Yes – 🙂

I did try changing some users roles, and obviously authors, editors, and contributors all should be selectable. Although …. on on some sites if they have 200 authors that is going to kill that. Never a perfect solution there … perhaps adding a box for entering a single author ID would probably work best.

Thank you! Because I needed that box to be displayed in desktop and tablet screens bigger than 767px, I changed the code to be:

And you can display the buddypress profile url below each author box. However, I’d really love for more Buddypress options, like message, friend, etc. to be directly available below an author’s articles. Maybe you can do that in the next update?

Woocommerce, Buddypress, are some example and stuff like that. I cannot disable them from the theme panel, i need to know how can i customize the theme so use only the things that are really important for my site, without codes of stuff that are not working on it.

Do you have a guideline to have a lighter version of the theme, in order to load only the essentials?

When running PageSpeed testing if you keep running into the issue with external Gravatars loading from gravatar.com, copy the images from your website when loaded, and then upload to your media folder, or other folder.

Use this plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-local-avatars/

this will allow you to load all the author photos locally and *not* from gravatar.com, and it works with both the author box on posts, author page, and the author widget in sidebar.
