I will try to help you.
1. The header style you mention will look like this when on mobile

To see what the sticky mode will show on mobile, activate the sticky view mode

So you can edit the header in all it’s stages, default desktop + sticky desktop, and also default mobile + sticky mobile. In each you can make modifications if needed.
What exactly is hidden in your case? Let me know.
2. If you don’t want the text as logo on mobile, and wish to display an image, first select the mobile viewport and click on the header logo element

Then remove the text and tagline text, and select to show the image logo (you have to upload an image) – http://prntscr.com/nut86c
3. As long as there are elements in the sticky mode, there will be a sticky version of the header. If you want to remove the sticky version, activate the sticky mode for desktop or mobile and remove the elements in the header. Hi @jorgeocampo I have exactly the same problem as you. My database in the wp_options table stores millions of cached entries (transients) and I don’t know how to fix it, I have to remove them by hand every 24 hours or it grows to 250 mb (almost 1 mb per hour). The problem is delimited, is caused by the Style Sheets of Newspaper next to the official plugin AMP.

In order to have sidebar widgets you will have to edit the row layout and then just insert the elements you want. All this can be achieved using the tagDiv Composer. Here is a short example: https://www.screencast.com/t/pmc1WiV3EL And like this you can edit the existing rows too.

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again ( usually when feature images are not load is from plugins that have activate lazy load ).

No. It is not mandatory to update your theme. Even if you skip a few updates you can update later from your version to a more newer version. For example you have 9.2 you will be able to update to version 9.7 Also you can see what the changes are on themeforest changelog.

Depends on what post templates are used. For example in a cloud post template it is a matter of placing both the date and the modified date elements in the template

For the predefined post templates however it would be difficult, it will require code modifications to the post templates which are now in the tagDiv composer. So any modification made to them will have to be remade after a theme update.

I suspect that the theme may have been customised by a previous developer, although I am not well experienced with Newspaper to understand what’s natively in the code and what not.
I run a “diff -r” between the active Newspaper theme directory and a freshly extracted archive of the same version, and the active folder has plenty of additional php/css files. But I am not certain whether this is conclusive evidence that the theme has indeed been tampered with.
Is there a way on knowing whether that’s the case?

From what I can see the full image is available, but when the image is clicked there is an extra parameter in the URL. So while the link to the full image is set properly

I have tested this on my end after the update, the modal seems to work same as before

There are some topics online mentioning such an issue, with “undefined” being added at the end of the URL, can’t say if this applies here or not. For example

You could try as a quick test, to deactivate all non-theme plugins, see if it works after doing this.

I have been hunting around for a while now, even searching the forums and with how active they are I must be doing something wrong?
I’m using the News Week demo and I want to tweak the .td-header-top-menu class border-bottom settings, but I see no where this is exposed in the editor. I also need to modify the font-family and line spacing for body and lists. I found body settings, but it doesn’t seem to take my changes.
The line-spacing option is only exposed as absolute settings in px instead of relative 1.5 (for example). I changed it, but the interface is not updating. Further, it does not appear to be possible at all to modify the list settings? Not sure.
Is the best way to go just to directly edit the CSS? If so – what is the safest way to do this?

I’m not sure if my problem is related but … I have 5 categories and 13 subcategories (across the 5 main categories). Last week my mobile menu would have a small arrow on the far right to open into the sub category. Today I can only see the main category themes. Has something changed or do I need to change something? I re-did the menu and I’m setting the mobile menu in a header cloud template. I am trying to re-create one of my web pages with the use of tagDiv Composer (the page was previously created with WPBakery Page Builder, and it’s layout is broken now pretty badly).
On that page I need some rows to be different for mobile and desktop versions. One solution I can think of is to simply create both versions of the rows and only show one of the rows for mobile and the other one for desktop.
With WPBakery Page Builder I could do that by clicking on a row (column), then Responsive settings, and then ticking the ‘Hide’ checkbox next to the corresponding platforms, like this:
How can I achieve the same functionality with tagDiv Composer?
The only alternative solution I can think of is to use custom CSS with @media queries.

My question is about the authors feature:
Is there a way to have an authors central (hub) page, similar to what I assume the categories main page is?
So in other words, as authors are added, there is an area where authors can be searched directly and their smaller photo and smaller bio preview appears.. like a preview of their main authors profile page, for example?
The page I envision would be similar to this temp development page on my site, but where all authors profile page previews appear.. ideally automatically when a author profile is created:

Also, some sort of searchable, or clickable organization would be good in the long-run.. like specialty based on categories they select, or alphabetical, or both!
Not sure if the theme comes with this or if it makes it easy to create this?
And is there an external author sign up page/process, or are all added by getting editor access via the usual wordpress process?

Hi, In order to comply with the Google News Publishers guidelines, it is necessary to store a 60 x 600 pixel logo for News Stories (not to be confused with the logo displayed on the AMP pages).
