Hello,
After I updated the theme to version 10.3.2 in my website two strange things have appeared:
– on the home page in the news box all the articles appear, not just those in the news category as it is set in the page configuration (Here the screenshot: https://whigdevelop.it/screenshot.png )
– in all the articles any inserted media became clickable with the link to the image. We would like the author to choose whether or not to insert the link, but also when you publish an article without any link on the images they become clickable after publication.

Could you please help us to solve? Thanks you in advance!

I want to remove the author info (author box and the name in the posts) not in general, but only for a certain WordPress account.

I guess, there is no possibility by the theme itself. But do you maybe have a workaround for it? I would appreciate any suggestions.

Hello guys,

I’ve just installed Newspaper and the Pulses PRO demo along with it. I noticed that the single post template is misplacing the author and read more boxes as you can see here, making them overlap with the post content. However, when I press the Edit template button on top, the boxes are rendered correctly.

The only plugins I have active are those installed with Newspaper, plus Akismet and Jetpack. I’ve also made no changes to the overall configuration via the template panel. At this point the installation is pretty much on vanilla state.

I wonder if you have any thoughts?

I have disable author box, disable tags, change font, change color theme, ect but nothing happen.

I’m trying to display the email author in TagDiv Cloud custom Template, but can’t see which snippet to call to do so.

I can via Author Box but my client doesn’t want that.

he’d like to have something like this :

by “AUTHOR NAME” Published on DATE at TIME

where author name would link to a mailto: “AUTHOR EMAIL”.

So far I manage to do this, by deactivating the author link, and adding a “Icon” element, but you have to specify a link… it’s not calling up the authors’s email automatically…

Hello. I have several sites with the Newspaper theme, and they are set up with the AMP plugin and mobile theme.

On a new site I just started building, it seems that the mobile AMP pages act differently than before. The mobile AMP pages are cluttered with a lot of items that should not be there, like breadcrumbs, category link, author name, number of visits/comments?, tags, previous/next, author card, like button /share, etc. I cannot find a way to remove them, other than setting up custom code.

This has never been a problem on any of my other sites:

I have obviously done something different on the new site, but cannot figure out what. I need all the items mentioned to be gone. I have not added any custom code to the other sites, and cannot see why only the new site got this problem.

Also, the “latest articles” section at the bottom of the page only shows 3 links and no images. (It should show 12 links with images, according to my settings.)

I have license/purchase code for all sites.

I use the exact same bit of custom css-code to set the dark theme on all sites. But these are only color settings:

When landing on a single post, the Author Card/Box won’t show the author profile pic until the refresh button is pressed. I tried emptying the browser cache. It doesn’t work. On the demo, it shows right away. Villex.net

I use the latest version template newspaper. I would need to delete only the author name (not the date of publication of the article) both at the beginning of the article and at the end (the box inside the box). How can I do? Consider that I do not have the opportunity to intervene with the cloud templates (I updated the site from version 9 to X)

I have been trying to configure my author box and it is not giving me an option in the user panel to add an image to it for the box before I changed themes I had images in and they all disappeared.

And also, I added my AdSense in all the boxes in the ad section but there are still quite a few “Newspaper” ads that are still displaying on my site, I want them gone ASAP please so I can monetize my website with my own ads and not yours please.

I made changes on my theme panel but it didn’t reflect on my live website, I disabled comment, date, ajax view count, author box, comment and also changed my logo but it didn’t reflect on my installed demo live website the date, comment, author box and co are still enabled

I would like to add certain shortcode elements to my author box.

i found the text to be within a class “td-author-description”
which I only found in the loop-single.php

when I edit loop-single.php to show an extra header2 “test-header” and then do_shortcode I do not get any result. All Caching plugins are removed, I re-read the page with Ctrl-F5 and dont take it from browser-cache as well as I tried it with mobile & ipad. How would you suggest I can add shortcodes to author-box

Hi, After the Newspaper 10 update many people are angry beacsue they have to rebuild there entire website or use Standard Pack plugin. Fortunately, my website is new and it was easy for me. However, after using Cloud library for a month, I,ve reached to this conclusion that theme need to solve many issues in next update.
1. Update Mobile theme
I am using mobile theme and there is no option in theme panel which allow us to choose what we want to show and hide in Single post. For example I don’t want to show Post view count, Author box and Facebook like button, but there are no option to hide them. So please update the mobile theme and allow us to customize it.

2. option to hide Featured Image
There are few posts on my site on which I want to hide the featured image but there is no way to do it. I made a new cloud library template for such posts and removed the featured image in this template but problem is on mobile theme. Featured image is still showing on Mobile theme. SO again update the mobile theme and make it compatible with Cloud library

3. Cloud library header not showing on Mobile theme
Again same issue: Make cloud library compatible with Mobile theme. I have created header from Cloud library and its not showing on mobile theme. Instead mobile theme is showing a Header from Theme panel.

4. We need an Option to choose style (font, colors, etc) of cloud library directly from Theme Panel.
I am using Romania News demo on my site but I want to change the font and color on my site. To do so, I had to edit every cloud library template (single post, category, Author, tag, search, 404 etc) and change the color and fonts on every block. What if we have an option to choose color and fonts directly from Theme panel instead of using default by Cloud Library template.

5. How to use smart lists on Cloud library?

I hope these issue will be resolved in future updates. Thanks
