Hello,
You have lots of js errors in your console http://screencast.com/t/k44YbThyHXfl
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. This should eliminate any plugin conflicts. Then check your sidebars again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hello,
Was the layout broken before you installed these plugins? http://screencast.com/t/mgtADVFdZ
Please try the following. Disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. This should rule out a plugin conflict you might have. If the problem is still there, check for any custom code added to the theme or modifications to the homepage (rows added inside other rows will cause the layout to break)
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hi,
I’m not sure how you implement your videos but you need to try a different method of implementation as the one you use is not responsive. It has a fixed with: http://screencast.com/t/fpnn2u3v so it will display fine in desktop but it will break in tablet and mobile.
As for the block 9, please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn. This will rule out a plugin conflict. Also if you have any settings on the visual ccomposer row, please reset them to the defaults. You can also recrete it on a blank page and only use block 9 and the slide element. Please male sure top only use these 3 columns https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please try to access one of the posts to see if the counter increments. Hit refresh a couple of times. If it does not, please try to activate the ajax view counter as the views are cached: http://screencast.com/t/O8XodoffzD then check the counter again. If you still cannot get it to work, you might have a plugin conflict that interferes with the counter. Please try it without plugins, clear cache and reset cdn.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hello,
Please try to update your theme to the latest version by using this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
If you still have this issue, please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.
Sometimes, wordpress itself has issues with special characters. If you use for example special characters in your sidebar titles, your sidebar will be stripped of widgets by WP. Please try to avoid special characters as much as possible.
Let us know if you still have this problem.
Thanks.
Hello,
This sounds a lot like a js error. Please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear your cache and reset cdn if you use it. Most likely you have a plugin conflict that interferes with the lazyload animation.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi
My site is:
A couple of hours ago I resolved an issue I was having with images not showing on mobile by turning off LazyLoad animation. The issue I had is described here —
Every since I turned off LazyLoad, the menu and search feature in mobile are not functioning. When you press the icons in mobile nothing happens.
Actions so far:
Deactivated all non-tagdiv plugins except Visual Composer.
Installed WP Super Cache and cleared cache. CDN is not enabled.
Thanks
Richard

No images (apart from the logo in the header and footer) are visible on mobile devices.
Issue occurs with both iOS and android mobile phones.
Images display normally on Desktops and Tablets.
Actions so far
Deactivated all non-tagdiv plugins except Visual Composer.
Installed and ran the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin.
Installed W3 Total Cache and ran ’empty all caches’ and ‘purge CDN completely’.
Activated previous theme ‘Themify Magazine’ and checked mobile view – working normally
Reactivated Newsmag theme and checked mobile view – all images (apart from the logo in the header and footer not appearing
About 40% of our traffic is on mobile devices other than tablets so this is a serious and urgent issue for us
Thanks,
Richard
I may be wrong and the experts may be better – but this happened to me once and was a CDN issue – either MAXCDN or Cloudflare – on Chrome only just exactly the same – are you using those?
For tech heads … by massively hacked … we are
– changing wp-content to /assets/
– changing author slug to profile
– removing /category/ slug
– hacked theme name and dependencies to our local branding
– local loading vs CDN of font awesome and jquery for optimzation/opcache in prep for https/2 update to server
– highly compressed html, js, css
– highly optimized wp-config.php file
– if single/ head removal of js/css only intended for home page
– locked down php disabling in core WP folders for security
– complete removal of all comment code
– complete removal of all XML-RPC code
– complete rewrite of local default search to load from paid Google Search Engine (GSE), including from URL search string and default WP search box
– local loading of author/client avatar, captured from gravatar but hosted locally and cached
– custom “more posts from author” function and placement
– custom breadcrumbs since our CMS is in sub-dir, main static site one level up for actual ‘home’
– custom author box to print as plug into after post meta to appear on AMP version of page including link to author/client site and top four socials (rel=nofollow and target blank)
– custom data fields with ACF5 Pro
– custom hook to our YOURLS install to pull in custom shortcode, drop into post meta, for sharing
– custom local functions, CSS, for social sharing buttons that grab YOURLS shortcode
– (and like etcetera)
so, you think you’re confused ? Welcome to my brain right now ! 🙂
There was a bug in last version of WordPress which broke page numbers, unrelated to any theme.
If you have not updated your version of WordPress to the latest version, that might be good first step and then clear all site caching / CDN content cache after update of WP.
Might not be your issue, but is is *the* problem that prior version of WP introduced, and was fixed a month later with the current version of WP.
Hello karakey,
This issue is known when using CDN or loading fonts from a different source. Please try to use this solution and take a look at this: http://screencast.com/t/AMjW530CSH6 and this: http://screencast.com/t/dLjEUGGwQUZ
The solution to this issue is simple. You will need to add some code to your .htaccess file like this post suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/strange-chinese-symbols-replaced-icons-and-arrows/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hello,
The problem is not from the update, but caused by the cdn server. It is because of the fonts. Please read this topic to see how this can be fixed. https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/strange-chinese-symbols-replaced-icons-and-arrows/
Thank you!
Hello,
this type of issues usually occur due to plugin conflicts. Please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then check your mobile menu again. If you use a child theme, please try to activate the main theme to see if the problem does not come from there.
Let us know.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Also if you have custom modifications revert them to the theme defaults, and if you use a child theme, please activate the main theme. Check again afterwards.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.

