Hi,
1. There are no options to modify the theme width, this could only be achieved through custom code or modifications to the theme files. It is not recommended to do this however because there is a risk you will damage the theme, as all the elements on the page depend on the fixed width.
The background ad can be set like this
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-ads/ and it will be displayed in the background of all the pages.
2. You can set a default user role to the users that register on your website here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/m4fGEnfvg9
For the emails you could use a plugin with this capability, that can send the email you want to these users.
3. Here is a link to the official Woocommerce plugin documentation – https://docs.woocommerce.com/
I don’t understand what logo you want to display in the header section, you can have only a website logo in the header. Maybe you could fins a plugin that could offer this capability, to have custom Woocommerce cart logo.
4. You can find the information you want to help you set up these community plugins, and get started here
– https://codex.bbpress.org/
Thanks
Hi,
Please make sure you have this enabled generally and on the images used in the posts
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ttBfEMdM
If you have done this already and it is still not working, maybe a plugin is causing this. Please try and disable all of them, except the ones provided with the theme, clear any caching installed and check again. Also provide a link to your website pointing to this issue if this does not fix the issue, so we can take a look.
Thanks
Hi,
If the website is loading slowly, here is the recommended cache plugin and the settings to use for best results
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
And some advice to help improve page loading speed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Please note that also plugins can have a negative effect in this matter. For the link you have provided above you can see the time spent on loading all the resources – https://www.screencast.com/t/ylP6a4Tcc
You need to identify the causes and remove them, or think of a way to optimize them further.
Thanks
Hi,
You can change the color for the menu, as well as for the footer in Theme panel->Mobile theme section
– https://www.screencast.com/t/hQaJVZB6VUC
Content for the pages when using the mobile theme must be entered through the mobile editor
– https://www.screencast.com/t/MHHBfeJtMya
More information about the mobile theme here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
The mobile theme is meant to be as light as possible for the best performance on mobile devices. The css file can be found here – https://www.screencast.com/t/GBH5AeUfso if you would like to modify this file directly. Please note that you could use the custom code section available for the mobile theme if you want
– https://www.screencast.com/t/cjvzI1yd
Thanks
Hi,
Please make sure you have updated the social counter plugin to the latest version, from the theme package. The configure it using this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
Then clear any caching installed. Please note that there could be some delay for the data to refresh, so you should wait for a little time. If it is still not working properly, please provide a link to your website, so we can take a look.
Thanks
Hi,
The sidebar for the posts will be inherited from the primary category, unless a sidebar is specified. Then it will override this inherited sidebar – https://forum.tagdiv.com/primary-category/
If you want to have a sidebar for all the posts in one category, just set a primary category for them. You could use the featured category for example. The sidebar set on that category will be displayed on posts. Or manually set a sidebar for these posts.
Thanks
Hi,
You can only choose from the available block pagination – https://www.screencast.com/t/16IjtKsL
These are the only options for the blocks at the moment.
More information about the block settings here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thanks
Hi,
Maybe you can configure the plugin it from the settings rearding positioning, to stop causing this issue. At the moment it seems to work properly on desktop and mobile
– https://www.screencast.com/t/k7JPBMf5
I could not give you a code that will stop this from happening on all levels, and also keep the theme and plugin functionality unaffected.
You could search for another plugins that have these capabilities and try them, maybe other plugins will work properly and not interfere with the website and cause problems.
Thanks
Hi,
You can not set a video playlist as a widget in the sidebar. You could add it as a normal element in a split row sidebar however – https://www.screencast.com/t/hEc2NxtaA – https://www.screencast.com/t/bP2CKQDj
If you would like to have a bigger logo, please note that Header style 9,10 and 11 do not have a limit for the image used in the logo – https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/ and you can set as logo a full image for example.
The ad code for the header must be entered in the Header section in Theme panel->Ads
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-ads-adsense/
The social sharing top and bottom in the post page can be disabled like this
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/sharing/
The ad can be removed in Theme panel->Ads in the respective section. If that is the article bottom ad you have to remove it here – https://www.screencast.com/t/W3UpvEmE7
More about using article ads here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/
The Latest articles section is always displayed on the bottom of the page, after the page content. More about page templates here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
If the images are not appearing, make sure you have set a featured image for the posts
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
And you have enabled the thumbs required for the modules, in theme panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
If you are using the optional mobile theme plugin, you must use the mobile editor to ad content for your pages
– https://www.screencast.com/t/82poCQT5Bp
More information about the mobile theme here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you do not use the mobile theme plugin, the same content from desktop will be displayed on mobile devices. The theme is fully responsive, and will adapt to every screen size.
