How do I edit the fonts in the CART and CHECKOUT modules in Newspaper?
Here’s the problem > https://imgur.com/a/a6ssuVE
Thanks
Also, could you let me know how to Undo?
I have tried Shift+Z & Ctrl+ Z & Shift+Ctrl+Z, all of them are not Undo. Is there other way to apply Undo feature during editing the page?
I’m running a site at https://www.schoolnewsnetwork.org that has about 90 different categories of content.
The articles (posts) that are created always have at least one category and sometimes multiple categories assigned to the post.
Google Analytics tracks data on individual pages and posts well, but we would like to track data for all the pages in a category of content.
Using the following post as an example, it is categorized as “Grandville”. We can see how many pageviews the post gets.
https://www.schoolnewsnetwork.org/2023/02/01/student-organized-college-qa-panel-earns-high-marks/
We can also see how many pageviews the category of Grandville receives.
https://www.schoolnewsnetwork.org/category/grandville/
But, the only way we can see how many pageviews ALL the posts in the category of Grandville gets over a period of time is to manually find the posts in Google Analytics and add them up.
I have three ideas. Can you review them and give me your thoughts? Perhaps you know of a better method.
1. Change the permalink structure to make it easier to filter in Google Analytics. I would include %category% in the URL structure and set up some rules to redirect content to the new URLs. Our current structure is https://www.schoolnewsnetwork.org/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/ . The new structure could be https://www.schoolnewsnetwork.org/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/%category%
I worry that this might cause some server issues.
2. Adjust the SEO Page Title to include the primary category. Right now the title shows “post tile | site title”. I could add “primary category” to the title. I could then manually sort these in Google Analytics. Seems like a very low-risk way to go.
3. Add a Custom Variable using Google Tags. Not exactly sure how to set this up, but it might be the best solution.
Any other thoughts on how this might be accomplished?
If it matters, we are currently using the UA version of GA, but will be adding G4 very soon.
sorry for my short & unclear questions.
Yes, I am using tagdiv composer for editing the cloud templates.
My questions is that I want to set the style for Category as above images. (light gray frame, with black color text).
Since there is too many options, I just don’t know which parts I need to set. Could you please advise if it is possible?

plx refer above image, you may find that the cloud templates header have not used.
The situation A is that, when I click the result in search engine Google
– if using mobile, the cloud templates header would not used (refer above image)
– if using PC, the cloud templates header will be used
The situation B is that, when I click the result in social megia (e.g. FB page)
– for PC & mobile, the cloud templates header will be used
Thus, my questions is why the cloud templates header for mob version will lose in search engine?
Hi again,
I just updated to NP 12.3 (from 12.1) and WP 6.11 and this gallery issue is still there. Lightbox option is off so that didn’t solve the problem. It’s on both desktop and mobile.

