If you do not have backup, I believe there is no way of reverting the changes made to the database. Maybe the hosting could have an automated backup system, you could check that.

The post social sharing will probably not work properly, even if you managed to add them to the page templates. This should not be attempted, the sharing is designed and implemented in the post page.
There are many sharing plugins that you could try if you require additional sharing options. Please search for some plugins for sharing, and try a few of them until you find what is required.

You could ask for help or advice from the hosting provider for the modification of those WordPress and server parameters. This might be the cause for the issue. After making the changes, check if the theme panel is saving properly.
The theme is compatible with PHP version up to 7.1, higher versions could cause issues.
Also you could try to deactivate all the plugins except theme plugins, and test again to rule plugins.
If you use custom code in the theme panel, remove it for testing. Switch to the main theme if you use a child theme.

The Instagram section in the footer will be full width, there is no option to modify the width. You can modify the number of rows and images per row and also set a gap between the images, but for the width there is no setting. It will take the full width of the container.

You could ask your hosting to make them for you if needed. Then see if the issue is solved. Also check the PHP version, the theme is tested with PHP versions up to version 7.1 anything higher could cause issues.
