For the first one is ok, this is working but the second one has problem: Main page is working but product page is giving 404 error.

Regarding the issue, it is unusual that you are getting those reports for tag pages. Our AMP plugin will not affect the tag pages in any way, or should this be expected. It applies only for post pages

Tag pages do not have an AMP variant, so why would Google report errors with AMP for them is beyond me. Posts will have the AMP link in the source

But tag pages are in no relation to this. The tag page URL and /amp parameter will lead to a 404 page since it does not exist or mentioned anywhere Google can access it and produce errors.

The theme does not modify the URL of your website, or add such parameters to it.

Hello, I have a problem with the categories and it is that they do not appear to me all. For example, the main category Soccer has categories below and when I open it: Soccer – Senior, until then everything is perfect. But if it has a subcategory, it does not show me all. It shows me as the principal and the Honor Division. When I would have to show myself: Soccer – Senior – Division of Honor. Could you tell me why this happens?

My TD Composer is not working at all, i get a blank page with no error messages.
I just ulpoaded my blog on SiteGround, after building a fast draft in local with xampp (TD Composer was perfeclty working in local). I trasfered the local draft with a Duplicator package.
In the Newspaper’s System Status everything looks ok.
Because the blog is under construction, I installed the “Coming Soon Page & Maintenance Mode” plugin by SeedProd, and there’s a coming soon page active at the moment. Having the suspect that this could create problems i tried to deactivate it for a while, but nothing to do, TD Composer was still not working .
I don’t know what to do, i still have to design the home page and now i’m quite in trouble.
If i create an administrator account for you, can you check the situation?

I’ve got the same issue with my category pagination (desktop website & mobile theme):
“If I use normal pagination clicking on the next page e.g siteurl.com/category/page/2 gives a 404 error.”
I’ve deactivated all plugins (except from theme) and the problem is still there.

The first one (amp version) will give a 404 error whereas the second one will display the posts which have the tag “dry-skin”
Of recent, may be due to google update, I’m getting lots of 404 errors on tags w.r.t. amp version. Whereas the normal version of tag is working fine. When it comes to amp, the search results of tag are giving 404 errors

I am creating a new site, and I am using Newspaper 8 for the first time. I have a question regarding the demos. I like the way some of them look, but I am running into a learning curve with customizing the demo. First I guess, is it possible to customize these demos? I installed ‘Politics’ without the sample content, but on the front page, it shows the site title and tagline as the demo’s ‘World News’ and ‘Politics around the globe’, instead of the site title and tagline for my site. How do I change this? Also, can I edit the front page of the demo? If so, where? Is there a guide for customizing a demo, and for configuring Newspaper 8, overall? I apologize if these are some elementary questions, but I am running into some problems just getting started with the theme.
It took me a quick minute, but I finally found that this error was being generated by the NewsMag theme itself. I’ve disabled all of my plugins (didn’t work), cleared MySQL cache (didn’t work), reset Apache & MySQL (didn’t work)… then, I changed my theme to a default WordPress theme… WORKED!
Anyone else seeing/having this error pop up in their error logs? Anyone know how to fix it?

Is there any way to put for example two different categories with the same name? That is to say:
Category 1: Soccer
Category 2: Soccer
The problem is that if I put the same name and have many categories with the same name and I want to edit them I have to enter each one until I find the one I want.

If you enter the tab of Soccer-Córdoba CF and Classification 2nd Division. Next, in Futsal, Córdoba CF Futsal and 2nd Division Classification, you will see that both are called equal but when you enter the category each one differentiated at the end with two words: one with FB and the other with FS.
And of course, in the meantime simply install the classic editor plugin to keep all the current/past functionality of WordPress until Gutenberg is usable.
To learn to use Gutenberg, it’s advisable to setup a test site in a subfolder of your main site like /ttst/ (or /testt/ etc.); install WP there, install TD theme, install Gutenberg plugin; see what happens, without messing with your live site). Super techie folk can also do that via MAMP or whatever, or a subdomain, etc.
Just food for thought. We’re not going to use Gutenberg on our sites as we have NEWS portals, not blogs, so we don’t need to have 20 direction changes in each post, and a nightmare for syndication, losing custom fields, our shortcodes, etc. — a mess.
Several components are automatically adding the /goto/ component to the URL although you dont’t find it in the html code

How to solve it?
I have a ask for category pages. I am using Yoast Seo 7.9. Pages add “Rel = next” and “Rel = Prev”. However, in some of my categories, “Rel = next” shows non-link pages. For Example, have 6 category pages for this particular category. Looking at the source, the sixth page has a rel=next link to page 7 which doesn’t exist.
“category 6 pages in total” But;

<link rel=”next” href=”http://site.com/category/whatever/page/7″/>
Page 6 last page. On this page “Rel = Next” 7th page shows a link. But there is no 7th page and it shows 404 error.
Does Yoast Seo use his own limit to show as a new page? Theme, I use the default category scheme and it goes to the second page in 15 articles. But when Yoast Seo has 10 articles, “Rel = next” appears and shows the next page. As a result, there are 404 errors on this page.
how can i solve the problem?
I’ve been playing with it a bit this morning on our test site. So far my only real problems are:
– the Gutenberg plugin seems to have added about 21px of white space to the top of each article, below the main menu. Here’s an example page:

– H5 & H6 seem to have disappeared when creating a new post
– there’s a new ‘sub-title’ option, which may be designed to replaced H5 & H6, but I can’t style it in the theme panel to match the rest of my formatting.
Other things I’ve found are related to plugins rather than the Newspaper theme.

following a rather troublesome issue with custom alphabetical taxonomy, I now have created seperate alphabet pages linking them to each other, splitting up the album review section.
The menu links to a mega menu category “music” which also features the “album reviews” section, which houses the most recent posts and should contain a menu to the archive.

I made a “albumrecensies” page with tagdiv composer (last item in the menu), using the flex block. This gives me a fantastic layout of albums, and makes it easy to add a menu to the bottom.

However if I add this to the menu as a mega item, the example articles I get is way too huge and fills up the entire screen, as compared to the regular “muziek – albumrecensies” option in the menu.

The only option I think I have is simply using category pages and hardcoding a menu in it, however I would then like to make it look like the flex block I created with the tagdiv composer; a row of 5 posts with a content stretched to 1400 px.
Is it possible to adjust the link in the mega menu, so that it shows the category page posts in the menu when hovering, but when clicked refers to the custom created tagdiv page ?
Or would I need to adjust the module used on the category to make it look like the flex block I created ?

The page I built with tagdiv composer, which allows me to use a shortcode plugin where I can make use of a custom taxonomy filter, eliminating the use for having a custom taxonomy filter in the tagdiv composer. I have tried adding that option but I failed miserably so…