Hello kapson,

For some posts you do not have the thumbnail and is shown only the image. Please try to regenerate your Thumbnails with this plugin and check after if your problem is still there. For more information about these problems, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/ Please clear cache and purge your files if you use CDN.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello,
Please make sure you have everything selected in screen options: http://screencast.com/t/Zp1RqJlq9
If the settings still do not show up if everything is checked, then please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files (if you use it). There could be a plugin conflict that interferes with the settings.
Let us know.
thank you!
Hello,
This issue is most of the time caused by plugin conflicts. Please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then check your featured images again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hello,
Please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn. There should be sidebars in the widgets area (ones you create or the default footer sections).
Please try to create a few sidebars and check again:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/

Thanks.
Hello Virginie,
Our theme only has one version. There is no French version or English version that we know of. You must be using a plugin to display different version of your site. Unfortunately these types of plugins are not tested so so we cannot say for sure why this happens. Please try to empty your cache and reset your cdn files if you use it. If you still cannot get it to work you may have to replace the plugin. (qtranslate x seems to work as suggested by our users but again, it’s not tested.)
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
Hello,
If the sorting option worked before, then pleased try to figure out what changed since a few days ago. Did you change a few settings or installed a new plugin? Usually things do not happen without a reason. Please check a few options that are required for the 7 days sorting:
1) the option active in the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/Aigw5YYXL
2) the Ajax post view count: http://screencast.com/t/DxPIvWusbwvQ
3) The post views themselves as this option relies on views: http://screencast.com/t/Yz3Qo9I6
If you have all of these options checked and the counter does not work, please try to refresh your post page and see if the view counter increments. If it does not work, please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then check the post views again.
let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi,
I have checked your website and saw a bunch of issues. Js errors in your console,, mixed content errors (SSL issue), the search icon and the menu are not aligned. The mobile menu icon is also not aligned to the logo on mobile. This can only be one of 2 things. Either you have custom modifications that were not done properly or there is a plugin conflict.
If you have modifications, please try to restore the theme to it’s default state and check if the issues are still there. If you did not customize anything, then please disable ALL plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then check your website again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Looks like it’s fixed again, at least for now. Spent about 3 hours chatting with a MaxCDN guy and after getting nowhere with this dumb tech support rep at Bluehost, he helped me just make the files that were showing up exceptions to CDN caching and it’s working fine.
Sheesh.
