Copy the module you want in the child theme (create the same directory path to the file as in the main theme). Opening a module file you can see what it is designed to display, for example module 1

The child is useful if you want to make modifications to theme files, add code in the theme files etc. Basically modify the theme and not loose the settings over an update.

You can use the composer to create/import cloud post templates. This will require the cloud plugin. So you can create post templates and apply them to posts, not actual posts.

You should use images bigger than the required thumbnail sizes for good results

The theme will create thumbnails from the images you set as featured, these will be used in various elements.

So the results will be different depending on what aspect ratio the image has and module used

So basically you can use bigger images as featured, only thumbnails from them will be used, this will not cause problems with performance by loading the full size of the images.

If the thumbs are not created properly, please check if the GD library PHP extension is enabled on the server

We are aware of this issue, shortcodes entered in column texts for example will be rendered upon re-editing the page. The result is that the shortcode cannot be edited or modified anymore and it has to be reinserted.

That would not be possible, the article ads are part of the post content, while the sharing is a different section or element.
That is the case when using default post templates and cloud library templates.

But there are some solutions you could consider. Using default post templates there could be a solution, it will require that you enter the ad with a shortcode in the post template file, instead of using the article top spot.

So you would need to do something like that and place the code above the top sharing, for the post templates you want.

I tested with the latest theme version and WPBakery included in the theme package (5.5.4), seems to work properly.

Try to test with no other plugins besides the theme plugins active, to see if there is a conflict. Let us know.

By a theme option that would not be possible. Once the ad codes are entered in the theme panel they will be displayed in all posts.

You could use cloud templates for posts, the ad codes can be entered in the template directly in this case. Preview a post template here then edit it
