Hi,

@rihasi
Please try to provide all the details in one posting, if you keep replying in the topic you will only delay the response. We answer from oldest to newest. Note the support hours mentioned in the top right corner as well.

You mention you had problem using the multi-purpose plugin since purchasing the theme, you could have mentioned this before. We would have investigated the issue. The HTTP error is an internal server error.

You could try these suggestions. Reinstall theme by FTP
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Deactivate and remove the theme plugins and install them again from the latest theme package. Deactivate all other plugins, leave only theme plugins active. Clear all caching and CDN cache if used.

Check if the error is still present. If it is, that would mean there is a problem with the hosting server. Check with them, mention the theme requirements
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Maybe there are also logs kept by the server that could be helpful to identify what is causing this problem. Let us know the conclusions.

Thanks

Hi,

@aqin_fh
I have inspected the website, there is no problem with the thumbnails at the moment from what I can see
https://www.screencast.com/t/VAxoooYsPavo
There are no issues while responsive as well. The thumbnails in the big grid are of the required size so there should not be any issues.

Thanks

Hi,

That would not be possible with theme options, you could try plugins for that. There could be drop-down content plugins that could be inserted in the post content. I too have seen similar sections over time, but never took the time to actually check what was used.

You could search for drop down content plugins, or maybe tabbed content plugins they are called.

Thanks

Hi,

@homzik
You could test with the Total cache plugin disabled (and delete cache). Adding /amp should work, check this live demo post that uses AMP
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_crypto/td-post-ethereum-millionaires-attract-attention-from-regulators/amp/

@midronepro
The menu will not be displayed on AMP pages. Similar to the Yoast website
https://yoast.com/social-media-optimization-with-yoast-seo/amp/

Hi,

The theme panel settings can be exported/imported when migrating the website
https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
Anything else would be standard website migration
https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress
http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-move-wordpress-to-a-new-host-or-server-with-no-downtime/
The duplicator plugin is highly recommended in the matter.

The positioning of the slider has a simple explanation. In the first website you provided, the politics demo is installed.

By default all pages have a padding top set by the theme, the politics demo when installed will deny that padding with a negative margin
https://www.screencast.com/t/uTFFjjKq
https://www.screencast.com/t/ZOZJnCEq1Q

This can be achieved without installing the politics demo. Either remove the padding top with CSS, or set a similar negative margin to the row containing the slider
https://www.screencast.com/t/bpsVWamZy
https://www.screencast.com/t/ZOoL1dF8Zc

The Envato plugin may not be the best method to update. There are other more reliable methods
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
By FTP is the most recommended among all of them. Also remember to update the theme plugins as well.

Hi,

Indeed, it seems the mobile menu is not working at all, neither is the mobile search. There are some errors in the page – https://www.screencast.com/t/GGXuax2iB

The first step would be to deactivate all plugins as a quick test, leave only theme plugins active. Next go to your cache settings and clear the cache. Then check if then issue is solved. This would help determine if a plugin is conflicting with the theme.

Hi,

You could enter the provided shortcodes in text elements. They should be displayed. Like this example for a contact form with a shortcode
https://www.screencast.com/t/SA0G6t7iXwY
Be sure to save the page and view it after placing the shortcode

Hi,

You can test amp pages by adding /amp in the URL of a post page, this way you can see if there are any problems. There should not be any issues. The AMP template is not related to default single templates. This is a demo post with AMP enabled
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_crypto/td-post-ethereum-millionaires-attract-attention-from-regulators/amp/

Indeed, the theme now supports PHP 7.2 you can use this version and there should be no problem.

The newsletter currently can use embed codes from these providers
https://www.screencast.com/t/9Sq20lhuVn
There might be more added in future updates.

Hi,

Maybe I am misunderstanding this, but the date can be displayed in the URL by changing the permalink structure
https://www.screencast.com/t/8lIdsfwm
Or even create custom permalinks

Hi,

1. That would be the ajax filter, please edit the page with the tagDiv composer and edit/disable this filter for the block you want
https://www.screencast.com/t/8ywBJPp9TQ87

2. Indeed the next/prev article links in the post page are simple links, they will not display thumbnails. That could only be done with theme modifications.

