Hi, I have some post based on text blocks but the real content that I want to insert in the excerpt is in the third text block. These post are created with visual composer. I want to know how can I auto populate the excerpt field with the first X character of the content of the third text block instead of doing it manually?
Did you read the guide I posted?
By default, WordPress strips some (but not all) HTML tags. You’re able to type all the HTML you want into the About Yourself –> Biographical Info text box for each WordPress profile, but HTML tags like p (new paragraph) and br (line break) get stripped once you click to save.
This is a wp issue, not a theme related issue. Please check the link I posted or a fix.

If you want to show only the first level categories, please notice that you will have to do this modification in td_block_mega_menu.php, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/Pkvn5QEdGm
For your second request, if you want to sort the categories from your mega menu, the subcategories are displayed in alphabetical order, if you want to change this order you could try to use a plugin like Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order as I saw that many users use it.

I’m not sure exactly what implementation is needed for your affiliate ad. Please ask the ad provider about an implementation method as we have not tested this type of ads. Add it inside a simple text block as Chris suggested above and see if it works. Any ad should work from a text box if the proper implementation is added. some special types of ads require a piece of code added in the theme’s head tag. Please refer to your ad provider’s guide

3) Our blocks are fixed. Their layout cannot be changed from the theme settings. Our blocks cannot be used in revolution slider. Only in visual composer. 4) You can use wordpress to add images or video to your post. Yopu can add images from the media library and you can use oembed to add videos or other elements

Right before closing footer for all posts is inserted metadata but if you pass the w3c validator throws the error: “Element meta is missing required attribute content”
Seems that the content attribute is required if the meta element has an itemprop attribute
From Stackoverflow:
From WHATWG HTML and also HTML 5.1 (W3C Working Draft): “If […] itemprop is specified, then the content attribute must also be specified.”
From the old Microdata (W3C Note): “If a meta element has an itemprop attribute, […] the content attribute must be present.”

When i use the inline ad (for 2, 3 or 4 paragraphs) and coincides with the blockquotes, that banner appear inside the blockquotes and the appearance is not entirely professional.

Hi the College layout looks like one I might want but I have a few issues.
(do you have a method to attach files)
#1 when viewing all the styles in the Newspaper part of the dashboard many styles show an empty box. I am looking for a solution to that.
#2 when applying the college template It does not look like the style – It is just a long string of articles.
I think something is missing.
#3 using any of the existing blocks or grids I would like to have a large image and two smaller images but I want the large one to rotate. Im not understanding Revolution slider – I seem to not understand the slider template I keep using default and get nowhere.
#4 How do you place images and/or video in the body copy of an article post. And how do you set the text wrap for that image or video.
Im working on a large non-profit organization and Im trying to get this site working as fast as possible.
I know you are on the other side of the world – but it would be great if we could communicate in real time.

Same here. Images used by the theme are not showing. All manually coded images (in the posts) are showing, all Woocommerce images are showing…but those served by theme on homepage, sidebar blocks, etc (using VC) are not showing.

What are some common reasons images would not display on a desktop? They are fine on mobile- or they may be cached.
I just noticed that after I updated, the page has lost the shaded line that was under the main menu. This line that appears when the site is not stretched but in block format. To further explain, it was a shaded, defined line that separated the menu from the trending now on my site. http://www.bangorbuzz.com. I have updated everything, including plugins. Any ideas?

Since V3 we made some major changes in block’s structure and all atts are now defined in td_block.php file. Maybe new implementation conflict with your code and it may be required an adjustment.
Unfortunately I can’t debug the code provided as this involve custom work and we can’t provide such services at the moment. If you still can’t manage to solve this issue my advice is to look for someone who can help you with implementation or hire a developer to update the code for you.

In Newspapaer/includes/wp_booster/comments.php your developer has forgotten to add block-title into the class for <h4> in the line 32.
Here is the original code present:

and here as it should be:

On the site I am working on, I have All-in-one Events plugin installed which post_type is ai1ec_event.
I’d like to show sone events together with standard posts in the blocks and as well in megamenus. But I cannot select events category/ies!
Blocks settings forms allow to select one or more categories but only for basic post_type “post”.
I Would like to include in the Category filter and in the Multiple categories filter, categories of the other post_type which I specify in Post Type field.
Only filling Post Type field allows only to show all posts of custom post Type, but not allows to specify categories of this post type even if specifeid in the Multiple categories filter.
Any idea how to do this?

Please notice that this type of demo has been designed to have that style for your block title only for td-ss-main-content and td-ss-main-sidebar container and not for entire website. So, if you want to change for all of those, please notice that you should erase some snippet of code from here -> http://screencast.com/t/uRKsTCeV6n and then the style will be applied for everything.

But if you only want to target the latest articles section, you will have to use css. please add this code in the theme panel -> custom css box:

No, td_block.php don’t work in child theme and also we didn’t tested td_data_source.php like this. Try to move td_data_source.php in main theme and check how it goes.

We have no tested our theme with another builder as we built our theme using visual composer. I cannot say for sure if you can use another builder or not, but most likely our modules and blocks will not work with other builders. You will only be able to use the builder default elements and not the theme elements anymore.
As for the assistance, we cannot recommend anyone. We cannot offer customization services and we have no customization department for custom work. Sorry.

Unfortunately the featured video is a custom implementation we added so plugins cannot tie into our code. Plugins are created or wordpress using the standard wordpress code. Custom elements cannot be affected by plugins like the featured video, our modules and blocks, our theme panel and every other custom made element we created. Only the wordpress functionality can be changed through plugins.
