Hello, I currently don’t have any ad. My Adsense account is not approved yet.
I’m just trying to fix this errors, when I search for my website in Google search engine it shows it has AMP errors, and i don’t have an active ad at this moment on my web.

Hello,
I want to change a standard WordPress upload path and URL. I use a special script for it:

add_filter( ‘pre_option_upload_path’, function( $upload_path ) {
return ‘/path/to/static’;
});

add_filter( ‘pre_option_upload_url_path’, function( $upload_url_path ) {
return ‘http://static.example.org’;
});
I’ve used it many times before with other themes and I have never had problems with it.
But, when I try to do it with “Newspaper”, WordPress generated incorrect URL for media files, like (http://domain1.com/wp-content/uploads // home/mydir/domains/files.domain2.com/public_html/wp-uploads/2018/10/test_img-7.png)
Can you help me fix this issue?

Right, I think you misunderstand me. I’m saying AMP is good. But AMP is the only reason to have a “mobile website”. There is no need for Newspaper to have a separate mobile theme because it is a responsive theme. Because it’s responsive, it works on mobile sites. So I’m suggesting instead to just add a conditional statement to show an alternative menu on smaller devices 🙂

Please notice that AMP is important because it helps web pages load faster which potentially improves usability and convinces visitors to stay longer on your site engaging with your content. The logic is straightforward: faster load time leads to better engagement, which reduces bounce rate and improves mobile ranking. It’s an optional plugin!

Indeed a 300x300px thumbnail size does not exist. You could use flex blocks and manipulate the image to have the dimensions you require (it won’t be an actual thumbnail)

Hello carlosn,

Please re-check your ads because the main reasons which might trigger this error are to have some ads incompatible with AMP. All of these should have to be compatible with AMP and for this. Please access your Adsense account and create AMP compatible ads for the amp version of your site: https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/7183212?hl=en -> https://www.ampproject.org/docs/reference/components/amp-ad

Mobile Plugin help - reply

Hi,

The content for mobile pages can only be edited in the mobile editor. When the plugin is active you will have to create two versions of each page. One with the page builder or in any way possible, and one as mentioned above. It will have to be done manually, in the page edit screen (backend).

There was an issue like you describe when the page was updated, empty spaces would appear in lists for example. This is fixed in the latest theme and composer version.

Since we have a responsive theme in Newspaper plus other fantastic AMP plugins, why is there a need for a separate mobile plugin? Is it only related to page speed? That shouldn’t be an issue so much anymore.

5 years ago there would have been a need for a separate mobile plugin, but this Newspaper theme needs no extra theme to worry about. It is a responsive theme. Instead, development should go into a conditional statement to show one menu over another when certain screen sizes are used.

Why doesn’t TagDiv developer use the wp_is_mobile() function to easily and quickly show one menu over another? Here is more info: https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_is_mobile

Can use code like this?

How to customize the advertisement area for a specific category? - topic

I am trying to figure out how to customize placing different ads on top of Category pages. For example, for one of my categories, I need to place a specific static banner ad at the top of the category page (in the header area).

In the “Ads > Header ad” I would really like to use PHP so I can easily include a PHP conditional code to display the special ad on that category, but that area does not allow PHP code… so is there any other way to edit and include a conditional for that category to display a banner ad?

Sample Logo still showing on mobile devices - topic

My logo shows on laptop and desktop devices in the header on the home page. But when I view it on a mobile device, it still shows the sample “Lifestyle Magazine” logo that came with the theme. How can I change that? Thanks so much.

Am I understanding this correctly that the cloud library of templates, I can deploy any type of page template to my theme…and basically “mix and match” page elements from one theme to another?

for example: I like the footer of “Say What” but I like the front page of “Raw and Wild”?

(of course I know I could just build these with TD composer from scratch, but aint nobody got time for that).

Hello, This is my current error that shows me on the search console:
The tag ‘img’ may only appear as a descendant of tag ‘noscript’. Did you mean ‘amp-img’?
First detected: 9/24/18
Status: Error

My website is http://www.diomedesdiazfrases.com and I’m having many problems with my AMP in google. I don’t have currently any Ad active just waiting for adsense account verification..

I am hoping you can help me fix this little issue I am experiencing.

I recently activated the “TagDiv Amp Plugin” and all seems to be working almost perfectly.

I have it enabled and can now view the post from an AMP perspective from going to: https://gadgetgang.com/what-gaming-in-the-future-will-look-like/?amp

However, is there not anyway to have it without the QUESTION MARK (?amp) and just have /amp

I think this is causing issues as Google has still not picked up my amped pages and I am receiving this message in Google Webmaster Tools: http://prntscr.com/l2l93a

Also if i test it on: https://search.google.com/test/amp and place this URL: https://gadgetgang.com/what-gaming-in-the-future-will-look-like/ it says it finds it as /amp but then it doesnt work but if i place /?amp (with the question mark) it works fine.

Is there a fix for this that I can apply to resolve the issues I am having, I hope I have explained myself sufficiently.

Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to minify the style.css file and we cannot recommend any plugins with this functionality because is not tested with our theme. For minifying this file, we are using CloudFlare for our demo and works fine.