BTW, when you get this error: Error at zones: 6(models) : 1(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z).. you can get around it by Deactivating (Please don’t delete it) the Elementor Header & Footer Builder. I’ve not found a solution on fixing this. Thanks
I need to remove posts from “all” filter and just leave the other 3 filters (hotel con jacuzzi in camera centro italia, hotel con jacuzzi in camera sud italia, hotel con jacuzzi in camera nord italia.
Also I need to display by default the posts from current category. In this case for example “hotel con jacuzzi in camera nord italia”
Hello @mediax!
For example, add a flex block in a post, go to the filter tab of the element’s settings, and from the dropdown category filter, you can choose between: Single – More from author, Single – Related by category, Single – Related from tags.
So, for example, “Related from tags” is displaying articles/posts that have the same tags as the one you are currently viewing. You can also select Related and sort it as Random, for example.
Please keep in mind that in order for the flex block to work, it must be placed in a post template.
You can build a sidebar with the TagDiv Composer. Steps:
1. Insert one new row (or delete an existing one).
2. Divide into two columns (2/3 + 1/3).
3. You can add whatever element you want into the second column and consider it a sidebar.
If you do not mean this, then please let me know exactly, with more information (screenshots or videos), what you need to achieve there, so I can help you efficiently.
Thank you!
Hello!
From which demo did you import this section?
The background should be on the row -> CSS tab.
Take a look here in this video for an example where I build 6 columns: https://www.screencast.com/t/mZ2c5XamTFN
Build the columns and add the elements to every column.
Thank you!
Hello @yy!
Please write the CSS with !important, for example:
color: black!important;
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hello.
I use a prebuilt site, Publication PRO. In Publication PRO, in Single Template, there is a Share button called Single Post Share.
I have set the Buttons text color in TagDiv Composer, but it seems that something is overriding the value.
For example, let’s look at the Twitter Share button: in TagDiv Composer, the Buttons text color is set to #000000, but when I open the actual page and check it from the developer tools, the cyan style is overriding it, as shown below.
.td-ps-text-color .td-social-twitter .td-social-but-text {
color: #29c5f6;
}
Checking the Publication PRO demo site from the developer tools, the same thing seems to be happening.
I gave up on setting it from TagDiv Composer and tried applying #000000 to the same class name as above using Live CSS, but it was still overwritten by cyan.
Is there any way to fix this?
Thank you in advance.
I’ve read a few threads about this, but couldn’t seem to find a resolution.
Running the latest versions of WP and Newspaper.
My site started ramping up the number of processes every time the home page loaded, so much so that I got a nasty-gram form my hosting providing telling me to cool it…or else!
I went through everything I could think of – optimizing databases, caching, etc. and the issue just never went away.
I run a low-traffic site so i could not figure this problem out.
I discovered today that it looks like Newsmag template is causing the issue. When i swap templates – zippy skippy. When i put Newspaper back on, no joy. Testing this a bunch of different ways and always the same result.
I have since found some older posts regarding this issue, but I couldn’t seem to find anywhere that the issue had been resolved.
My site is functionally unusable with the Newspaper theme, so if there is no fix, i’d appreciate any advice on similar styled templates.
TagDiv – i did send you an email at your contacts@ email address with additional info in case you can take a look at my site and see if there is anything that can be done to salvage the speed. I looked a long time to find the perfect template for what I wanted, and would have to have to bail on it and rebuilt with another template if this is salvageable.
Thanks
ST
Thanks for your advise! Indeed it works when you add the Category Background Image after the Category title (with BACKGROUND BOXED LAYOUT off).
What I had in mind was to add the Category Background Image immediately under the main menu bar, for the full width of the category page. But if I do so I find that all pages (including Homepage, Contact page) have an empty space at the very same location as the images on Category pages (td_meta_replacement.png).
I tried to add an image on those pages but if I do that trough tagDiv Composer (Css – Background Image), this added image will be placed over the images on Category pages, not overwriting them but covering them.
In conclusion:
– my best scenario will be no Background Image on Home page, full width Background on Category pages and no Background page on other pages as Contact page for example
– what I expressed before is the ideal scenario, but if there is not possible I can live with your solution
If you have an workaround I’ll be more than pleased to hear it.
Thanks anyway!
Hello,
I’m sorry, I have again a question.
I built a custom author page. As example I used the Romania news pro author box.
I’m using the font “Rubik” like the example does.
Unfortunately the font doesn’t load at all, I can see it in the developer tool in my browser. The Google fonts are turned on in the theme panel.
In the tagdiv composer everything is fine and the fonts are loading from Google.
Do I have to manually add them with @font to my css or something? I thought they will load automatically.
Here is my authors page
Thank you very much!
Best wishes and have a great day
Laura
Yes, this can be done. If you have an example in mind, let me know and I will try to guide you step by step with screenshots.
Hi,
Indeed for this, you need to edit the theme files, for example, on this path wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_data_source.php you can change the popular 7 days – https://i.imgur.com/5VMIaGl.png you need to set the time in seconds, if you want to set it for last 60 days you can replace the number with this one 5,184,000
Thank you!

Thank you for your reply. Following above answer, I have try few time. But cannot re-build above style.
Is it possible to advise for me? Which parts I need to adjust?
p.s. ignore the logo

Hi!
I use Google Fonts (“Mulish”), and has selected this font in both “Theme panel -> Theme fonts” and also in Visual Composer as global font. And it works fine.
But it bothers me that the secondary font used before Google Fonts is finished loading is really different from “Mulish”.
Take a look here: https://postimg.cc/w3fc1Qnm
How do I change the secondary font that is used when Google Fonts is loading? Change it to a standard font that looks more like “Mulish”, for example “Verdana”.

problem detail
: Only one article by a writer on our site Excerpt is unusually long. I don’t know why. In the settings, I set the excerpt length to 15, and other articles are coming out well. How can i fix it?
The strange thing is that if you look at the text in html, & nbsp ; The point is that there are a lot of things called.
This seems to be the cause, but why is & nbsp ; inserted in the text?
I deleted them one by one in the first paragraph, and it works normally again. Then, should we understand that the problem occurred because we read the article with & nbsp ; when copy-pasting the original article somewhere?
However, since the same phenomenon also occurred when writing a new article, it seems that there is something wrong. Please respond.
Thanks for the quick response Bettina,
I deactivated all of the non-essential plugins just leaving the TagDiv & Woocommerce active and also cleared the cache in Chrome and it’s now working!
So I’m not sure what did it but I’m back in business.
Will let you know if anything changes.
Cheers
Steve
Hi Calin,
Many thanks for your reply. The author’s name and URL link are now changed.
The only outstanding item is the accent marks. Oddly, they are only visible if you access the link from a smartphone. Try this link – https://www.mamapeinao.gr/makaronada-me-pantzari/amp/
Can you please advise?
Thank you.
Hi @Bettina
I’m using the mobile theme in conjunction with the official AMP plugin. Is it possible to change the menu behavior to sticky on AMPs?
Thanks,
eC
Hello,
This error is because you have something in the header template, a symbol; please use a revision of the template, for example like that -> https://i.imgur.com/TV3WlHh.png
Thank you!
Hello @eCronik!
No. The AMP works better only with the Mobile Theme plugin. From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit to AMP. Please read all about AMP here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
Thank you!
