I guess that you don’t use all the theme’s blocks or modules. So first please check what you use on your pages and enable thumbs only for what you need/use – http://screencast.com/t/y406KT7uEK then regenerate thumbnails. Also can do this process when the traffic is low on your site(night for example).

I still haven’t upgraded the theme – but I just found some example page created with version 4 that contains exactly what I need, complete with the Previous (“Edelliset”) and Next (“Seuraavat”) texts with the appropriate arrows. Please have a look:
However, I cannot figure out how that section was created! Could you please tell me what block is in use in that picture and what pagination options I should choose to get that functionality.
(I’m asking because, for some reason, I cannot locate that section in the page editor to check for myself.)
From theme panel you can enable thumbnails but for example
it is 300 X 350 for slide 1 column but i have modified the slider
and it has other dimesion. If I disable the slider thumb it does show please enable from theme panel.
Where to change this dimesions from 300×350 to something else?

Module 6 was not designed to display excerpt, but you can modify it if you want this. Please check another module which has excerpt and copy the code(also set a value for content length), for example – http://screencast.com/t/AEerjyLioZy – http://screencast.com/t/4wCuwMkfDHjI

In primul rand va multumesc pentru raspuns. Nu m-a ajutat foarte mult dar macar am inteles la ce functioneaza unele functii ale temei urmand instructiunile dumneavoastra.
Permiteti-mi va rog sa vin cu o alta intrebare:
Functia de distribuire (share) a temei functioneaza bine, nimic de comentat. M-ar interesa daca aveti idee cumva cum sa fac corelarea corecta intre un plugin de Like & Share (articole) astfel incat atunci cand un vizitator da LIKE pe un articol pe site sa fie actualizat inclusiv la articolul de pe Facebook.
Exemplu: AbSport.ro – este conectat corect la Facebook insa atunci cand cineva da like pe un articol pe site, acelasi articol distribuit anterior pe Facebook ar trebui sa afiseze: Cine a dat like, cati au dat like…etc., si totodata daca se da like pe facebook – sa apara si pe site cati au apreciat postarea.
Se poate rezolva cumva acest lucru?

First the name, date (both with icon in front of like in my previous suggestion 😉 ) and stars after.

You can hide the featured image from a specific post using custom css, using the post-id class like here:
.postid-126 .td-post-featured-image, .postid-139 .td-post-featured-image {
display: none!important;
}
This css hide the featured image form the posts with id=126 and id=139. For each post that you want to hide the feature image just add the post id class flowed by featured image class, and separate it by comma like in example. To get the post id follow this link: http://screencast.com/t/BAJ27Av0ao

You will need custom modifications for this, it is not just a simple css code, first you have to add excerpt for modules used on Big Grid(I guess you refer to this block), for example on Big Grid 1 are used module mx5 and mx6 – http://screencast.com/t/mNeNEpEw You can find them in modules folder if you want to modify it – http://screencast.com/t/GssjjMvHzc please note that these modules are used also on another grids/blocks. And then customize it via custom css. I suggest to hire a freelancer to do this for you if you don’t have php/css/html experience as it is not so easy and unfortunately the time doesn’t allow us to provide custom work, sorry!
Also for your second request you need custom modifications, for reference you can check this topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/conditional-logic-for-menu/#post-20087 it is for old version of the theme, but the principles are the same and you can adjust it.

I have installed Newspaper Theme v6.2 on my website and want to implement the following points to my website but unable to find a solution to it :

But i don’t want the pagination to come like 1,2,3,4… But it works like a slider with Next and previous buttons on top and bottom of the post and which on clicking will make the user move to next part of the post. Let me know how can this be achieved.

4. I have implemented discus comments plugin onto my posts, but it is not getting visible in frontend. I have checked console on inspect element and unable to find a issue. How can this be resolved ? (I have disabled the default comments option of the theme, also the JS of the discus plugin is shown in the source code of the post as well.)

Theme should have nothing to do with your permalinks structure.
Be sure you clear ALL your server/CDN caching.
Did you try just renaming the current page you have for your home page now ?
Just change it and/or the title from “home” to “homepage” for example. Then go to your static setting and choose the new name.

I am having issues with “Block 1” module. I want to order categories as I want, but I see that categories get ordered only by name.
For example: http://prntscr.com/88p9ss , you can see that categories are ordered by the first letter of the name. A, B, C.. etc. Can you tell me how I can order in the way I want.
Also I want to show only 3-4 categories and the others will be at “More” tab.

Check your panel status for the speed booster plugin and make sure it’s active: http://screencast.com/t/a2BBchudPE as it’s set to disable itself if detects an incompatible plugin. I see you use lots of plugins so you should consider that recent versions of the tagdiv speed booster plugin have been designed to disable when it detect incompatible plugins. If you’re not aware of the steps you need to take to improve your page speed score we advise your to hire a freelancer to help you do it because we cannot provide speed customization services at the moment.

There is not an ideal image size for all thumbs, and a way to find what image will fit best would be to do some tests depending what blocks/modules you use most add an image more nearest with aspect ratio of the thumbs in which you want it to look well. Do you want to add a custom ad on your post template to appear only on articles from specific category?
For example you can try something like this: http://screencast.com/t/bCu0neub This custom ad will be displayed only if the article is apart of new-look-2015 category in my example(please use the slug name in the code).

have 2 differents categories:
One is “Concours et Congrès” which is in Article/Comptes-Rendus
The other is “Dossiers” wich is in Article/Autres
1/ As you can see, the beadcrumb don’t show the first categorie name “Article” after the Home (Accueil in french):
Accueil Comptes-Rendus Concours et Congrès Mayette Days
Bug? How to correct that?
2/ This article is on 2 end categories named Dossier & Concours et Congrès but the categories names, up to the title show the names of the relative.
It is not logical.
I prefer that there only is the name of the last categories (here 2 but in the other articles of the site, only one).
How do to that?

For my point of view the feature is very nice… but only for Google search.
Stars make our links in Google more visible.
But in our site there is no interest.
In the article, the block at the end of the article take a lot of space for nothing.
It would be cool if in admin, there a way to use the stars systme but hidden on the site for visitors but not for Google.
If you have any CSS code to hide this block, it will be cool.

1. The banners provided with the theme are just examples, and they are recommended sizes to be used for header, sidebar image banners. You can create your own banner size if you like, and use them according to our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-ad/ To add your banner ad just replace in theme ad spots the url with your banner source url: http://screencast.com/t/YBexMUCv
