unfortunately, there’s something wrong with the blank page template. it is breaking layouts.

a page that displays correctly with the default theme setting displays broken when cloned and set to full page blank template.

Multumesc, Marius! Am reusit sa fac actualizarea prin metoda ftp, iar totul a decurs asa cum trebuie, nu am pierdut nicio setare, nimic.

Sunt foarte multumit de tema Newspaper, dar as dori sa semnalez cateva mici erori:

• Butonul de partajare prin Pinboard nu este afisat corect dupa incarcarea corecta. In timpul incarcarii am observat ca este afisat precum celelalte trei butoane, dar dupa ce incarcarea s-a finalizat, se schimba in butonul clasic – http://www.screencast.com/t/kvcUBLDAY
• Legat de traducere, toate optiunile functioneaza, mai putin doua dintre ele: “We’re sorry, but the page you are looking for doesn’t exist./If you’re not happy with the results, please do another search.” Orice as scrie in campurile lor nu se salveaza
• Reclamele nu sunt afisate dupa optiunile selectate manual. De exemplu la unitatea de anunturi Top Article, am lasat pe auto toate optiunile mai putin cea pentru Desktop, unde am selectat 320/200, dar in continuare este afisata o unitate de anunturi ingusta
• Pe forum, Breadcrumb-ul Forums nu face trimitere la pagina de pornire a forumului, ci la aceeasi pagina pe care te afli

O alta problema, nu stiu daca de tema sau de ce este generata, are legatura cu partajarea pe Facebook. Orice articol doresc sa il partajez pe Facebook, previzualizarea, imaginea, si titlul nu sunt afisate,ci, in schimb, apare un cod: http://www.screencast.com/t/8tpuatxY.

I want to change background of titles on slider with the some color like the menu. And i want to change the gray color on the slider bellow the pics when they are small to the some color like the menu. You can see about what i am talking about on the pic here>

Second issue is with article inline ad. Its showing bellow the title. Not on the half article.

Why not simply create a robots.txt file ?

Robots text file is not needed for SEO; it’s primary purpose is to identify which sections of website NOT to search for robots, and to point at your sitemap.

If you have already submitted sitemap to Google and Bing webmaster tools, it’s kind of redundant for some things.

You might look at my example robots.txt file in the SEO/pagespeed sticky thread, to see what one looks like.

A robots.txt file is intended to give directions to search bots, hence name of file. It’s not seen in Google search results, and has nothing to do with your site content SEO which is all done “on page” and “per post” on your site.

If you need one, simply create a text file: robots.txt and upload to your root area of your website; you may need to change write permissions (775 or 777) if you want something like Yoast to be able to edit the file. Some WordPress installs automatically create the file now, with exceptions to inform robots/spiders to skip the wp-admin folder, etc.

Further: if you put the WRONG entries in your robots.txt file like saying “ignore my posts directory” then nothing will be seen by Google. The robots.txt file is often used to tell Google your site is under construction… if you have such a setting “hide from search engines” in your wp settings > reading … then that may be your issue.

Robots.txt is *NOT* part of the theme.

Hi again, i like to create microsite with newspaper theme, is it possible to use same database with my current site. For example, if i create special category with different background, the post in that category also show the background, same as category background.

Hello, I am having the same problems.

I have W3 Total Cache with only active Page Cache module, but the cache is not updated the same for all browsers.

In Chrome takes time, Firefox and more. For example, in Firefox now shows me the cache of the day May 23. Although tap Empty all caches, not renewed.

I solved the issue about the box layouts and mega menu.

The issue with box layouts was beacause of the old visual composer, I uninstaled mine and instaled yours and it solved.

About the mega menu the answer i found it on your support forum.

I have another issue now with w3 plugin. It wasnt showin last post on homepage and I deactivated the plugin, a now its OK. But i want to work the plugin and the site to be OK. How to do that?

And when i go on my homepage, first is showing blue hover color on the slider, and after that the color that supposed to show. Its the same with the background color on the categories bellow the titles of a posts. You can check that on the pic bellow>

And the menu is white first, than turns to red on homepage.
