we run our blog on a dedicated website path like example.com/blog/blog-post.
Example.com is our independent e-commerce shop.
Now we would like to customize the breadcrumbs, including a home button (or symbol) before the rest of the breadcrumbs, that links to our index page.

We have not tested the auto-ads in our main theme or amp plugin so we canot guarantee they will work properly though. We have only tested the standard adsense ads that require you to use the theme ad spots.
You can maybe try an ad plugin if the auto-ads will not work with our theme ad system.

Sorry but we have not officially tested auto-placed ads. Any ad should be placed in the the ad spots in our theme.

Besides, when I add the ad codes in Theme Panel > AMP, the following error will be found from Google AMP Validator. It will have an adverse impact on Google’s AMP caching as there would be an error. It seems that there is something missing. You can try it yourself. You won’t see this error on my posts as I have removed the manual ad codes on posts to avoid any error. Thank you.

My computer is using only Sierra (Version 10.12.6 (16G1314)), not High Sierra. Not sure if that makes a difference. I think my work computer which is an iMac also uses Sierra and not High Sierra. I believe I tried tinkering with the cache before with no luck, but will have another go again. Not sure if this matters, but I’ve tried the theme in a localhost environment (MAMP) and also on a live site, but same effect.

Two follow-up questions:
1) Should the ad code boxes at the Theme Panel remain empty?
2) In order to install automatic AMP ads, where should I paste the two pieces of code (secquency of commands and ad code)?
When I use a construction like this a href=’ ‘ , in text tab inside Tagdiv composer, and when I save it – the single quotes ‘ ‘ are transformed in double quotes ” “.
For example when I use the regular WordPress Editor – then it doesn’t transform the single quotes to double quotes.
Same thing happens when I build something like style=’ ‘, when I save it – it becomes into style=””
Why we need it not to transform single quotes into double quotes – because we use single quotes inside shortcodes – and it messes up our shortcode code.

For AMP Auto Ads, we don’t need to enter the ad codes in the theme panel. The ads will be automatically inserted into the website. This is the strange point that the ads don’t automatically show up.

I forgot. The reason for removing the codes I put in Theme Panel > AMP Area is because it causes some non-critical errors when I put the codes there, no matter it is for Header, Footer or Article positions. Thank you.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, there were ads but they came from the ad codes I put in the Theme Panel > AMP Area. Now, I removed the manual ad codes. Please have a look again. The ads are not there anymore. However, you can still see the Auto Ads Codes on the pages. You can pick any post from my site.
So, the AMP Auto Ads have not been shown successfully. I am sure I have turned on the AMP Auto Ads in Adsense so that I can get the two codes for <head> and <body>.
This method of inserting the codes in that file you mentioned may not work at all…

That would depend, I could take a look if you can provide a link to a post on your website where the issue happens. Make sure that you use the latest AMP plugin version.
There was such a problem in previous plugin versions but they were fixed, so at the moment there are no more know issues with it.
Most similar problems were caused by ads not being entered properly or user content.

The inline ‘style’ attribute is not allowed in AMP documents. Use ‘style amp-custom’ tag instead.

No you cannot, you can set a template for all the tag pages in general. This would be the same for author pages and archive pages for example. At the moment these can only be set in general, but this may change in the future, the plugin is in beta stage.