Thanks
Hi,
Unfortunately we have not made any tests with this pod page you are mentioning. I could not make any recommendations or give advice since the theme was not tried in compatibility with something like this. It may be the case that you will need to make modifications to the theme in order for this to work.
Maybe some users here on the forum can provide you with some information in this matter, and their solutions.
Thanks
Hi,
First of all, please check your theme system status to be set properly. If is not, please try to increase it using our guide in this case, because this can be the source of this issue
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Also, please do not use symbols (!@#$%^&*) for the title of the widgets because it seems that affects the functionality of the sidebar. For more information about the sidebars, please consult our documentation here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/
Thanks
Hi,
To have a Full Big Grid you must go to the row settings and set it like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/mfEWrD0D
The result should be like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/hmoS2hyXWltj
Also make sure you have the required thumbs activated in theme panel, and regenerate the thumbnails if needed
– https://www.screencast.com/t/yT9A92R3
Thanks
Hi,
The Top header menu is not available on mobile. The header menu will be displayed in mobile form. However if you could provide a link to your website where there is a top menu present, I will try to give you a code to make it display on mobile. At the moment I do not see a top header menu present on your website – https://www.screencast.com/t/iBOM4LDkwc
Thanks
Hi,
There are no options to remove the margins between the modules in the Big Grid, this could only be achieved through modifying the theme files, or by custom code. The images on the Blocks and Big Grids should display properly if the posts have a featured image set, and the thumbnails needed are activated
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
Please make sure you activate these in Theme panel, and then regenerate your thumbnails if needed using the guide provided below. Also take note of the requirements for the server.
Thanks
Hi,
If you want to add more custom ad spots, you will have to edit the td_config.php
– https://www.screencast.com/t/qW11XA2B
And register your new custom ad code in two places, like this
– http://screencast.com/t/drqt26uCI
Thanks
Hi,
This is how the theme is designed, as it can be seen in the demo – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
There are no options to change the width of the theme at the moment, these may be added in future updates. In the previous update some possibilities were added regarding the header and footer
– https://www.screencast.com/t/928kcfSaB
And also Full Big Grids
– https://www.screencast.com/t/iGynaxTqro
Additional options may be available in updates to come, but I can not say for sure when this will happen.
You could set a background color or image for your website
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-introduction/
Thanks
Hi,
At the moment there are no options to modify the theme width. There is a fixed width set on the layout, and all elements depend on this. It is not recommended to modify it, because this will most likely break the theme. In the last update there were some width options added by default for some elements, in Theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/P5Gfg7mnMdqE
And also Full Big Grids – https://www.screencast.com/t/iGynaxTqro
More width options will be added in future theme updates, but I can not say for sure when this will happen.
Thanks
Hi,
Please provide more details, is this occurring only for the Slider element or also on other elements on the page. You could try to regenerate the thumbnails needed for the theme, using this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
And also take note of the requirements for the server. After the regeneration process is complete, please clear any caching installed and check to see if the problem is resolved.
Thanks
Hi,
It seems you can not click on any of the footer links in the custom menu even though they are present. Please try to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching installed and check again. Also check any custom code you might have entered in theme panel, or added to the theme files that could be related to the footer, or the menu items. Also double check the menu and make sure everything is in order. Then I see no reason that the menu should not work properly.
Thanks
Hi,
Please make sure you are entering the full analytics code in the required section in theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/hpIAsdt7
The theme comes with a google analytics section where you can add the analytics code but there is one thing to take into consideration. Analytics provides 2 codes a short version and a long version. Most people use the short version and that is wrong. Please use the full version of the code in the analytics field, including the script tags and everything should work properly. Also clear any caching installed after you enter the code. Please note that it may take a little time before the statistics are refreshed.
Thanks
Hi,
@Pcane The developers are working to provide a solutions for this as soon as possible. This will be fixed in the next theme update. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this issue might have caused for you.
Thank you for understanding!
Hi,
This forum is custom made. If you would like to see the capabilities of the theme, you can check the demos here
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
Or the website showcase – http://tagdiv.com/newspaper-showcase/
Thanks
Hi,
Please note that some plugins may not be fully compatible with the theme. This is the case with all the themes, they can not be compatible with all the plugins. We have not made any tests with these kind of plugins, so I could not give you a solution for this. It all depends on how the plugin is interacting with the theme functionality. If the plugin you are using does not have the settings or capabilities that you want, maybe you should look for another one that you can use for your website.
Thank you for understanding!
Hi,
Please provide more details about this, because I do not understand what you are asking. I don’t see any problems with the font color in the footer on your website – https://www.screencast.com/t/2ELXCFpv
Thanks
Hi,
The “Read more” takes you to the post page, so you can read the post. If you would like to remove this link, you could choose a different module for this category, in the per category settings in theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/0oRu8HIQtf
Thanks
