Hello,
The tagdiv composer cannot be used on posts. It can only be used on pages.
If the edit button does not appear, please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

I think I finally found the bug that was driving me nuts.

The automatic global modal stopped working sometime ago for me and I couldn’t find why. After thousands of test I finally narrowed down the problem

Whenever I activate a plugin for a CDN such as CDN Enabler or even the default wp-supercache CDN tab, the global modal stops working.

It seems that when activating a CDN the “class=td-modal-image” no longer gets autoinserted. I think this is related to the CDN rewriting the URL. I think the safest bet for this to get fixed is to “insert” the td-modal-image class AFTER the url so it doesn’t get rewritten.

Is there any way this could be easily fixed by altering a file?

I want to add the following code to AMP (Tagdiv AMP) header & footer of html as well –

<script async
custom-element="amp-auto-ads"
src="https://cdn.ampproject.org/v0/amp-auto-ads-0.1.js">
</script>

How to do it?

Hi there,
thank you for the response.
My site does not use a CDN or a caching plugin.

Hello,

This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

Hi,

The update will contain the same solution, the same modifications will be made in the theme Instagram file and counter plugin files.

@Talent10
Make the modification for the Instagram widget or counter plugin and then clear all caches, website caches, browser caches, CDN if used. The widget will work

Hello,

The reverting back to the original template indicates a caching issue. Please only use wp super cache and these settings:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
If you use a cdn, please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/

Thanks.

@dlr720 Try clearing the website cache as well, purge CDN if used. Clear the browser cache. The solution works so it could be a caching issue. If there is still a problem after making the modification for the Instagram widget we could take a look, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Hi,

The website loading speed is affected by many factors, like hosting server, plugins, page size etc. There are many guides here in the forum that can be useful in improving website loading speed. Some of them here

I don’t know why but this problem is also on my demo site, not only on my production site. This happen even with CDN (CloudFlare: Cache+Minify), Cache and all external plugins deactivated and exclusively on the Twitch icon. I’ve also cleared the custom mobile CSS and re-installed the tadDiv mobile plugin.

Anyway, what about the rich snippet problem?

Hello Kley,

I have tested on my side and the Twitch social icon is there and works as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/kpIj4d4w Please try to clear all the caches, purge CDN files if you are using the Cloudflare and check the results.

Thanks.

Hello architecture,

It could be some temporary js which causes this problem or something caches, CDN files, sorry! I have tested your website and now seems to work as expected, without any problem.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

It cannot be worse, that topic contains the solution for both the Instagram widget and social counter plugin. Please follow the steps mentioned in the topic, there are detailed steps provided as the topic progresses.

After making the changes be sure to clear all caching and purge CDN files if used. Let us know.

Thanks

@nimish1995 Not updating the follower count can be caused by caching. If you made the necessary modifications as mentioned in the provided topic there should be no problem.

Try clearing all caching installed or server provided, purge CDN files as well if used. Then check if the displayed data is accurate.

You can use multiple counters if you want, configure each one as needed. There are also styles to choose from

Hello charlenetoronto,

Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, increase system status parameters, purge CDN files if you are using the Cloudflare and check the results. If the problem is still there, you should make a new clean install from scratch to another subdomain for testing and check the results.

Thanks for the message!

Hello Ritukant,

I suggest you reinstall the latest version of the theme via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files if you are using the Cloudflare, increased system status parameters and check the results. Very important is to check your requirements for the theme to be compatible with this guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Hello DLND,

It seems to be strange what you mean, sorry! Notice that the post should have to be only in the certain categories in which it was added. Please make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme, installed via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. Also, if the problem is still there, try this behavior with a default theme and check the results. Notice that’s a default WordPress functionality.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi Bogdan,

I am a Japanese user. I am poor at English, so I use Google translation.

I am also suffering from the same problem, and as a result of trying variously, I am working on it now.

1.From the WordPress management screen, change the theme to the default “Twenty Seventeen” and so on.

2.Stop & delete all plug-ins attached to “NEWSPAPER” below.

[revolution_slider_5][js_composer][td-amp][td-composer][td-mobile-plugin][td-multi-purpose][td-newsletter][td-social-counter][td-speed-booster]

3.Delete the installed “NEWSPAPER” theme.

4.Delete the illegal media being uploaded.
「tdm_pic_1」「tdm_pic_2」「tdm_pic_3」「tdm_pic_4」「tdm_pic_5」「tdm_pic_6」「tdm_pic_7」「tdm_pic_8」「tdm_pic_9」

5.Access the database using “phpmyadmin” etc. Delete the invalid post in “wp_posts”. The posting status was “inherit”.

6.Upload and activate the downloaded latest “NEWSPAPER” theme.

7.I just reset the setting of the theme just in case. It may not be necessary to do, as it is not possible to verify it is essential.

【WordPress>Newpaper>Theme panel>Import / Export>RESET THEME SETTINGS>Write[reset]>Click[Reset theme settings]】

8.Upload necessary plug-in plug-in and activate it.

9.Reset the “NEWSPAPER” theme as necessary.

10.Initialize cache plug-in and CDN.

・When changing the theme of “NEWSPAPER” from “8.7.2” to “8.1.2”, no symptoms appeared.
・I did not fix it even if I reinstalled the theme of “NEWSPAPER”.
・After deleting all the plugins that came in, I fixed it again by reinstalling theme and plugin.
・It is also displayed on the “tagDIV” site.

Hello Resple,

Please provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at your block images. If these will does not appear it should be a problem with your opacity. Maybe your images are stuck in opacity 0. This usually happens on a js error caused by plugins or customization or other external optimization tools.
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset CDN files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functioning of the theme.

Thank you!

Hello trcanada,

If this change has been made in that file it will have to work. Clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. Make sure that you have made the right changing in order to achieve best theme results. Notice modification is part of a custom made and we cannot provide support for this. All of these changes should have to be dome by yourself.

Thanks for your understanding!
