting featured images or videos for the posts, so the theme can create thumbnails from them and display on modules/blocks/grids
https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-vs-featured-image-size/

Also please check in the theme panel here – http://prntscr.com/md8xmu
Remove or replace the images found there, they are providing 404 errors.

Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Hi,

Sorry for the misunderstanding. The post template files are located in the main theme folder
http://prntscr.com/md8ml6
These can be modified in a child theme so you won’t lose the changes after a theme update. A similar topic here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/plugin-wp-postratings/

Hi,

Seems to work now, I checked the post you mention – http://prntscr.com/md8eeo
I tested the post with the Facebook debugger to see if the og data is available, seems to be in order

Thanks

Hi,

I can’t make any events plugin recommendations, we haven’t tried any. You could make some tests on a local install first with such plugins, see which ones work best and have the options you require. Try free plugins if possible.

Maybe some theme users can share their experience with event plugins, what are they using.

Thanks

Hi,

There is an issue similar to what you are describing when the composer save animation doesn’t stop spinning, when the mobile theme plugin is active. The page should still be saved even if the success message is not displayed however.

This problem will be solved in the coming theme update. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The “Current page was not created by TD Composer” message or the status of those custom fields will not cause any problems.

Thanks

Hi,

Please check if user registration is enabled in WordPress – http://prntscr.com/md80li
The sign in/register should appear if this is enabled in WordPress and in the theme

Hi,

From what I can see it is caused by an image – http://prntscr.com/md7pix
Removing that image seems to remove the space – http://prntscr.com/md7y1w
Hope this helps, maybe you have an idea what exactly is that image related to.

Thanks

Hi,

I could take a look at it, please post a link to the website in this topic, or send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com so we can check it. If you send us an email include a link to this topic in the email.

Should be as in the theme demo of module 14
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/module-14-layout/

Hi,

First please make sure you are installing the actual theme zip file, not the whole package
https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/

Here are the theme install guides, either by FTP or by WordPress
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/

This is the theme requirements guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Please check the requirements guide carefully and if needed increase the parameters mentioned in it, or ask your hosting provider to do it for you if possible.

That message you are receiving could be caused by a low max upload size value, like in this similar topic
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/the-link-you-followed-has-expired/

Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks

If you mean the post content, the demo posts are all the same in terms of content. No point in them being different, they are created just for demo purposes. You can create your own posts in any way possible with the theme. Sorry if i still misunderstand.

Hi,

The website uses an older theme version, some socials will not work in these circumstances. For example there have been modifications made by Facebook, Instagram, Twitter on their side quite a while back, we had to make modifications in the theme to keep the same functionality for the social counter.

You should consider to update the theme in order for the social counter to work properly. Here is an update guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

Hi,

Usually even 256M would be enough for most websites, maybe the website is crashing due to other issues. You could check the error logs that are kept by the server, that could provide some indication about the problem.

Also check some common causes of such a problem

Hi,

You could use a flex block, these have settings to hide the thumbnail
http://prntscr.com/md6117
The rest of the block elements will adapt if the image is hidden. Here are designs made by us based on flex blocks
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Blocks
maybe you can find one that already looks the way you want, each can be imported through cloud library plugin
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

There is no problem with it from what I can see.

Hi,

There was some work done on the servers, should be no problems anymore. Sorry for the inconvenience.

That could mean the syntax of the code you are entering is not valid, seems to mention an accolade on line 41. You could try again, make sure the code is valid as in my example
https://www.screencast.com/t/BClxC9xDE

Maybe this will be set as an option for the header builder that is being developed at the moment, I can’t say for sure.

Where are the links leading to? if you plan to link them to posts, you could use blocks.

For example these cloud library blocks created with flex blocks
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/single/page/Blocks/473
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/single/page/Blocks/492
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/single/page/Blocks/472
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/single/page/Blocks/457
There are many others – https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Blocks

Each can be imported with the cloud library plugin
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

Hi,

I see you used the code from above, the sidebar doesn’t disappear at the end of the post from what I can see – http://prntscr.com/md56wl
That code simply adds some more space from the top. It will affect only posts, on pages you could try something like this and see if it works properly

.page .td-pb-span4.td-is-sticky .wpb_wrapper{
top: 50px!important;
}

Thanks

I checked it, the issue is no longer seen. Disabling that plugin seems to have solved the problem.

Hi,

There is a guide here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
To be safe make a full backup before you update the theme.

If you made modifications to the theme files directly these will be lost, anything else will not be affected. The theme panel settings, ad codes, custom code is saved in the website database. But it is safer to make a backup as well.

Thanks

Hi,

@fatih
We could take a look at it, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, also cPanel or FTP if possible. Mention as many details as possible about the issue you are facing. Include a link to this topic in the email.

I haven’t tried that plugin unfortunately, but you could make some tests with it. With the default post templates ACF works, it is only the cloud templates that are more special. Sorry for the inconvenience.

So you want the flag icons to be closer together? Maybe like this
http://prntscr.com/md4zwp
I could modify it if it doesn’t work properly or you wanted something different

.sf-menu .menu-item-wpml-ls-85-hr > a {
padding-right: 5px;
}
.sf-menu .menu-item-wpml-ls-85-en > a {
padding-left: 5px;
margin-right: 18px;
}

Let me know.

Hi,

From what I can see the website looks alright at the moment, the images are displayed
http://prntscr.com/md4uejhttp://prntscr.com/md4uvz
Should I check anywhere specific in the website? Or maybe you solved the problem you mentioned.

Thanks

Hi,

If it applies successfully then the selected strings should appear on top of the list, or in the drop-down as in my case – http://prntscr.com/md4sba
You could make a quick test to see if the same happens while having only theme plugins and WPML active.
If it does, I could take a look. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thanks