Hi,

Hi,

There are options in the theme panel to remove the category tags by module. The big grid slide consists of 2 module types. Please go in Theme panel->Block settings->Category tag on modules/blocks and disable these modules
https://www.screencast.com/t/8miedAmAaH

Hi,

1. The comments title does not inherit the general block header style set in the theme panel. It could be made similar to block header style 6 you mention, with code
https://www.screencast.com/t/nLzZcsWo26lm
This is the code used, enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS
https://pastebin.com/Weeh8D5G

2. You could use a text with title widget, enter the links you want in that element. It also has settings to style the heading style

Hi,

If the theme has been installed properly (by FTP) and you have also updated the theme plugins (now version 2.0 – https://www.screencast.com/t/xpcpclogUB6V) please deactivate all other plugins as a quick test, leave only theme plugins active. Clear all caching installed and CDN cache if used. Also clear browser cache.

In case the issue remains after trying these suggestions, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information. We will investigate further.

Also include a link to this topic in the email.

Thanks

Hi,

The background of the modal window can be changed in the theme panel. If the mobile theme plugin is not enabled these are the settings
https://www.screencast.com/t/gItsB41rW5O
https://www.screencast.com/t/GfnB59WTLuU
If the mobile plugin is active, there is a special section for it
https://www.screencast.com/t/KDktHZFA
More information about the mobile theme plugin here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Facebook or social login is not available in the theme. That could only be done by modifications to the theme files or through a plugin. Similar topic here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/where-i-can-add-a-line-of-custom-php-code-on-the-login-page/

This could be available by default in the theme, after a future update. I cannot say for sure however.

Hi,

Plugin content may not display at all on AMP pages, or could cause issues. Only content created through the MCE editor will be displayed. The plugins used will probably have to be optimized for AMP, there is no solution in this case.
You can simply deactivate the AMP plugin and keep using the plugin you mention. Or search for other plugins that have the capabilities you need and make tests.

Note that AMP can be selected by post
https://www.screencast.com/t/6seYK8z8fB

Hi,

You could search and try plugins that have this capability. I believe there are plugins that you can use to create tables.
Usually plugins provide shortcode implementation, so you can enter them in the post content directly. Or maybe there are plugins which you can use to create tables as you make the post.
I could not make any recommendations in the matter, we have not tested such plugins up to this point.

Thanks

Hi,

That feature was available before, I believe from the previous theme version. When building pages with the tagDiv composer rows can be stretched to predefined values or full width
https://www.screencast.com/t/B6U92CNq
That is the setting used in creating the demos you mention. Also the header and footer sections can be stretched (demo uses this option as well)
https://www.screencast.com/t/xBmHjrXyJZ5A

Thanks

You could simply place the like button code on a page, in a text element
https://www.screencast.com/t/9BVouSrr
https://www.screencast.com/t/GuZpcMA1
Or edit the page template files and enter the button code there, to appear on all pages that use a particular page template

Indeed, the theme plugins should also be updated as well, after updating the theme itself. This is mentioned in the update guides
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

I have tested the solution provided by email. I made the modification in this file
https://www.screencast.com/t/lK12oza4xA
The result is that fourth and fifth level sub-categories are now visible in the filter tab
https://www.screencast.com/t/bA0rbDeVQKza
I believe that is what you wanted to do. The solution seems to work.

Hi,

Indeed, please update the theme plugins as well. The tagDiv composer and multi-purpose plugin versions are now 2.0. So please update the theme plugins as well, after the theme.

Thanks

I thought you wanted to affect the menu items, not create links in the post or page content as suggested above.

If it really is the menu where you want to make this modifications, please check if the link target attribute is enabled in the screen options
https://www.screencast.com/t/uQMI7MJDPu
Enable it if it is not and the parameter will display for each menu item.

If this does not solve the issue, please deactivate all plugins, leave only theme plugins active. There were cases when plugins caused menu settings to not be displayed.

Hi,

The multi-purpose top bar style difference from other styles, is that it can display additional elements if needed
https://www.screencast.com/t/e8mRQhGMIDr4

Regarding the positioning, you mention the weather and date should be on the left, they already are when using top bar style 1
https://www.screencast.com/t/VmYzztxwP7nS
They are followed by the top menu if used, then the social will be on the right side. The top bar can also be stretched to predefined widths or to full if needed. This is useful in case you want to display many elements in it, or there are many menu items
https://www.screencast.com/t/3et7MRHNI

Thanks
