1. Shortcodes from plugins such as for example woocommerce, bbpress and other plugins, can be used in the composer, they can be entered in a column text element

Try to enter the shortcodes in column text elements and they should work fine.
2. The mobile theme doesn’t have many settings available, this is for improved performance on mobile. It will present a highly simplified version of the website on mobile, regardless of what is set and used for desktop. A guide here

The plugin is optional, deactivating it will display the same content on all devices, the responsive website. However we will add more settings for it and for AMP in coming updates. If there are any problems in your case, post a link to the website so I can check on mobile.
3. I don’t quite understand what you mean. If you are referring to styling for woocommerce and bbpress, the theme provides minimal design. While it is compatible with such plugins,m it doesn’t add design or more functionality for them.
4. Most headings are predefined, only a few elements in the composer have options to select the heading used. For the rest of theme it would require code modifications to chnage the headings. If you have suggestions please let me know.

Hello,
on my website the theme is not able to load the correct main menu font. The same problem occur for the H2 titles.
The problem it seems to show only on full hd screens. On my MacbookPro retina display and on mobile all the fonts are correct.
Any idea?

My category tag should have a blue background color.
It is fine when viewing the post. The category menu has white text and blue background.
When clicking on any category tag, in the following overview, the background of the tag is white all of a sudden. Since the link-text is still white too, the category menu becomes invisible.
Where does this come from and where / how can I change this?

maybe this was a bug in the official AMP plugin. Today came an update of this plugin and shortcodes are working now.

There are a couple of ways of doing it, depends on the template the category uses however. Do you use default category templates or cloud category templates? For a default category template you could use a bit of CSS, this should work
body[class*="category-paged"] .td-category-description {
display: none;
}
This can be made to work on cloud category templates as well, for example
body[class*="category-paged"] .tdb_category_description {
display: none;
}
These codes should work, if you want to use them, enter the appropriate one in the theme panel custom CSS section. Let me know if you have more questions.

If you are using the mobile + amp option from mobile theme plugin, you’ll get a different homepage on mobile, unfortunately for the moment you can not change the mobile layout, sorry!

Under the Google Search Console > Coverage > Crawl anomaly I’m getting the following entries appended with my blog posts:
/{{td_query_all_results}}
/{{post_url}}
/{{post_cat_link}}
This has only recently appeared in the Search Console. They are a mixture of new and old blog posts that are affected.
All pages load fine including AMP ones.
I have Newspaper V 9.7.2 installed.
I wonder if you can advise on these issue please?

I wanted to wait a couple days after the last update for all the bugs to get figured out and fixed. I tried downloading yesterday from themeforest page and it kept hanging and not completing. Today it’s doing the same. It gets to 73 MB and then just stops and hangs. Have tried 7 different times now with 4 different browsers but same problem.

Additionally, when I try to select sections in the theme panel, they seem to do nothing. They just add an # to the URL.
Is it possible to use AMPforWP plugin with Newspaper theme? I’ve always used this plugin, but on Newspaper is like I never installed it. Nothing has changed and every page and post are still standard and no AMP.

I have already done that, I was hoping you can help me to show one category of the custom post instead of just show all. for example under vents I have a music category. can I add it somehow in the filter tab to call only the posts from this one rather than all the posts under the custom post type events?

I’ve activated mobile plugin and AMP integrated. All works perfectly, but I’m facing a problem with pagination. When I click on the second page of a post, the browser will return a standard page, non AMP.

Hi. I like very newspaper it is a user friendly theme, user friendly, and I really appreciate and respect your work. You are well done and real talents. But there are some unclear moments.
tag div composer is certainly cool. But what about the pages of the store, forum and others? I read a lot of topics offered some complex schemes with page builder to others, but I would like to still at least these pages can be added row and column with the size and insert shortcode. I couldn’t find, and judging by the responses in the topics it not: creating row and column, and paste there the shortcode of any plugin content. Now the site is set up, and the store looks excuse me how very strange it if to put it mildly.
2 an important point is the mobile theme and the problems with it. I tried to set up on the site and what I saw. 1. It’s not customizable. In fact, the settings are displayed in the mobile field, but why if I can configure the display of blocks in the “mobile resolution” icon with the tag div composer, it actually loses its meaning. Need or setup what to show in mobile more convenient, or even what is it then? Another point is the display of blocks at mobile resolution, some blocks especially promo Big grid simply does not respond to mobile permissions, leaving part of the screen view. Why?
3 is a detail of Woocommerce support – in fact she barely made. There are no particular styles, although it would be possible to make them much better. The same as for the Bbpress forum – it is also barely made when it is a long time and it would be worth as a store for a long time to take note.
4 important question – SEO parameters. Are everywhere important in H3 tags and similar others, should be given an opportunity like that in General to manage and edit on a simple span example no H tag at all. But not poking in each block, namely in General to make the setting.

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

I’m currently trying to create my own author template with tagdiv composer cloud template and have the following questions:
how can I display meta data of my users? For example, I have stored in the metadata in which position the user works in which company and would like to display this on my author page. How is this possible?
I would also like to output all posts of a custom post type created by the author. Where can I filter that only the posts of the author are displayed without specifying a specific author? I want to be able to use this template for all my authors.
What is the best way to set a different home page for the mobile + amp theme?
I have a Static Home Page set under wp-admin/options-reading.php for desktop
but we require a different experience for mobile users and so a different page
