Hi,
The titles are there, but they are invisible. It seems you might have used a white color in this setting
– https://www.screencast.com/t/2DiQgP0TybF
Try to clear it or select a different color in that field, then check the results.
Thanks
Hi,
There is no need to start a new topic with the same questions, let’s continue the discussion in your previous topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/i-want-to-change-the-color-and-size-of-the-top-demo-header-menu/
If the suggestions are not what you want, provide more details about what exactly you want to do.
Thanks
Hi,
So you mean the sidebar allocated space in the WordPress text editor. If a sidebar is set the sidebar space will be reserved, if there is no sidebar the post content will be the full theme width (it is limited by the theme). This way you can see how the post content will look when published as you write it.
This delimitation could be removed, by removing the max-width in this theme file

Hi,
When a demo is uninstalled, all the demo related content will be removed (demo posts, menus, categories etc) The theme panel settings will also be reset.
Your own created and published posts and pages will not be affected (unless you manually edited demo posts and pages and modified them instead of creating new ones).
These would be the things to keep in mind in this case. Installing a new demo will import it’s design (all demos have custom design, except default demo) and new theme panel settings. The demo home page will be provided only if you install the demo with content. If you don’t install it with content you could re-create it manually or copy it fro the demo files. Some more useful topics here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/after-import-demo-not-like-preview/
Some users have local copies of the website, useful to test plugins, updates, and even switching demos. This would be more safer then doing it in the live website.
And remember to make full backups before making any major changes, just to be safe.
Thanks
Hi,
Indeed, somehow I forgot to mention that, sorry for this. Currently only the tagDiv composer and social counter are updated automatically when the theme is updated, all others have to be updated manually. We introduced a notice in latest theme versions as a reminder.
However glad the problem is solved
Thanks
Hi,
Try to deactivate and remove the newsletter plugin, and install it again from here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/KtuFexTj4q
If you recently update the theme, be sure to update all the theme plugins. The tagDiv composer and social counter should be updated automatically.
Thanks
Hi,
The img tags should be converted automatically to the amp-img tags, by the plugin. Like it happens for all the other images in the posts, seems images entered in the copyright field are not converted however. I have already added this on our list and the developer team will take a look as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience. You could for the moment to manually replace the img tag, and use amp-img tags to have valid AMP pages.
Thanks
You could consider and try something else maybe, for example, if there is no featured image set, display a placeholder image of your choosing in the top post header. Try this condition in the post template 7 file
This is the modified template 7 file (single_template_7.php) you could give it a try
– https://pastebin.com/8wieaZKU
Replace the URL with an image of your choosing.
For database advice I cannot help you, that should be done and tested by professionals, since unpredictable things can happen.
Hi,
That would be the current functionality yes, there is now method I could provide you to chnage it unfortunately. Both the default responsive version and also the mobile theme will do the same, once the menu or search is accessed and the modal is opened, the page will scroll to top. Sorry of this is an inconvenience.
I will however add this on our list of suggestions and maybe in the future a different functionality will be considered.
Thanks
Hi,
The embed form seems to be missing for you, try to force refresh the page (should be Ctrl+Shift+R) or try in a different browser. Let us know the results.
Thanks
Hi,
You can use the other, more reliable theme update methods
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
We and most users recommend the FTP method as the first choice in the matter. The automatic update may fail sometimes.
Thanks
Hi,
That would be the current functionality. A background set in the theme panel will apply to all the website, there is no option to apply a background for specific or preferred pages.
Through the composer you can set background videos, colors or images for the elements. This will not cause the website to be boxed. But once a general background is set, the whole website will be boxed. Only header and footer elements can be forced in width
– https://www.screencast.com/t/fIGRvvl9p
Sorry for any inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
So the website is not displaying on mobile, using the mobile theme plugin and super cache. Please try as a quick test to deactivate all your other plugins, leave theme plugins and super cache active. Also clear the cache. Then test again to see if the problem is solved, which should happen. Let us know.
Thanks
Hi,
Try to increase the WP-memory parameter, this is a guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If needed contact your hosting provider for assistance with the preferred method. If there is still a problem, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login access, FTP and cPanel if possible as well. We will take a look at the issue. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
Hi,
This is interesting, there were no other similar reports. They seem to mention modifications made to the ad code, indeed this has to be entered as it is provided by Adsense. Copy it from where it is provided and paste it in the theme panel. Then either choose the auto size, or defined size by you. Let us know what you find out further.
Thanks
Hi,
You can simply follow the theme update guides
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
It is good practice to try and keep WordPress, the theme and the plugins updated to the latest versions when available and also possible.
There were many changes from 7.0 until the latest 8.8, check the changelog at the bottom of this page
– https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609
Be sure to make a backup before updating, just to be safe. Also review the theme requirements
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thanks
Hi,
The revolution slider included in the latest theme version is 5.4.7.3. Uninstall your previous version and install the one from the latest package
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-install-revolution-slider-v5/
Thanks
Hi,
The mobile theme may not support switching menus or multi-language implementations and plugins for this. It is designed to be as simple as possible with limited functionality, for improved performance.
It is also optional, you could deactivate it and have the same usability as on desktop. That would be a solution in this case.
Thanks
Hi,
1. As of the latest theme version, the tagDiv composer can be used to create post templates, category templates etc, not only pages
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
– https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-8-8-update-what-s-new/
The composer will be loaded on every page, post etc, this cannot be disabled there would be no setting for that.
2. No need to use two AMP plugins, that could only result in problems. Choose a plugin and use it. Our AMP plugin may not have as many settings currently as do other plugins. We will try to add more in the future.
Analyze what you require and choose the appropriate plugin for AMP.
Thanks
Hi,
It should be like in this example for a single post template, first select the template you wish to import and click on it
– https://www.screencast.com/t/TcqznPFtMaX
Then click create template and the composer should open with an import dialog
– https://www.screencast.com/t/XU7eqxb8upFW
– https://www.screencast.com/t/vH1JwOLKoyw
Or as you edit a created template with the composer, use the load template button
– https://www.screencast.com/t/EV1DM7HVg3S
– https://www.screencast.com/t/YJnQD8BXl
That will replace the previous template, if maybe you do not wish to have many templates created. What button is not appearing exactly? Try to clear the browser cache, or force refresh the page. Let us know.
Thanks
Hi,
You could first check the theme system requirements panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
In some cases insufficient WP-memory caused 500 errors, increasing it solved the problem. Also check if the required PHP extensions are enabled, especially mbstring. Let us know. Once you make changes if required, attempt to update again, by FTP
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
The composer and social counter should update automatically, if this does not happen for you, update them manually.
If you use a child theme, try to temporarily switch to the main theme and then update. Let us know what you find.
Thanks
Hi,
The plugin is optional, if you do not require it’s new features and access to the tagDiv cloud library you could uninstall it
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
However this has been a long requested feature, the possibility to design a post template, category template, author template and many others as you want.
Thanks
Hi,
There is a gallery provided by the theme
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/gallery-2/
In pages built with the composer you can add the same gallery like mentioned in this topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/need-to-insert-a-grid-gallery/
Thanks
I tested those pages as well, don’t see any problem with them
– https://www.screencast.com/t/cPKydQ0kn
Only when the mobile theme plugin is enabled there would be a problem in this case. Pages built with the composer will show empty of content on mobile. In that case you will have to enter content in the mobile editor
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Hi,
There are some things you could check, these are a few topics
– https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/fix-not-allowed-access-page-error-wordpress/
– https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/fix-sorry-you-are-not-allowed-to-access-this-page-wordpress
Could be caused by permissions or security plugins or maybe server security modules.
Thanks
