I think a lot of people run into this same problem, maybe not even noticing it though, but I don’t think it’s normal to display categories double and therefor fixing it is a custom job.

Also adjusting the color of your menu? Seems like a VERY BASIC function.

If I didn’t already put through the entire installation, I would have. Seriously the theme is amazing, looks great, includes all features. But when a simple question is custom work, I think that’s poor support. I give you the full CSS; only thing you’d have to do is say which class is wrong or right.

But now I’ll have to get a freelancer to change the color of my menu on my 55 dolar theme. Thanks anyway.

I loved this theme at first but am very disappointed in the support so far. I have a few different topics and questions, but can’t seem to get answers.

NVM the transparent background, this would be a cool design element but is not fatal.

I have a serious issue with the MegaMenu: My categories come up twice!
First in the MegaMenu with the posts, and then the normal menu beneath.
Obviously when you have the MegaMenu already appearing, you wouldn’t want the other one to pop up. How can I change this ?
Also the menu item stay blue on hover over?!

I’ve tried to modify it but it’s not working:

I was going for the same thing that mbasche & Nadia are talking about.

Although the Mega Menu is great, I will not use it on my sites unless after I go on the Parent Category and hover on the sub-categories the articles are displayed.

Clicking on sub categories should take me to the category page not refresh the few articles on the right.

When it comes to functionality and UX therichest have done a great job and by implementing this to your Mega Menu you will be doing your customers a great service!

For the last problem, look at the screen it will be more easy to understand :

To get this I have reduce the window and as you can see the item “Essais et comparatifs” get down before the responsive icon appears. This only happens if the menu is larger than 1000px (I guess).

This makes the entire bar transparent, also the content.
How can I do just the background ?

This is not urgent though, some of my other issues such as double categories in the MegaMenu and centering the logo and menu are. I hope to hear from you soon on my other topics!

2. Of course I’ll keep the suggestions and improvements coming. Anyways, BuddyPress is a WP plugin that turns WP to like a Social Networking site. It has groups, activity streams, extended profile pages and etc.

As for the site, I haven’t deployed the site yet that uses BuddyPress. I’m currently testing it via WAMP since its still buggy.

2. Yes, that’s true but since you guys said you have BuddyPress and bbPress support, as users of the theme, we do expect a streamlined experience and UX for those.

I suggest you guys play around BuddyPress and do check for bugs. I’ll be giving my reports, too. Let’s make Newspaper theme the best bbPress and BuddyPress theme! 🙂
