Hi,
I believe you could be referring to the Latest articles section present on the bottom of the page. This section cannot be edited with the composer, it has it’s own settings
– https://www.screencast.com/t/KnB7bIR20ujj
If this is not what you wanted to know, it would be helpful if you could provide more details, for a better understanding.
Thanks
Hi,
@Xavier I cannot see the website you provided, it could be in maintenance mode at the moment
– https://www.screencast.com/t/4miz3SXo0
If you use high quality source images, there should be no problems of this kind. You can see in the theme live demo, there is no issues regarding thumbnail quality
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
Thanks
Hi,
That image can be changed by editing the page with the composer. This is a similar topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-can-i-change-travel-demo-main-bag-ground-image/
Thanks
Hi,
The page seems to be loaded, but something in the background is causing a delay. Check with the browser inspector if there are any errors present. Additionally try deactivating all plugins except theme plugins, and clear all caching installed.
Then repeat the test and see if the issue is still happening.
If you could provide a link to your website, we will inspect it.
Thanks
Hi,
You could use header style 7 which is similar to what you are trying to do. If that is not an option, maybe this would be possible with some CSS. Please provide a link to your website, and we will try to give you a solution.
Thanks
Hi,
You could try the plugin you mention and others, maybe you can find one that has the options you need to create these special post series.
The theme page builders cannot be used on posts, posts can only be created using the MCE editor and it’s options. So you could use a plugin for the posts, that could insert the structure you mention inside the post.
Thanks
Hi,
That is the thumbnail size used by the module. If you were to change this thumbnail size it will affect every instance where the module is used, not just the search section.
Thumbnails can only be enabled/disabled in the theme panel, they cannot be modififed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
If you want to try and change the module that is used in the search, you could make the modification in this file, but this will probably require other modifications as well

Thanks
Hi,
You can install any of the available demos, please see these guides
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/demos_introduction/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
Then use the tagDiv composer to edit and create pages
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
If there are problems installing a demo, or you have further questions please do not hesitate to mention them. We will help you as soon as possible.
Thanks
Hi,
Please do not post sensitive information in the topic (license key, login details etc) The topics here on the forum are open to all theme users. I have edited the post and removed it. If this kind of information should ever be required, we will ask that you provide it by email.
There was a theme update today containing some improvements and the latest version of Visual composer.
To update the theme please check this guide, the steps for each update method are mentioned in it
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Please check again on Themeforest, the latest theme version is available for download.
Thanks
Hi,
We have updated the theme, and included the latest version of Visual composer (5.4.4) There should be no further issues with the paragraphs. You can check and see if that is the case.
Previously Visual composer could be installed from the theme plugins section. Since Newspaper 8 it is no longer a required plugin, the tagDiv composer is the main page builder. This composer will receive many options in the coming updates, created specially for it.
Thanks
Hi,
If you did not use Visual composer for the website, you can safely deactivate it. No point being active if it is not needed.
Thanks
Hi,
The website seems to be in maintenance at the moment. Without inspecting it, I could not provide a solution. Try inspecting it with the browser inspector and maybe identify what needs to be done. Check the CSS on the image. Maybe that is the natural size of the image, and it is displayed as it is.
Thanks
Hi,
I have inspected it again, now it seems to link to this post page
– https://thatisy.com/nara-rohit-balakrishnudu-trailer-talk-intense/
That would mean you changed the link. I have tested this on Chrome and Firefox, the link works properly from what I can see
– http://prntscr.com/hbpg9f
Thanks
Hi,
Please provide a link to the page where this is happening so we can inspect the issue further.
Thanks
Hi,
The map is not displaying at the moment on the website, at least for me it does not
– http://prntscr.com/hbp0ic
However the map iframe seems to cover the category description and other elements. It could be made to display properly in terms of positioning, like this
– http://prntscr.com/hbp28a
Enter this code in Theme panel->Custom CSS and check if it fixes the positioning
.category .google-maps iframe {
position: relative;
}
Thanks
Hi,
That is the recommended logo size for the first three header styles
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/
The logo used should be of this size for best results. You can make customization to the header if you wish. Use the browser inspector to identify the elements used and the classes and create custom code
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
Basically adapt the header style for a bigger logo if that is what you want.
Thanks
Hi,
It would be best to make the update to the latest theme version, only then update WordPress. Older theme version may not work properly with latest WordPress. This is an update guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thanks
Hi,
Please update the theme first to the latest version. Then update WordPress as well, there should not be any problems. See this guide for theme update steps
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thanks
Hi,
I could not say if this is considered a propriety at the moment. Even the WordPress widget needs a custom function to achieve this. Maybe in will be considered at a later date, I cannot make any promises.
The theme blocks have filtering and sorting available, you could find a solution using default block options
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
Thanks
Hi,
The images that are set as featured are to small to allow the creation of bigger thumbnails, like this one for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ggKpHucmp5W
Big grids require bigger thumbnails to dispaly
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
So in this case you could either set bigger featured images for the posts, or use a thumbnail upscale plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-vs-featured-image-size/
Thanks
Hi,
I believe you are referring to the More articles box
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/more-articles-box/
This can be activated in the theme panel and configured. It will be displayed on posts after activation.
Thanks
Hi,
The lightbox can be disabled, but the featured image cannot have a custom link set. An option would be to use a post template that does not display the featured image on the post page (like style 5 or 12)
Set a featured image normally, and add the image with link you want in the post content. It should produce the result you want.
Thanks
Hi,
Much has changed in the theme since that version. In Visual composer as well. The best method would be to recreate the page with the latest version of Visual composer from the theme package.
Note that in Newspaper 8 the tagDiv composer was introduced, this page builder is the main page builder at the moment
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
In future theme updates a considerable amount of options will be added for this composer only.
Icons in the menu can be entered like this
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/main-menu/
Thanks
Hi,
We are aware of the issue with the image captions, after the WordPress update. We will release a theme update that will fix the issue as soon as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
If you would like to try and resolve the issue, try editing the theme stylesheet here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/l1hDDIy7
Remove the !important tag from the code
– https://www.screencast.com/t/7LTyVdUR
Or wait for the theme update.
Thanks
Hi,
I really couldn’t say. The slide is a dynamic element, unlike default blocks. If there were an easy solution I would give it to you. Keep trying if you want to achieve this.
Thanks
